In today's video I am collaborating with Steph Williams of Whirled of Papercraft.
She is a Cricut user, she love using her electronic cutter in her paper crafting projects. I am a Cameo Silhouette user and love using it in my paper crafting projects. So, we thought we'd challenge each other and see who does it best.
Steph picked out a digital cut file that is a Triangle Top Box. We are both going to use our electronic cutters to make a project with this box.
I purchased my cut file from the Silhouette Design Store. The file is called Tall Pyramid Top Box (#21144).
I decided to go with an Easter theme for my boxes.
I used a second cut file for my project, the Bunny. I love this shape so much, it is much like a die I use to have to make these adorable chocolate holders. You can find this digital file in the Silhouette Design Store by searching Bunny (#16784).
Now let's watch the making of these boxes.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can view it right here.
Now you should check out what Steph made with her Triangle Top Box using the Cricut in her video.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies used to make these boxes.
Then search Tall Pyramid Top Box #21144 for the Box and Bunny #16784 for the bunny shape.

Hello Friends! What is your favorite medium to color with? Are you an alcohol marker user? Do you love water brush pens? Or how about colored pencils?
Today I am coloring in the same image with all three of these mediums. It seems to me that images of hands are very popular in the stamp industry right now. So, I thought I'd share my favorite stamp set of hands, Happy Together from the Not 2 Shabby shop, and show my 3 favorite coloring mediums and make 3 cards. Sounds fun right???
Watch the fun right here...
If you can not see the video on this screen you can also watch it right here.
The first medium I used is Copic Markers, my go to and favorite coloring medium right now.
I stamped my image on Accent Opaque Super Smooth 80lb. White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
For the hand on the right I used the following markers:
E27, E25, E25
For the hand on the left I used:
E35, E33
The purpose of today's post is not to share expert tips on coloring techniques. I do not claim to be an expert at coloring. I just love to color. I love to use and try different things. I wanted to share with you how this image looks colored 3 different ways. And I want to encourage you to just play and have fun with your coloring. You do not have to be an expert to enjoy coloring with any of these mediums.
For each of my cards I used the Frosted and Tufted paper pad from Not 2 Shabby to pick a background paper that I liked for each of the colored hands. This one has a Swiss dots pattern on light pink. I then used my Conversation Hearts stencil from Lawn Fawn to stencil on some Glitz Glitter Gel love the top fo that. This made for a fun background on each of the cards.
For my second card I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
These are a waterbed marker with a brush tip, These markers blend with each other and with water.
I used Bristol Smooth paper and Versafine Onyx Black ink.
For the right on the left I used the following markers:
Dark Brown #062
Mid Brown #065
For the hand on the left I used:
Oatmeal #064
Natural Beige #107
If I was to redo on of set of hands it would be this one. The two dark browns I used had different under tones. One being more of a pink undertone and the other yellow. So I did not get the blend I was hoping for and so I kept trying to fix it by adding more. I feel okay with how it turned out but would be happy to give it another go.
To cut out the hands and sentiments for these cards I used my Pix Scan Mat and my Cameo Silhouette. I have a quick tutorial of this in the video if you are interested.
For my third cards I pulled out my Arteza Colored Pencils.
I used Accent Opaque Super Smooth White card stock and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The pencils I used for the hand on the right are:
Dark Chocolate #A118
Sienna Brown #A048
The pencils I used for the hand on the left are:
Burnt Ochre #A113
Peaches & Cream #A022
The Glitz Glitter Gel really shows up on this dark brown patterned paper. In some lights is reflects a little green.
I really love how the colored pencil looks. I don't color with them as much as I used to. How about you, do you use colored pencils or markers more?
Here is a look at all three cards together. I would love to know which of the three you like best. I enjoyed coloring all of them and finding so many different skin tones to bring to life.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make today's cards.

