Hello my stamping friends! Today I am hoping along with the Scrapping for Less design team for the month of May.
I get to help reveal the Flavor of the Month Card kit and share some project ideas. The Flavor of the Month kit is either a subscription box or can be a one time purchase. The kit I am sharing today is the Double Dip Kit with with Banana Split. The Double Dip has 4 collections in it. Take a look at them here and all that comes in this kit.
WOW, right! So much fun in this box!
The theme this month is Let's Encourage One Another. The images and sentiments in this kit are perfect for this theme. Right now is a great time to send a little encouragement to a friend or loved one.
Let's take a closer look at the Easy Peasy Collection and the card I made with it.
The papers in this kit are amazing, so thick, I love them all.
I used all the images in this set to make my focal image and used Copic Markers to color it in. I used several of the printed papers on this card and envelope, there are just too many good ones to choose from.
Another great thing that comes with these kits are card sketches. These are so helpful for getting your mojo going. Here are the four sketches for this months kit. I used the sketch in the top left corner for this card. And since I am making four cards I used each of the sketches.
Now let's take a closer look at the Weather Together Collection.
RAINBOWS!!!! Another awesome thing about this stamp set, it was designed by someone who encourages us all in our paper crafting and coloring endeavors, Courtney Kreeber!
Here is the card I made with this collection using the sketch in the bottom right corner.
You can see that my card is a bit different than the sketch. I find that a sketch is a great jumping off point and as I start creating the card some changes happen and the card goes in it's own direction. Which is why sketches can be so helpful when you are not sure what to make.
Now lets look at the Love Big Collection and the card I made with it.
Look at the big foot! So cute, right! His name is Benny, the Big Foot! I really enjoyed coloring him. And the sentiment in this set, Don't Stop Believing, LOVE!
For this card I used the sketch in the upper right corner.
In the kit there is a stencil set; one with raindrops and the other with clouds. Great for backgrounds! The clouds behind Benny really helped to create the illusion that he is SO BIG!
Last but not least, lets look at the Little Lady Collection up close and my card with this set.
I could not get over the beautiful papers in this collection! And this paper is so sturdy, it feels like you have two sheets in your hand when you are holding one. This collection also comes with several die cut images, I used the black leaves on my card.
This card was inspired by the sketch in the lower left corner. I could not stop using the printed paper on this card, so much fun! Polka dots, plaid and such patterns are my favorite in printed paper. I also used the cloud stencil for this little lady scene, what a big difference a little bit of clouds make!
You can watch the making of these cards in the video below. If you are new to my YouTube channel, feel free to subscribe, I have new video a few times a week.

Hello there my stamping friend and fellow Lawn Fawn fans! Today I am sharing a video that is part of a YouTube hop with some fellow makers who are Lawn Fawn Fans like me! Some of these gals have just started a YouTube channel and I wanted to help support them by introducing them to you. They are all very talented and have great ideas to share with you. So hop along and enjoy the video fun!
This hop is sponsored by Scrapbook Pal! It's one of my favorite on-line retailers to shop at! They are giving away a $25 gift card to their shop! All you need to do is leave a comment on a video in this hop, the more videos you comment on the more chances you have!
For my Spring creation I wanted to use the A Bug Deal stamp set, cause it is one of my faves and so darn cute. Plus, all the critters start creeping and crawling around in the spring. And I have been dying to use the new Lift the Flap die set (dying to use, you caught my funny, right?). Then Lawn Fawn came out with their new Slimline collection and I knew I had to use these for today's card.
Here's the video and below are photos of the card I made.
Be sure to subscribe to these new channels and show some love to these talented ladies, you are going to love their creations!
Here is the card I made.
I have 4 lift the flap elements on this card, a stump, rock, bush and cloud. Each with something fun inside. How fun is that and so easy for an interactive card! The Lift the Flap die set is a fun addition to all your Lawn Fawn images. You could use the rock images as piles of snow for a winter scene!
