Welcome back my stamping friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! Every Tuesday in the month of June I have been bringing you ideas with the Car Critters stamp set by Lawn Fawn. Today is the fifth Tuesday of the month, which mean this is Episode 5!
Today I am taking the little critters to the fair! For some bumper cars and rollercoaster riding!
And this is an interactive card! The cars move on a straight slider, a die from the Large Slimline and sliders die set. The bunny moves along the coaster with the Coaster Slider Add on die set. That makes this card a double slider! So much fun to play with.
All three of the cars move back and forth in the slider, bumping into each other just like bumper cards.
You can get a lot of looks from this stamp set by coloring your card in different colors, stamping one of the six bears in the card and coloring the bears different colors. And the critters from the Coaster Critters stamp set, which I used in the background of this card also fit in the car. Pairing Lawn Fawn sets together to create scenes is one of favorite things to create.
Let's take a peek at the inside of the card.
The bears are off on their next adventure, together.
Now, here is the video, so you can watch the making of this card.

Welcome to the Paper Crafters Unite Against Racism Hop.
When Justine Hovey asked for crafters to join her for this hop and show support to all who are suffering from the effects of racism, I knew I wanted to join. I had been thinking about how I could use my gift of paper crafting as a way to speak up about this issue.
Let me tell you where I am coming from. I am a white woman. Living an upper middle class life. I believe all people are created equal. I believe the greatest commandment is to love one another. I also know I have privilege that I take for granted that so many do not have. I know that saying nothing will never bring change.I don’t have all the right words. But I do have a talent and a passion and I want to use that to say, this is not okay. White privileged Americans can make change by acknowledging there is a difference and it’s not okay.I’m hopeful that saying something is the first step in being a part of change.
To learn more about this hop, get all the links and details, be sure to visit Justine's blog. There are blog hop participant, video participants, and Instagram participants. I am sharing on all three as a lot of others are too.
Let's take a look at the card I made with the theme of support and that we are better together.
It's no secret that I am in love with all things Peek-a-Boo from Avery Elle! Using a lot of different critters of all different sizes, colors, and places would represent how I feel. My hope is that not only will we one day be able to accept each others differences but celebrate them. Making our world a little bit smaller. Yes, we are all so different, but we are all people living on this planet together.
I had so much fun coloring up all these animals from several different Peek-A-Boo sets with my Arteza Brush Pens to put over the top of what I am calling my earth background. The earth background was made with just blue and green water color. Love how it turned out so much, I had a hard time covering it up. But I made more that one, which you can see on the left in the above pictures. So, I can make a second card with that.
I stamped and colored so many critters I had enough to put on the inside of the card.
The "better together" sentiment is one I made, with a water brush filled with water and drops of ink. I then stamped a sentiment over the top that says "No dreamer is ever too small, no dream is very too big".
You can see the making of this card in the video below.
We would love for you to hop along with us, if you watch the video above on YouTube there is a link there to go to the next video on the video hop.

Welcome my crafty friends, it is the 25th and that means it is time for another Crafty Christmas Club Hop!
It's the 25th of the month, so we are back to share more Christmas ideas with you!
Today's card is a long time in the making. Since I got the Oh Gnome stamp set I have wanted to make a Christmas card with it. I am happy that it finally happened. Last month I joked that maybe I would make a slimline card every month for this hop. We will see if I stick to it, but don't be surprised that today's card is in fact a slimline card!
This card was a ton of fun, die cutting, coloring, and putting it all together to make a scene.
For this scene I used two Lawn Fawn stamp sets; Oh Gnome and Yeti or Not.
These gnomes are just so cute, I loved coloring them red and green for Christmas!
The addition of Fluffy Stuff by Cosmic Shimmer really helps add to the wintery feel of this card. You just apply it like glue where you want snow. I let mine set for about 1 hour and then heated it with a heat tool to help it puff up.
I also added a cute little something to see when you open up the door to the mushroom house.
It's a cherry pie, from the Forest Feast stamp set. I love that each of the gnomes are up to something.
And I had to finish the sentiment on the inside of the card.
You can see the making of this card in the video below:

