I love a good challenge to get the creative juices flowing. And that is why I love doing the Makery Challenge with Barbara Miller, my friend and downline.
Each month we create a challenge and each make a project with it. Check out Makery Challenge #6.
You can see what a fun challenge we have for this month! First up I will share the project I made for this challenge, but keep reading so you can also see what Barbara made.
First of all, I used the Card Carrier Die to make this little pouch. Did you see my blog post yesterday, where I made a pencil holder? This is the holder, but made with the Fall-O-Ween printed paper and now it's holding Pixy-Stix! Here is another view of the holder, so you can see the Spider better.
I stuck him on a strip of clear view sheet, so he sticks up and kinda bobbles around when you hold it. It's my favorite part of this trick or treat goody.
I used a lot of fun accessories on this project that are from FSJ's Holiday Catalog.
I used Monster Eyes (AC-0377 $3.95), Spooky Eve Stickers (AC-0372 $8.95) and Spectacle Fun (AC-0376 $3.95). I always say, love is in the details, and these accessories can be the love that you add to your fun trick or treat projects, right. The glasses!!! Tomorrow I will share with you the card I made to go with this project, I use these same accessories on that as well, I am calling it a faux shaker card!
Now let's take a look at the cool home decor project that Barbara made for our challenge.
It is so darn cute! I'd hang this on my craft room door! I might just have to make one for myself. You can find out more about this project on Barbara's blog. She will tell you all about how she made it.
Below are all the products I used to make my Pixy Stix holder.