I used the new Large Slimline die set to cut the front panel of this card for the sky. I die cut a second one of these panels, that measures 8-1/2" x 3-1/2", and ink blended on some Mowed Grass Distress Oxide ink. Then, I die cut this panel again using the Stitched Hillside Borders die set to get my two hills for the front of this card.
I love to play with my Lawn Fawn products, mixing and matching them when I make a card. It makes me so happy that they design so many of the products to work together. The trees on this card are from the Shadow Box Park add on die set. They work great tucked behind the grassy hill.
And I added a little bit to the inside of the card too.
This card would be great for so many occasions, a birthday, a promotion, retirement, a big accomplishment. So, I left the inside sentiment out and will add it when the perfect occasion arrises. And I am able to part with it.
Now it is time to hop along, next up is Neha Tulsyan. She is a just starting to build her YouTube channel and I know you are going to be so glad she is, her creations are beautiful. Watch her video right here: https://youtu.be/vvfjbdCo1Ks

It's the last episode of my May stamp set of the month series! The Rainbow Turnabout stamps set has been so much fun to play with.
Today I am sharing some monochromatic creations as well as turnabout layering!
For today's cards I made monochromatic backgrounds with the Rainbow Turnabout stamp. The best card to see this in the orange card in the center. I made an all orange rainbow panel using 4 different ink pads to create the background panel.
I made panels in reds, yellow, greens, blues and purples as well. I then cut these in to small rectangle to use to make multicolored backgrounds.
I then cut up my monochromatic backgrounds and pieced them back together for this background. But I did not stop there. Once pieced back together I used the Star Turnabout stamp set over the top to emboss some stars in Gold and Silver embossing powder. And this became the background for my shaker card.
The sentiment is from the Joy Tiles stamp and die set.
For the second card, I used the Star Turnabout die set over the top of my background. Once I die cut this turnabout 4 times I adhered gold card stock to the back.
To add a bit more shine to this card I embossed the "joy" sentiment in gold.
The puffy heart is one I had on hand left over from a Valentine kit I got years ago. I thought I was so fun for the dot on the "j".
For card 3 I kept it simple using an orange monochromatic background by itself.
I love that the Joyful Tiles stamp set has two additional images to change it up, like this, turning joy into enjoy.
I think it would be so fun to make an entire monochromatic set of rainbow cards as a gift. And they would be great to give to a friend based on their favorite color.
There are so many fun things you can do with the Rainbow Turnabout stamp set. I hope today's episode gave you another great idea with this set and even with other turnabout sets you may already own.
Here's a look back at the other episodes and links to the video's in case you missed them.

Hello my crafty friends it is the 25th and that means it is time for another Christmas card with the Crafty Christmas Club!
Every month the Crafty Christmas Club gets together to make Christmas Cards on the 25th and share them with you in a blog hop!
Take a look at the card I made for this hop.
I wanted to play with the Holiday Helpers stamp set, as I have only used it once to add elves to a Santa scene. So, they needed their own card! I thought they needed to have a wrapping party! I had so much fun coloring all these images!
I made the scene on this slimline card with the help of the Whimsy Stamp die, Slimline Wavy Die. Great for waves and for snowy banks, right!?!
Each section of the cad has another scene of this wrapping party.
I think I used just about every image in the Holiday Helpers stamp set, at least all the ones you can color in. I wanted a couple wrapped gifts for the scene too, so I pulled out the Ho-Ho Holidays stamp set to add to this scene for the presents and the reindeer too.
You can see the making of this card in the video below.
If you are new to my YouTube channel I'd love for you to subscribe, I have a couple new videos each week!

Hello there, I am back with another creation using the Wishing Happiness stamp set from Dare 2B Artzy.
This time I am bringing in some rainbow, because I love all things rainbow. Lately I have been crazy about making backgrounds with strips of card stock. Which is what I used for the backgrounds on todays cards.