WOW, I can not believe we are already on Episode 4 of my June Stamp Set of the Month series! But don't be sad, there are 5 Tuesdays in June, so I will be back with more ideas with the Car Critters stamp set next week!
Today's card is a smorgasbord of cards all rolled into one. It's a Slimline card, a lift the flap card, a shaker card and a gift card holder.
The story behind this card is that it is the bear in the passenger seats birthday. They are going out for her birthday. When you lift the first flap, the flap on the left, you see the first stop.
The first stop and the birthday day out is breakfast. And here you get your first look at the shaker. You will have to watch the video to see how I made these shaker elements. ITS SO EASY!
Next stop on the birthday day out is SHOPPING!
There is no shaker behind this scene, because there is a pocket for the gift card under this flap.
You can see in the last scene the birthday bear must have made a big purchase at the last store, I think it's a shoe box! And after all the fun, they really should have a treat!
On the inside of the card I added one of the Car Critters holding an ice cream cone and a shopping bag. Both of the these little images are from the Village Shops stamp set, perfect size for the car critters.
You can watch this video for the making of the card right here:

Welcome to the June 2020 Spellbinders Club Kit Blog Hop.
This hop is to celebrate all the Club Kit's Spellbinders has to offer. There are so many and different kits, die cutting, card making, glimmer hot foiling, really there is something for everyone! This hop is FULL of great ideas to inspire you with the June Kits. You should have arrived here from Nichol Spohr's blog, weren't her cards just amazing!
For my card I am focusing on the Large Die of the month kit, Geometrical Floral Frames. I am combining my two loves for today's card; shaker cards and slimline cards!
This slimline card measures 9" x 4-1/4". This is the perfect size card to fit in the business envelopes that I purchased at the Dollar Tree. Be sure to check the size of business envelopes that you have so that you make your Slimline card to fit in it.
It was easy to stencil the background for this card using an 8-1/2" x 11" stencil, Polka Dot Wall, from the Spellbinders shop. It easily covered the front of this slimline card!
Once the background was stenciled on I cut a window in this card to make it a shaker card. I used the largest from from the Geometrical Floral Frames die set, the June 2020 Large Die of the Month set. This die not only cuts the opening, but also a super thin frame that is just yummy! I die cut my super thin frame from Silver Mirror card stock, it's gorgeous!
Then I set to work, die cutting out all the florals to go around my frame.
I find floral arranging, with die cuts, to be so much fun. I love the little detail of the buds on the end of the thin branches. Which I covered with Journey Glaze for a pop of shine, as well as the centers of each of the flowers.
You can see the making of this card in the video below. Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you'd you like, I have 2-3 new videos a week.

You know I love my Glimmer Hot Foil system and making things that shine with it! When Spellbinders announced they would have a Rainbow Hot Foil, I was giddy! I do love all things rainbow!!!
So, today I am playing with the Rainbow Hot Foil and the Twinkle Lights Glimmer Background plate. In the video below I will show you how to easily make and entire A2 sized background with this plate on colored card stock.
And turn them into these fun unicorn themed projects, a card and matching gift bag.
Let's take a closer look at the bag.
This Twinkle Lights background in rainbow just needed a unicorn to go with it. So, I pulled out one of my favorite stamp sets from Fun Stampers Journey, Magical Unicorn for these projects.
I used Pool Play card stock to glimmer hot foil on my rainbow background. And the rainbow shows up beautifully on colored card stock. I tried it on several different colors of card stock and all looked great with the rainbow foil!
I colored all my images in with Copic Markers. I had so much fun making the rainbow mane!
To add a bit more shine to this card I used Journey Glaze to top off the treats, planet, gem, heart, hooves and horn. It was the added little something that this card needed to be extra special.
I really wanted to sue another of rainbow hot foiled backgrounds I made so I decided to make a matching gift bag to go with this card.
The bag was made using the Card Carrier die set, currently on SALE at the Spellbinders shop! It fits 3-4 A2 sized cards. And also makes a great little gift bag for small gifts.
For this project I die cut hearts from the front panel of the bag and glued one of my hot foiled backgrounds behind it so the twinkle lights would show through the cut outs.
And what do you think of my brown unicorn? I would love to know what you think!
You can see the making of today's projects in the video below.

