Today I am playing along with the Dare 2B Artzy October challenge. On the first Sunday of every month Dare 2B Artzy has a new challenge for you to play along with. This month the challenge is to create a FALL project. You can share your creations over on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to their shop!
I pulled out one of my favorite D2BA stamp sets for todays card. It is the Christmoose stamp set. I love this set so much and it is great for more than just Christmas. I thought when colored right it could have a very pumpkin spice fall like feel. You tell me....
I think the gorgeous printed papers really help give these moose a fun fall look. These papers are from the Fall Harvest Variety Collection of papers, I LOVE the plaid pattern so much.
This card is a Z-fold card, for some reason I really love a z-fold card. They are easy to make and are a little different from the usual card which give a fun little surprise to the recipient.
The base of this card is 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 5-1/2" and at 2-3/4". Then you fold it into a Z. This is an oldie but a goodie card design.
On the inside there is a panel to write a personalized message on.
I colored my moose in with Copic Markers. I chose my colors based on the colors in the patterned paper.
I hope that you will join the fun and play along with the Dare 2B Artzy October Challenge. Post your projects using the link at the bottom of THIS POST to be entered to win the $15 gift certificate.
All the supplies I used to make this card are listed and linked for you below.
