Hello and welcome to my September Stamp Set of the Month series, Episode One! This month I am featuring the Trinity Stamps set, Bunny Burrow.
I love critters! And this set has that burrow house, it's too darn cute.
This month I am challenging myself to make a card and a cute thing to go with it in each of the Episodes. So stay tuned, every Tuesday, this month for new ideas with this set. You can see this Episode on my YouTube Channel right here.
Let's start with the card I made. I made a slimline card, of course, I love them so much. And Trinity Stamps has an amazing line of slimline die sets! That being said, I am sure you can guess that there will be a lot of Slimline cards this month.
For most of my Stamp Set of the Month series I like to start out by "getting to know" the stamp set. Using all the images, creating a basic card with them. And from there I start playing around with different ideas. It's kinda like a first date. And after this first date, I know it is true LOVE! I am giddy over this stamp set. I had so much fun coloring in these images with my Copic Markers and creating this slimline scene. The worm has to be my favorite image in this stamp set. He reminds me of the worm, Lowly in the Busy Town books. If only he had a hat and a shoe!
I used two of the slimline dies sets from Trinity Stamps to create this card, Scalloped and Scenic Borders. I love the scalloped edged panels!!!!!
For my coordinating project I made a book mark. I used the smaller of the scalloped rectangles as the base. This is the base for my shaker book mark.
This is a shaker bookmark. I used my Fuse Tool to encase my book mark in plastic. I LOVE how it turned out. This was my first project using the Fuse Tool and I might have to fuse all the things now!
You can see I colored the worm green for this project, isn't he so cute! All the critters are just darling in this stamp set.
You can see the making of these projects in the video below. If you can not see the video below you can also view it HERE.
I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make these projects for you below.
Affiliate links have been used, at no cost to you. Affiliate links are a collaboration between online shops and makers. When you shop these links the retailer gives a small percentage of the sale to the maker, at no cost to you. It is a great way of supporting your favorite businesses and the makers who inspire you. Thank you for shopping my links. Sharing my creations is my favorite thing to do and you have helped make it possible.
Both projects look great, i havent been able to get the bunny burrow set here in Australia.
You made me smile when you said you loved Busy Town, im also a fan. My son who is now 27 use to watch it constantly we had them all on video and also had the computer game. If busy town stamp sets came out i would buy them all.
I look forward to you're videos they are always so cheery and fun.