I hope you are having a fabulous week and and a very Happy Father's Day!
Hello there my stamping friends! Today I am making MINI things with the Car Critters stamp set by Lawn Fawn!
Mini, meaning a mini scene, and mini card and a tiny shape card! I had so much fun making all three of these I hope that you will join me and watch this episode.
And now let's look at the first card that has a MINI Scene.
Sometimes making an entire scene can be overwhelming. Making a small or mini scene can be just the right size. With a little bit of masking I was able to make this beach scene for my Car Critters to go swimming in.
But while they were swimming a crab found it's way into their car and started listening to some tunes!
Next up is the mini card, a Shadow Box card. I love the 3D feel of a Shadow Box card and that they lay flat and fit in an A2 sized envelope.
In this scene they are out for a drive I the woods. Which in Idaho is not that far away. We can drive for less than an hour and be in the hills and tress and smell the fresh mountain air.
That is why I colored this card to look like my blue car. We love going to the mountains, usually with an RV in tow.
You could make any scene in this card for your bears to go on a drive to. A beach, a safari, the park, so many fun ways to use this combo of the Shadow Box die set and the Car Critters stamp set.
And here is the mini car shaped card. I just attached the stamped die cut car to the top of the card base. The card base started out at a folded I half piece of white card stock. I used the car die to die cut the shape card by putting the top of the car die just off the folded edge of the paper. When the die hangers off the edge it will not cut that fold. Then you adhere the card to this, creating a car shaped card! This would make a great gift tag, love note, or add it to a card as a kind of lift the flap interactive element.
Those are my three mini creations with the Car Critters stamp set. Be sure to tune in next Tuesday for Episode 4! More fun ideas for you with this stamp set are on their way!
All the supplies I used to make today's cards are linked for you below. Affiliate links have been used at no cost to you. Shopping these links means you get to show support to your favorite small businesses and to this blog and YouTube channel. I thank you so very much!
So, have you played with Digital stamps? I am somewhat new to them and it is a like a new world has opened up for me! I love that I can find an image that I might need for just one occasion and have it that instant to make a card or project.
So, when Jamie asked me to be a part of her Digital Stamps design team for Not 2 Shabby, I was thrilled. Today's card features two Donut images found on the Not 2 Shabby shop, designed by Jamie herself. And this card and video is for a collaboration I am doing with another of the design team members, Marla Harris. For this collaboration Marla challenged us to use stencils on a slimline card, and I got to pick the digital stamps we use.
I used the stencil for the background of this slimline shaker card. It is the Rain of Hearts stencil from Penguin Palace. In the video I show you how easy it is to use a 6" x 6" stencil on a slimline card.
These donut image are so fun to color. I use COPIC Markers to do my coloring. I printed my images on an HP Envy printer on to Neenah 80lb. card stock. I did not have any issues with the kind bleeding on this image. If you would like to see how Jamie from Not 2 Shabby colored these images you should really watch her videos here and here. I don't know why but making desert themed cards is one of my favorite kinds of cards to make. And most of the time they turn out to be shaker cards too. So, this one is no different. For my shaker elements I used some heart shaped sprinkles that I had on hand.
I did not forget about the inside of the card. IF you are going to say Treat Yo'self on the outside of the card, you should really be a gift card on the inside. Or cash, cash is always good. The sentiment stamp is from Concord & 9th and is in the Cool Treats stamp set. I also used the heart die from the Cool Treats set for the brown hearts on the outside of the card, they made for cute embellishments. Especially when I added a bit of Cocoa Blush Nuvo Jewel drops to them.
The gift card holder I used is from Fun Stampers Journey, it's the Gift Slider Die set. I love that the gift card is behind a little bow! And when put on the inside of a slimline card you still have half of the card to write your personalized message, win! Also, I just found out that the Gift Slider Die is on sale as part of the Super Summer Sale at Spellbinders! It's 40% off!
Now let's watch the making of this card.

