Hello there, I am back with another creation using the Wishing Happiness stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy.
This time I am bringing in some rainbow, because I love all things rainbow. Lately I have been crazy about making backgrounds with strips of card stock. Which is what I used for the backgrounds on todays cards.
The Wishing Happiness stamp set is a perfect match for these backgrounds. There is so much you can do with this stamp set besides color in the images, like stamp and emboss it over a background. I did this in my last post with watercolor and today over my rainbow backgrounds.
For the first card I used 1/2" and 1/4" strips of card stock to create this background. The 1/2" strips are lighter and the 1/4" strips are darker. The finished panel size is 3-3/4" x 5".
Once the background was all adhered together I stamped and embossed the flowers over the top with white embossing powder. I then mounted this to black card stock that is 5-1/8" x 3-7/8". I added the thank you sentiment, also embossing with white across the front panel. This was then mounted to an A5 card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2").
To dress up both my cards I added Rainbow Drops, my favorite embellishment for rainbow cards!
For card two I adhered my strips diagonally. This time the darker color is the 1/2" strip and the lighter color is the 1/4" strip.
The flowers are in the exact same spot as the first card, thanks to stamping with a stamp positioning tool, but embossed with black powder this time.
The sentiment was cut using my Silhouette Cameo and the Pix Scan mat. This mat is new to me and I love that I can cut out a sentiment like this that there is no die for. But there is a die set for the floral images in this set.
You can watch the making of these cards in the video below.

The other supplies I used are listed and linked for you below. Affiliate links have been used. That means that when you click and shop a link a small commission goes back to the blogger or YouTuber. It's at no cost to you but a great way for you to show support to the maker who inspired you.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by my blog. I will be back again soon with more cute things!
