Hello and welcome to my August Stamp Set of the Month series. This month I will be featuring the Honey Bee Stamps set, Way to Goat.
It is a huge set and is going to be so much fun to play with as we wind up summer and look forward to fall.
To make this card I used the Build a Barn die set, also by Honey Bee to make some DIY flaps on the front panel.
Inside the barn doors are little scenes with goats and a fun sentiment that builds as you open each one.
The backgrounds of each scene were ink blended with the new Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink and a splash of water. So quick and easy.
All of the backgrounds have die cut bails of hay as well. Which is just one of the dies from the Build a Barn die set. I give them more interest I used Copic Markers to add shadows.
I love that there are 5 different goats in this set, so you can create unique scenes. Plus all the little farm animals that you can add in with them and punny sentiments. It really is a great stamp set!
You can see how I made these barn door flaps in the video below.
I also have a video up on the ScrapbookPal.com YouTube channel today featuring this stamp set, you can watch that video right HERE.
I have listed and linked all the supplies I used for you below:
