Making a scene today using Distress Oxide Inks 5 ways on this one card! I love a sunset scene and like to play with different colors to create it. Today's sunset takes place On The Beach, with the stamp set of the same name by Lawn Fawn.
I had so much fun creating this beach scene, it really makes me crave a lazy day some where sandy and tropical. To color in my stamped images I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. I love all the images in the On the Beach stamp set, but also LOVE the crab from the Life is Good stamp set, so I had to include him too. Which leads me to the point that has to be said about Lawn Fawn, it makes me so happy how you can mix and match most all of their stamps sets!
In the video below I show you how I made this card and the 5 ways I used Distress Oxide ink. If you have not yet done so I'd love for you to click over to YouTube and subscribe to my channel. I release about 2 videos a week.
Here are the 5 ways to use Distress Oxide inks that I showed in the video:
- Ink Blend to make a scene
- Draw/Color on a Distress Oxide blended background with a water brush
- Splatter water over a Distress Oxide blended background
- Use Distress Oxide ink to splatter with
- Ink Smooshing for a one of a kind background
Check out this amazing watery background I created for the inside of the card.
If you are interested in any of the products I used to make today's card they are listed and linked for you below.
