Time for another creations with my stamp set of the month, Oh Gnome! by Lawn Fawn. In today's cards I am featuring an add on die set that Lawn Fawn released with the Oh Gnome stamp and die set, Mushroom House die set. I knew this die set was a must have to go with my Oh Gnome stamp set, but could also be used with my critter stamps as well.
I actually thought this die set made mushroom shaped cards when I first saw it, but then realized that it die cuts a mushroom shape to put on a card. So, I knew I would create mushroom shaped cards with the set, and it is really very easy to do.
The finished size of these cards is about 3-1/4" x 3-1/4". Small and oh so cute! NOTE: If you watch my video on YouTube of the making of this card, I say that it could fit in a 3" x 3" envelope, that is actually not true.
I really love that the door opens up and you can put your gnome inside to peek out.
And here you can see how this card opens up. I have stamped a sentiment from the Oh Gnome stamp set on the inside. It is also a great place to write a personal message.
I loved making this one so much I decided to try my hand at a brown mushroom house.
With this card in my hand you can get a better feel for the size. They are mini.
