Rainbow Turnabout Episode 4

It's the last episode of my May stamp set of the month series! The Rainbow Turnabout stamps set has been so much fun to play with. 

Today I am sharing some monochromatic creations as well as turnabout layering!  

For today's cards I made monochromatic backgrounds with the Rainbow Turnabout stamp. The best card to see this in the orange card in the center. I made an all orange rainbow panel using 4 different ink pads to create the background panel. 

I made panels in reds, yellow, greens, blues and purples as well.  I then cut these in to small rectangle to use to make multicolored backgrounds. 

I then cut up my monochromatic backgrounds and pieced them back together for this background.  But I did not stop there. Once pieced back together I used the Star Turnabout stamp set over the top to emboss some stars in Gold and Silver embossing powder. And this became the background for my shaker card. 

The sentiment is from the Joy Tiles stamp and die set. 

For the second card, I used the Star Turnabout die set over the top of my background. Once I die cut this turnabout 4 times I adhered gold card stock to the back. 

To add a bit more shine to this card I embossed the "joy" sentiment in gold. 

The puffy heart is one I had on hand left over from a Valentine kit I got years ago. I thought I was so fun for the dot on the "j". 

For card 3 I kept it simple using an orange monochromatic background by itself. 

I love that the Joyful Tiles stamp set has two additional images to change it up, like this, turning joy into enjoy. 

I think it would be so fun to make an entire monochromatic set of rainbow cards as a gift. And they would be great to give to a friend based on their favorite color. 

There are so many fun things you can do with the Rainbow Turnabout stamp set. I hope today's episode gave you another great idea with this set and even with other turnabout sets you may already own.

Loved the shaker card in particular and enjoyed learning how to use the TURNABOUT™ jig and alignment aid. I have seen Gina K.'s wreath builder but not the Concord and 9th product. Really not too familiar with their product line. Thanks for the lesson and loved the cards.