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am making two Shadow Box Cards. It's Slimline vs. Mini shadow box cards.
And it's all for Episode 3 of my February Stamp Set of the Month series. If you missed Episode One and Two, this month's stamp set is Feeling Froggy by Sunny Studio.
I am using two Shadow Box die sets for today's video. The first is the Slimline Shadow Box die set from Scrappy Tails and the second is the Shadow Box Die set by Lawn Fawn to make the mini Shadow Box.
So, watch and let me know which one is your fave.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it right here.
If you missed the first two Episodes you can catch up right here:
And then adding in the scene is a matter of planning out your scene and what you want on the different layers of the card. I used a few narrow strips of acetate to adhere images in this scene so that they apart to be floating.
It's much like putting a diorama together, but more fun!
I used both the Feeling Froggy stamp set as well as the Froggy Friends stamp set for the frogs in this scene. I have all the supplies I used to make these cards listed and linked for you below.
Now take a look at the MINI Shadow Box card, made using dies by Lawn Fawn.
And when you are there watching the video be sure to comment on which one is your fave. Then you will be entered to win the Slimline Pennant die set by Sunny Studio!
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make these cards.

Today's post is not a card, that is crazy, right! Today I am sharing a video with storage solutions for all the slimline products I have been collecting. I thought you might find some of these solutions helpful too.
I found the products in stores that we all should have access to in the US and very affordable.
See all of my Slimline Storage Solutions in this video:
If you can not see the video on this screen you can also view it right here.
Several of the items I found for storage are from the Dollar Tree.
This time of year is perfect for finding storage solutions at Dollar Tree. I found a basket that is perfect for slimline products such as, dies, paper, envelopes, stencils and stamps.
This baskets from Dollar Tree measure: 11-7/8" L x 3" W x 4-5/8" H. The product line is called Essentials.
Here you can see the Dollar Tree basket sitting on my shelf filled with cards. I can fit about 18-20 cards in this basket. Keep in mind that the cards I make are often very thick. I love to make shaker cards. So you could possibly fit more card than this in the basket.
NOTE: Baskets at Dollar Tree can go fast and then be hard to find. You can order from Dollar Tree online. But, you will have to order in a larger quantity than you may like. Like a quantity of 24. If you choose to go that route maybe you have a friend or two you could split the order with.
Right now the Easter products are coming out and they will have these baskets in some fun pastel colors.
Now let's take a look at the basket I found at Target.
This basket is slightly larger, from the Room Essentials collection, and measures: 13-1/2" L x 5-7/8" W x 5-1/4" H.
Here you can see that I can fit about 24 cards into this basket.
I also like these baskets for storing my slimline die sets.
I also have slimline stencils and die sets in here. In the back I have the Slimline Envelope Builder die set from Trinity Stamps that comes in huge packaging. I love that it fits in here too.
In the Dollar Tree basket I am also going to store my slimline paper pads.
Now let's take a look at some slimline storage envelopes.
First up a great find at the Dollar Tree again. Check out these File Folder style envelopes.
Inside are 6 divided pockets that fit slimline dies PERFECTLY!
AND it comes with label sticker to label each tab on the divided sections.... FOR A DOLLAR!
This is where I am keeping my slimline cover plates or slimline dies that are one piece. In this envelope I have only dies from Trinity Stamps.
The second storage envelope I want to share with you is sold at an Etsy Shop owned by my friend Neha, Craft Supplies by CC.
These envelopes are 9-1/2" L x 4" W. The come 5 to a pack for $8. Great deal. I have used mine two ways, with a chipboard insert with magnet sheet on them. Or with out. This storage envelope had a closure flap that is held shut with an interlocking flap. So I feel secure with out an magnet sheet when the other pieces in the set are not tiny in these envelopes.
Here is a closer look at these storage envelopes. You can see I have added a label to this using a favorite Dollar Tree find. These are adhesive labels.
I use the labels on all kinds of storage containers in my stamp room as well.
AND GUESS WHAT. These storage envelopes and file folders fit in the baskets!
I hope you found these storage solutions for slimline products helpful!