The Wishing Happiness stamp set is a perfect match for these backgrounds. There is so much you can do with this stamp set besides color in the images, like stamp and emboss it over a background. I did this in my last post with watercolor and today over my rainbow backgrounds.
For the first card I used 1/2" and 1/4" strips of card stock to create this background. The 1/2" strips are lighter and the 1/4" strips are darker. The finished panel size is 3-3/4" x 5".
Once the background was all adhered together I stamped and embossed the flowers over the top with white embossing powder. I then mounted this to black card stock that is 5-1/8" x 3-7/8". I added the thank you sentiment, also embossing with white across the front panel. This was then mounted to an A5 card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2").
To dress up both my cards I added Rainbow Drops, my favorite embellishment for rainbow cards!
For card two I adhered my strips diagonally. This time the darker color is the 1/2" strip and the lighter color is the 1/4" strip.
The flowers are in the exact same spot as the first card, thanks to stamping with a stamp positioning tool, but embossed with black powder this time.
The sentiment was cut using my Silhouette Cameo and the Pix Scan mat. This mat is new to me and I love that I can cut out a sentiment like this that there is no die for. But there is a die set for the floral images in this set.
You can watch the making of these cards in the video below.
The other supplies I used are listed and linked for you below. Affiliate links have been used. That means that when you click and shop a link a small commission goes back to the blogger or YouTuber. It's at no cost to you but a great way for you to show support to the maker who inspired you.

I hope you are enjoying the Spellbinders May Club Kit Blog Hop! What a fun and talented group of creators I get to collaborate with today! You may have arrived here from my friend, Jill Hillard's blog, glad you made it!
I am excited to share the Large Die of the month for May with you today. Spellbinders has several club kits that you can subscribe to; dies, stamps, glimmer hot foil, card kits. You should check out all the offerings, I think they are priced great! See your Club Kit choices HERE.
The Large Die of the month for May is the Kaleidoscope Card Creator, a set of 11 dies. You layer the 3 corner pieces and the 3 connector pieces to create a frame on your card. It's such a cool look. I have used this die set before to create three different looks, check those cards out HERE if you missed them. But today I really wanted to see if I could make a Slimline card with this die set, as Slimline cards are my obsession right now.
So, let's take a look at how my slimline card turned out.
I was thrilled that I was able to make my current fave, a Slimline card with this beautiful die set.
Here's a break down of what you need to create this card.
This slimline card measures 9" x 8" scored at 4".
You will need 4 of the corner pieces and 8 of the square connector pieces.
If you are not familiar with this die set there are 3 dies that you use to cut 3 pieces that layer to make one corner. There are also 3 dies that cut and layer to make a square connector piece. Of course you do not have to layer them, but I did for this card. The dimension that this look creates is stunning.
Let's take a closer look.
For the sentiment on this card I brought out my Glimmer Hot Foil machine, the Thank You Combo Glimmer Hot Foil set, and Aura foil. I have to tell you Aura is my favorite foil to use. It really goes with everything. And it is iridescent, you can see a rainbow of colors when you turn it in the light.
Also, if you have some pearls laying around that you have not used in a while, they are the perfect match for this die set! The center of these flowers are asking for a pearl!
I have some tips and tricks for you on this die set and making this card in the video below, check it out and subscribe to my YouTube Channel if you have not had a chance to do so. I have new videos all the time, if you don't want to miss them, ring the bell and YouTube will let you know when I post another crafty video.

Hello my stamping friends. I am excited to bring you Episode 3 of my Rainbow Turnabout series! Today is a fun one! We are not making rainbows!
When my daughter first saw this stamp set she thought it was to make watermelons. So, that is where this idea was born!
Do you see watermelons???
Let's take a look at my watermelon card.
To create the watermelon background I first stamped my Rainbow Turnabout image one time in Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink and embossed it with clear powder. I wanted to set this ink so that I could watercolor in the fruit part of the watermelon with out watercoloring the rind. For the watercoloring I pressed my Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink down on my glass mat and used a water blending brush to water color in the fruit. When that was dry I drew in the seeds with a black journaling pen.