Welcome back my stamping friends. Today, I am sharing Episode 2 of my June Stamp Set of the Month series featuring the Car Critters stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
Today I am making Reveal Wheel cards that are also slimline! I will show you two different ways to create slimline Reveal Wheel cards. On of them is a double Reveal Wheel Card! TWO reveal wheels on one card! If you love Reveal Wheel then you should really check out my Two Window Reveal Wheel card!
Let's take a look at today's cards.
It's a birthday theme this week!
This first card is how we use to do birthdays. Driving around picking up all our friends and heading out to a fun location for a party, like bowling!
You can see that this card has two square reveal wheels on it. So the balloon gets a different face with the turn of the wheel and gets a new passenger with every turn of the wheel.
Let's look...
The additional critters in the car come from the Coaster Critters stamp set. I love seeing the car get all crowded with friends. Even though I colored the fox wrong! I had to go with it because I did not want to redo the entire reveal wheel piece. But not to worry the fox is colored right on the next card. And then I thought we are all different, and so maybe it's okay if the fox on this card is different. What do you think, would you have re done it?
Now let's look at how I used the Square Reveal Wheel to make a slimline version.
This is what birthday parties look like now days. It's a birthday parade. They have decorated their cars, they are throwing candy and have gifts to drop off. But one card is doing all the things. This is grandmas car, she brought balloons as you can see above.
She brought cake!
She brought presents!
And she is playing some good music!

Happy June! A new month means it is time for a new stamp set of the month series!
This month's stamp set of the month is....... Car Critters by Lawn Fawn!
Each week, on Tuesday, I will be brining you new ideas with this set for the entire month of June!
Today's card is a Flippin' Awesome card. The Flippin Awesome die set, with it's ability to make a waterfall card easy, is one of my favorite interactive cards to make. So, it had to be the first card I made with the Car Critters!
The Car Critters stamp set is a smaller set and a great price point. I have so many fun ideas with this setI can not wait to share them with you!
With each flip of this waterfall style card a new scene inside the car is revealed and this sunset drive evolves as well, as the color of the clouds also change.
In the first scene these little bears head out on a sunset drive or road trip.
They are happy and listening to tunes.
Until someone took a wrong turn.
The map to the rescue, perfect if you don't have cell service on the back roads. Do you see the sunset getting darker?
And then all is right again and we finish with a heartfelt sentiment.
I think this card would be great for an anniversary card, or bday card for a significant other. I left the inside blank so I can customize it when the time comes.
You can watch the making of this card right here.
If you are new to my YouTube channel, please feel free to subscribe. I have a few new videos a week.
Be sure to tune back in next Tuesday for Episode Two. I have something fun planned, crossing my fingers that it will work out how it is in my mind!
Below I have listed and linked all the things I used to make this card.

Today we get to take a look at the all new Large Die of the Month kit by Spellbinders. The Geometric Floral Frame die set was released just today. This set has two abstract geometric frames and 6 dies that cut floral images. I think it is such a pretty set.
Since there are two large frames in this set, I made two cards. It is so much fun to arrange flowers, when they are paper that is!
You can watch the making of these cards in the video below.
If you are new to my YouTube channel you can subscribe, I have new videos every week.
Now let's take a closer look at each of the cards.
This card features the largest of the two frames in the die set, it is such a fun shape. I love that it is different than the standard shapes I normally use.
I really wanted to use up some of the hundreds of backgrounds I have made and are anxiously waiting for me to choose them and use them on a project! I thought this die set would be lots of fun to use with some of these backgrounds. Several of the backgrounds were made using the Gel Press. I used the prints to die cut the floral pieces and even the center of my geometric shape.
You can get a better look at the prints on the leaves and flowers in this close up pic.
Here is the second card:
For this card I wanted to use silver for the frame and accents. I love how it turned out.
Look at the die cuts close up, the prints are so cool. It's little details like this that make a card special.
Below I have linked the supplies I used to make these cards.
