Happy December! A new month means a new Stamp Set of the Month series!
This month's set is Winter Burrow by Trinity Stamps!
You may remember in September I did the Bunny Burrow for my Stamp Set of the Month. I did not make any Christmas cards then because I was waiting for this stamp set to come out!
The first card I am making is a Slimline Surprise card, it's like two cards in one!
You can watch Episode One right here.
If you can not see the video on this screen you can also view it right here.
This card uses the new Slimline Surprise die to make the fun interactive element.
See the little bow of twine? When you pull that back you get this....
Two new panels to play with. I chose to do all scenes but you can do anything there. For example, I used this die with a snowman die set and put money in for the surprise. Check that card out right here.
I used the Snowfall Layering Stencil set and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink on all my panels for a snowy scene.
For this left hand panel, which is the mechanism that moves the cad front I added a sentiment using the Scripty Christmas die set. I love that little snow mouse! I needed a little something with my sentiment on this panel and a snow mouse on the hill is perfect!
Isn't it so fun that you pull back the card front and another scene appears! See how it is like two cards in one! The Winter Burrow stamp set is so fun to use to dress up my Bunny Burrow Critters and goes good with the Mouse House and Shoe Sprite stamp sets too!
This interactive die set for slimline cards is so much fun to play with. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing a creation with it and all the fun I had using the Winter Burrow stamp set.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make today's card.
