Welcome to the June 2020 Spellbinders Club Kit Blog Hop.
This hop is to celebrate all the Club Kit's Spellbinders has to offer. There are so many and different kits, die cutting, card making, glimmer hot foiling, really there is something for everyone! This hop is FULL of great ideas to inspire you with the June Kits. You should have arrived here from Nichol Spohr's blog, weren't her cards just amazing!
For my card I am focusing on the Large Die of the month kit, Geometrical Floral Frames. I am combining my two loves for today's card; shaker cards and slimline cards!
This slimline card measures 9" x 4-1/4". This is the perfect size card to fit in the business envelopes that I purchased at the Dollar Tree. Be sure to check the size of business envelopes that you have so that you make your Slimline card to fit in it.
It was easy to stencil the background for this card using an 8-1/2" x 11" stencil, Polka Dot Wall, from the Spellbinders shop. It easily covered the front of this slimline card!
Once the background was stenciled on I cut a window in this card to make it a shaker card. I used the largest from from the Geometrical Floral Frames die set, the June 2020 Large Die of the Month set. This die not only cuts the opening, but also a super thin frame that is just yummy! I die cut my super thin frame from Silver Mirror card stock, it's gorgeous!
Then I set to work, die cutting out all the florals to go around my frame.
I find floral arranging, with die cuts, to be so much fun. I love the little detail of the buds on the end of the thin branches. Which I covered with Journey Glaze for a pop of shine, as well as the centers of each of the flowers.
You can see the making of this card in the video below. Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you'd you like, I have 2-3 new videos a week.

Such an awesome card! I love your glimmer videos, bought the one background I must have, and been using it the ways you suggested. I think you, Yana and Nicole convinced me to become a glimmer kit subscriber. I love it! Thanks for enabling me and putting out great videos!

Oops I forgot to tell you the most useful tool... That is a combo because you cannot use Glimmer Hot Foil machine without a Die Cutting machine! But my computer is a tool I use everyday to watch videos like yours (I could not function without it!) So I guess I cannot choose just one.

I feel this month's kits from the club are great and so useful - especially the GOM, and all the little flowers in the kits. Your shaker card and choice of colors make for a card to be remembered (ok maybe I am a little partial to those colors)! Great job in the video.
