Today is all about slimline, rainbows, unicorns and watercoloring! Sounds like fun to me!
In Episode 4 I am making slimline cards! My current favorite thing to make! So, you knew there would be an episode with slimlines.
I made two different cards, like I like to do, both using watercoloring to color in my images. And it was so fun playing with watercolors!
Take a look at today's cards.
I pulled out a couple other Avery Elle sets for todays cards, Rainbows stamp set and die set and Peek-a-Boo Balloon stamp and die set as well. I really wanted to make a "somewhere over the rainbow" card. And there is where the unicorn is going in his hot air balloon.
I used my Arteza watercolors to paint all of my images and the sky background as well.
To give them a bit of shimmer I sprayed the sky and rainbow with Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Spray. A pretty easy card to make.
These slimline cards measure: 9" x 8" scored at 4"
The card front layer is 3-3/4" x 8-3/4"
For card two I used the Rainbows die set to make a shaker for the front of the card.
Each of the rainbow strips were die cut from a watercolored panel to give character to each piece. I also used those watercolored panels to stamp my rain drops on.
My shaker elements are from Nuvo, Rainbow Quartz Triangles. I might just adore these little iridescent triangles! I used them in Episode 3 for both of my shaker cards.