The large watermelon on the front of this card was made using the Brighter Days stamp set, also from Concord & 9th. It was designed to work with the Rainbow Turnabout background and makes for a great watermelon too! The Brighter Days die set has a die for cutting out raindrops that is perfect for my watermelon seeds!!! I love that you can get the Brighter Days stamp and die set in a bundle for a bit of savings, thanks Concord & 9th!!!
Now it is time for another sweet treat, the Popsicle!
This card was a little bit easier than the last. I stamped the Rainbow Turnabout one time with the Picked Raspberry ink and then watercolored the popsicles with that same ink. The sticks I painted on using Tea Stain Distress Oxide ink.
The large popsicle is also from the Brighter Days set. The drips are that same raindrop die! I think the thing that makes these popsicles POP, is the addition of the white gel pen to give them the look of shine.
You can see these cards in the making right here, in Episode 3 of my Rainbow Turnabout series!

Hey there crafty friends! I am excited to be guest designing for the Dare 2B Artzy channel today!
I am sharing with you a stamp set I picked from their shop, one I thought was versatile and fun. It is the Wishing Happiness stamp set.
I love the Zentangle feel of this stamp set. I have tried my hand at this kind of art form and decided I would stick to stamping my images. So, I was excited to play with this stamp set.
For today's projects I thought it would be fun to do something other than color the images in. So, I pulled out my watercolors.
For the first card I did some watercolor resist.
I started by embossing the stamped images with clear powder on watercolor paper. Then I used my Arteza watercolors to apply a watercolor wash over the stamped images. I love the soft look of a watercolor wash.
I also love the look of splatter, which you may have already known, so I added splatters with Gold and Bubble Gum silk to the card.
I added a gold embossed sentiment from the Wishing Happiness stamp set. And to finish off this card, some gold sequins. I did not want to leave the inside blank, so I stamped on of the flowers in Picked Raspberry ink on the inside, you can see this in the video below.
Card two, also has a watercolor wash and embossing. This time I did the watercolor wash first and then gold embossed the images over the top.
To add to this scene, I stamped the solid image from the Wishing Happiness stamp set in Distress Oxide inks, as they stamp so nicely over a colored background. I used; Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, and Mustard Seed.
I added the same Gold and Bubble Gum silk for the splatters on this card.
The sentiment was stamped with Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide ink and embossed with clear powder.
A sprinkling of Gold sequins finished off this card.
Such a fun stamp set to play with and so many possibilities with it besides coloring in these images.
You can see these cards made in the video below.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies used to make these cards.
Affiliate links have been used where possible. Clicking and shopping these links generates a small commission which helps this blog and channel continue to bring you new content, at NO cost to you. Thank you so much for your support!
Hey there stamping friends! Today I have a video up on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube channel. I love being on their Design Team and creating videos for this fabulous company!
In this video I am sharing how to use the Glimmer Hot Foil system over Ink Blended backgrounds.
If you have not shopped at the Scrapbook Pal online store you should check it out, they have great prices! I love to shop there for my Lawn Fawn, Copic and Avery Elle products and much more.
In this week's episode featuring the Rainbow Turnabout stamp set from Concord & 9th I am showing you two ways to emboss this image for some fun backgrounds. I'm taking those backgrounds and making 5" x 5" cards with the Oh, Shoot! stamp set, also from Concord & 9th.
You can watch this episode right here:
Now let's take a closer look at the cards.
For the first card I embossed the turnabout with clear ink on white paper with clear embossing powder. Then I used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend over this for an emboss resist background. It is such a fun background that can be used for any stamp set you'd like to pair with it.
I chose to use the new Oh, Shoot stamp set. Look at that fun camera! I love it and it has an interactive option. The picture image can pull in and out of the camera, I die, it is so cute!
The die cut smile is also from the Oh, Shoot! die set. Doesn't it look good in glitter paper! The addition of the large gems remind me of the old time flash cubes.
