Welcome back to my blog. Today I am making two Shadow Box Cards. It's Slimline vs. Mini shadow box cards.
And it's all for Episode 3 of my February Stamp Set of the Month series. If you missed Episode One and Two, this month's stamp set is Feeling Froggy by Sunny Studio.
I am using two Shadow Box die sets for today's video. The first is the Slimline Shadow Box die set from Scrappy Tails and the second is the Shadow Box Die set by Lawn Fawn to make the mini Shadow Box.
So, watch and let me know which one is your fave.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it right here.
If you missed the first two Episodes you can catch up right here:
Episode One - Mini Slimline scene building
Episode Two - Feeling Interactive
Now let me show you my Slimline Shadow Box card.
This card is fairly easy to put together using the Slimline Shadow Box Die set from Scrappy Tails. Especially after you see it put together.
And then adding in the scene is a matter of planning out your scene and what you want on the different layers of the card. I used a few narrow strips of acetate to adhere images in this scene so that they apart to be floating.
It's much like putting a diorama together, but more fun!
I used both the Feeling Froggy stamp set as well as the Froggy Friends stamp set for the frogs in this scene. I have all the supplies I used to make these cards listed and linked for you below.
Now take a look at the MINI Shadow Box card, made using dies by Lawn Fawn.
The inspiration behind this mini card came from the Rainbow Connection song, sung by Kermit himself.
To understand how a shadow box card goes together it is best to watch it being made, so be sure to check out the video for these cards.
And when you are there watching the video be sure to comment on which one is your fave. Then you will be entered to win the Slimline Pennant die set by Sunny Studio!
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make these cards.
