When Spellbinders asked me to create with the new Flourished Fretwork line, I knew I wanted to make some bold and bright cards.
What better way to do bold and bright than with rainbow!
To make my rainbow cards I cut some strips of card stock. Some to 1/4" and some to 1/2". I adhered the strips to panels of white card stock and used them to create these cards. Let's take a closer look.
This card features the Ornamental Valance die set, which is one of eight new die sets in the Flourished Fretwork collection designed by Becca Feekan.
With the rainbow strips behind this die cut cover image and the rainbow drops, I see an old fashioned candy shop.
The label on the front of this card was made from the previous card, I love when you can get two cards from one background!
The die cut cover image looks great in the background die cut from white card stock and adhered to a white card base. And every card in today's post is adorned with Rainbow Drops.
This rainbow strip was made using left overs from the background for the first card, so really I got three cards from one background!
The background for this card was made by embossing the Ornamental Valance plate into the card stock.
For the next three cards I used the Rosa Diamonte die set, another the the Flourished Fretwork collection.
I love that with this die set I can use just the frames for a fun graphic card!
Watch the video below to see how I made each of these cards and see these fun new die sets in action.
Below are all the supplies used to make these cards.