CARD TWO
For this background I actually made 5 backgrounds, doing an entire 6"x 6" panel of each color. Stamping each with clear ink, clear powder and embossing it. The raised up shiny rainbows are so cool. Then I cut them into 1" strips to make the background for this 5" x 5" card.
I colored the camera the same and did an assortment of stamped instant picture images around the card, including one mini shaker. Which was easy to make the with coordinating die that cuts out the center of the instant picture image. The hearts inside are from a die in this same set and were die cut from black glitter paper.
Thank you so much for stopping by, remember to tune in next Tuesday for Episode 3 of the Rainbow Turnabout series! Below are all the supplies I used to make these cards. Clicking and shopping these affiliate links means that you are showing this blog and YouTube channel support, at no cost to you. THANK YOU!
Hello stamping friends. Today I am playing with the Rainbows stamp and die set by Avery Elle. You might remember me using this set on my slimline cards with the Peek-a-Boo Fair stamp set. There is so much more that you can do with the Rainbow Stamp and Die set that I knew I would be bringing it back out to share with you. Mostly, I wanted to make shape cards with it. I NEED rainbow shaped cards in my life!
The first card I made is a stand alone rainbow shaped card using all the dies in the set to make an inlaid rainbow.
Each of the bows for the rainbow was die cut from watercolored panels I made in this video. They were left overs that I has saved and made making this card even faster. Since I had already used the red bow in the largest spot I started this rainbow with purple and then continued on with the red and so forth creating the entire rainbow. The clouds I die cut from some glittered card stock to make them a little extra special. This card is very easy to make and fun, like a little puzzle.
For the next card I took this shape card and turned it into a Tri-fold card.
For this card I stamped the Rainbow image on the rainbow shape card and colored it in with Copic markers. Then I added some cute little sloths to the front from the Peek-a-Boo Pals stamp set. Sloths and rainbows go together, right! I mean, what doesn't go with a rainbow?
Then the rainbow opens to the cloudy panel with another sentiment.
This panel then opens and there is a place to write your personalize message. You can see how these cards are made in this video.
All the supplies I used to make these cards is listed for you below.
Affiliate links have been used at no cost to you.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing a bit of your time with me!
Hello my crafty friend and welcome to Episode One of my May Stamp Set of the Month Series.
This month I am featuring the Rainbow Turnabout stamp set by Concord & 9th. I am a huge turnabout fan. A background stamp that you can stamp in multiple colors, it's just awesome! So, when they came out with a rainbow turnabout, I was giddy!
Episode One is Bright vs. Pastel! I love bright colors so I knew I would be inking this goody up with the brightest I have, but I thought it would also look good in pastels. So, I am doing both! Brights VS Pastels! Who will win? You be the judge.
You are going to want to watch the video so you can see the making of the backgrounds and the inks I used. Watch it right here:
Now let's take a closer look at each card.
The is the first of the bright cards. I used Altenew inks for all my stamping. They sell their inks in sets of four colors that are the same, like 4 reds that range in shades. I love that, it's great for stamp layering and turnabout stamping too. Because for my pastel card I took the lightest shades of the same bright inks I used for this card!
Also, on each of the cards, I incorporated the Sew Happy die set from Concord & 9th and added stitched elements. Like this hello in rainbow colors.
The thread I used is also from Concord & 9th, the kit they have has great colors in it!
Here is the first pastel card.
Loving how the pastel came out, more than I thought I would. It's just so happy!
Love how the stitched diamond looks on this card, the perfect frame for the tiny sentiment. All the sentiments I used are from the Rainbow Turnabout set.
Next up is the second bright card.
For this card I switched up my inks a little bit. I skipped orange and used a teal color. I love how it turned out! I like that the teal in the rainbow matches the teal clouds. It really helps to tie it all together.
I am so in love with this hello with the ombre effect, using 3 different threads from the Concord & 9th pack.
