Guess What! It's time for another Lip Balm card! How do you feel about Fruit Loops? I love the bright colors and found some amazing products to pull this card all together!
Who would think to bring cereal, tropical birds and lip balm together? But look how fun it is and it works!
When I came across the Lip Balm Pouches, Lip Balm Window and Frame Dienamics Set, Sending Smooches stamp set and the Sentiment Rip Strip Dienamics die set from My Favorite Things, I knew I had to have them to make some more of my flavored lip balm creations. Incase you missed them, here are some of my past lip balm creations; Let's Cinnamon Toast, Haunted House Boxes, Frosted Flakes Lip Balm Tag, Jolly Rancher Apple with Lip Balm Holder, Milk Carton for Cereal, and Bread Tag Die Chapstick Holder.
I've been waiting to do this card for a long time! I've had the lip balm and stickers for months now. But it finally all came together when I was able to order all the MFT elements to put the lip balm on my card. I think this sweet card would really brighten anyones day. A card with a little gifty in it!!!
And with the help of the Sentiment Rip Strip Dienamics set, the recipient can easily remove the lip balm. GENIUS!
Putting a lip balm on the front of the card does make it heavy, so I wanted to put a layer on the inside of the card too, giving a bit more weight.
And here is where I used the sentiment from the MFT stamp set, Sending Smooches. A perfect finishing touch for this card.
If you'd like to see the making of this card I have attached the video for you below, but be sure to click over to my YouTube channel and subscribe if you have not already done so. I will be sharing new videos there every week.
Now for a little BONUS share! Check out the cute little gift tag I made to go on a little to go cup of Fruit Loops, the perfect little treat to give with this card.
I just tied some ribbon around the cup of Fruit Loops and added a fun and simple tag. The sentiment, Do more of what makes you happy, is from the Bowl Over stamp set, which is one of the Returning Favorites stamp sets at FSJ right now, and is on sale!
I needed the spoon to be smaller so it would fit in next to the word YOU on my tag, so I cut it shorter and hand drew in a line with a black marker.
The bird stickers, Toucan Friends, are really fun and were the perfect fit for my projects. I liked that I could use them since I did not have a tropical bird stamp set.
I love making lip balm projects and still have some other flavored lip balms on hand to bring you some other fun creations, so stay tuned! Scroll to the bottom to find links to all the products I used. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with me.
