One of my favorite products to use for a quick WOW is PanPastels. Today's card features a Sunset made with the Party Pop collection of PanPastels. This set has the basic colors and I use it a lot.
The technique I used is Poppin' PanPastels. First I stamped the Scarecrow image with Clear Pigment ink onto Buttercream card stock. Then I applied the PanPastels over the top to create the sunset.
The PanPastels stick to the ink making it a shade darker that the pastel around the stamped image. So, the image stamped in clear ink now POPS off the paper.
To finish off my sunset I sprayed it with Shimmer Gold Splash. It is my favorite thing to pair with my PanPastels. This splash leaves a fine mist of gold shimmer, perfect over this background a other PanPastel creations.
The Happy Harvest stamp set that I used to make this card is the October stamp set of the month. Which means if you purchase it from my online store, then I will send you an exclusive card kit and tutorial to make with your new set!
You can see the making of this card in the video below. Every Monday night I do a LIVE demonstration on my Facebook page with the stamp set of the month, so make sure you click over and follow my page so you can catch me LIVE next time.
If you are curious about the things I used to make this card I have linked them below for you.