Next us we have our last card and the second pastel card.
For this card I used thread I had on hand as it more closely matched this fun colors in this background.
Each of these cards has their own look and feel with the different colors. Do you have a favorite? I love them all and had such a fun time making them. I even got my daughter stitching!
Be sure to tune in on Tuesday for episode 2 with this Rainbow Turnabout stamp set!
Here all the the supplies I used to make these cards as well as other stitching products that Concord & 9th has to offer. Affiliate links have been used. If you don't know that that means, they are links used by paper crafting professionals who, like me create content to inspire other using products they love. When you click on these links the maker who inspired you gets a small percentage of the sale, at no cost to you. So, I encourage you to use affiliate links of those who have inspired you, it supports the work they do. And I thank those of you who have clicked and shopped my links!
I hope you enjoyed today's cards, I love sharing my creations with you. See you again soon!
Welcome my stamping friends, to episode 5 of my Peek-a-Boo Fair series! It's been a fun month of creations with this Avery Elle stamp set, a great addition to the Peek-a-Boo line! In this episode I am jumping in with both feet to do some no-line coloring. Really it's a light line coloring. Meaning, you stamp your images in a light color of ink and use that as a guide to color in your image so that the line goes away and only your coloring remains. For this technique I used Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp my images. I used stamp from the Peek-a-Boo Fair set, Peek-a-Boo Pals and Market stand for the card. I also brought in Peek-a-Boo Pets for the cute treat holder I made to match my card.
To color in my images I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Bristol Smooth card stock. My method is to outline the image with a darker marker and blend that softer with a lighter marker and color that out either with the same marker or a third lighter marker.
You might be able to tell right off the bat, but this card is a 5" x 7". I needed a bigger area to create my night at the fair scene, so that I could put the ticket booth next to the Ferris wheel.
The background on this card was created using PanPastels from the Spellbinders shop. First I put all the hearts and stars from the Peek-a-Boo Fair and Peek-a-Boo Pal stamp sets on one block and stamped them onto Whip Cream card stock with clear pigment ink. Then I applied the PanPastels from the Rich Sorbet collection. The pastel sticks to the ink making the image slightly darker. It's a fast way to create a background, it takes so little pastel to get this look and they blend with almost no effort.
In this photo you can see the gold shimmer on the background, added using Shimmer Gold Splash Spray by Fun Stampers Journey.
To take this card up a notch, I added to the inside of the card as well.
Now let's take a look at the treat bag I made using the Treat Topper die by Avery Elle.
The farm animals have snuck out at night to get themselves a treat! That is cotton candy in my 4" x 6" cellophane bag and not dryer lint, fyi.
I love that this die cuts the perfect bag topper with a little handle. I added a sentiment tag to the handle to finish off the look. The little farm critters are from the Peek-a-Boo Pets stamp set. I LOVE how the little pig turned out. I think I am getting the hang of no-line coloring and will have to keep playing with it.
You can watch the making of these projects in this video:

The Spellbinder Large die set of the month for May 2020 just released! It's the Kaleidoscope Card Creator. It's a pretty fun die set and makes for a very cool layered look! Today I am sharing with you 3 ways to use this new die set.
This first card shows the dies put together as intended, creating a frame on a card.
Isn't it crazy cool! Each corner is created layering up 3 die cuts. For my top layer I used Gold Mirror card stock. Layer 2 I used Blue Lagoon card stock and layer 3, Cool Pool card stock from FSJ. And, yes, I do realize that I stamped the wrong YOUR on this card. I do intend on going back to fix it.
Other than that, I love how this card turned out.
For this 4" x 4" cards I used shades of pink card stock and all three of the corner dies, but cut off the contenting tabs. They fit together perfectly this way and leave an opening big enough for a 2" circle.
For this card I use the side connecting pieces to create a banner. I love the retro feel of this card. AND, I used the right YOU ARE, that should be on card one.
You can see this 11 piece die set in action in this video.
Below is the supply list for these cards.
