Today's card was inspired by a challenge I had with @madewithlovebyterri over on Instagram. If you do not follow me on Instagram and would like to you can find me under my user name, @carrierhoades.
On one of her posts, Terri asked, which do you like best; ink blended cards, shaker cards, stamping on card or coloring on cards. I replied, "why not all four?". She said she would take that challenge and so I had to as well. So today's card has ink blending, is a shaker card, has stamping and coloring. It was so much fun, and I used this opportunity to use a new stamp set from Dare2BArtzy, Christmoose.
I have to say Thank you to Dare2BArtzy for the stamps and die sets I am using in today's cards and video. I won a recent contest they had and got to pick these stamps and die sets! And I think they are so cute!
The four elements on this card from the challenge are:
- Ink Blending - I used ink blending on the background of this card along with emboss resist.
- Shaker Card - I used the Winter Kiss Clay Snowflakes for this shaker card.
- Stamping - I stamped the moose image as my focal image as well as a sentiment and snowflakes to accent this card. I also stamped snowflakes on the background of this card as part of the emboss resist technique.
- Coloring - As a novice copic colorist I enjoy every chance I get to practice my coloring skills. So, I used copics to color this image. I love how the vest turned out with the highlight in the center of each section.

I love how this card turned out and plan on sending to my sister for Christmas this year as she has always loved moose.