On this hop you will see all kinds of inspiration using the club kits from the month of February. We hope to inspire you and give you some ideas to use with your kits if you are already a club kit subscriber.
If you are not already a club kit subscriber then you should know Spellbinders has SIX club kit offerings:
There are also several bundles and value clubs you can subscribe to if you want more than one kit of the month for and added saving. Check out all the kits and bundles HERE.
I have a video for you so you can see these kits in action and watch my slimline card and cupcake topper being made.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it right here.
Now let's take a closer look at the card I made.
This slimline card measures; 8-1/2" x 7" scored at 3-1/2". The card front layer in white is 8-1/4" x 3-1/4".
Birthday Wishes for Everyone die set.
The sentiment on this card was made using the Large Die of the Month kit - Birthday Wishes for Everyone. It is a die set of large chunky numbers and it has a die that cuts out the word " Happy", which I also used on this card in black card stock. This set also has the "st", "th", "rd" and "nd" images in different styles.
If you'd like to see another card made with this die set check out my video HERE. And see how I used the long strait die in this set.
I brought in a Glimmer Hot Foil set, Special Months, to add in the word "February". It is hot foiled in black foil on red card stock.
Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials
I used the third rectangle from the smallest, that measures about 2-1/2" x 3-3/4", from the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the month to make two rectangles on my slimline card base. Again I used black foil for my hot foiling. You can see this months Glimmer Hot Foil set in its entirety right here.
There are nine Glimmer Hot Foil plates in this set. Six scalloped frames and 3 sentiments. Here are the approximate sizes of each rectangle in this set.
Large: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Large mat: 3-3/8" x 4-3/8"
Medium: 2-7/8" x 4-1/8"
Medium Mat: 2-3/8" x 3-3/8"
Small: 1-7/8" x 3-1/8"
Small Mat: 1-3/8" x 2-3/8"
Two things you should know about the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the month; one - when you get this kit of the month it not only comes with a Glimmer Hot Foil plate set, but it also comes with a roll of foil, two - when you start your Glimmer Hot Foil kit of the month, your first month you are eligible to get the Glimmer Hot Foil system at 10% off. Find out more about this right here. The foil that comes with this months kit is my FAVORITE, it is Aura. Aura foil is gold with an iridescent finish.
If you'd like to see some more ideas with this Glimmer Hot Foil set, check out this video where I made a shaker card and shaker tag with this set.
I used this new die set for the bottom square on my card. I think the pink cheeks, bow tie and LUV U sign make him so cute. But the fact that you can make his legs swing back and forth like he is dancing makes this card so fun!
There are 15 dies in this set. Some of the pieces are grouped together on one die.
The largest heart is approximately 2-1/8" x 1-7/8".
Several of the dies in this set etch the die cut pieces. Like the smile on the face, it is a cut line. The eyes are pressed into the paper. I love the detail this gives the finished piece.
Also there is a piece that you die cut as mechanism. It is the rounded piece with a hole in it. You use this to attach the legs to. In the hole goes a mini foam square. So this piece does not get adhered down, but sandwiched between the paper you stick the foam square too and the paper you stick on top of the foam square, which would be the heart. Now the legs can swing back and forth, making it and interactive, dancing heart! I show you how to put it together in today's video.
This die set has enough pieces that you can change up the look of this dancing heart. I thought it was so cute I just had to make another with a different look. So I decided to make another one for a cupcake topper.
To give this dancer a different look I die cut the face with pink card stock and gave her red cheeks. The bow tie now becomes a hair bow. I added freckles to the cheeks with a white gel pen as well as a white highlight to the eyes. Instead of holding a sign she is holding the flower from this die set. I put her on top of a paper straw, which can be cut down to fit on top of a cupcake.
Be sure to watch the video to see how I put this together. And on the back of the heart I added "be mine", die cut from this same set.
I had so much fun putting these projects together with all these fun new products from Spellbinders.
I hope you are inspired. And the inspiration does not end here! Now it is time to hop along and see what Bibi Cameron has made with this month's kits. She always has so much cool things to share, so be sure to check it out.
Remember to comment along the hop for more chances to win a $50 Shopping Spree to the Spellbinders Shop.
If you get lost on the hop here is the entire hop line up. Enjoy the fun and give some love to each designer as you go. And don't miss stopping by the Spellbinders Blog to be entered into the giveaway.

Hello! Today's post is a little different. It is not a card. I am collaborating with my friend Jen Hartsgrove of Katahdin Krafts. We are both making over a wooden sign from the Dollar Tree to hang in our craft rooms. I really needed something I could hang on the door to my craft room year round. When I say NEED, it is because I have a hook there that I hand seasonal decor. But sometimes a snowman hangs there past his melting point and sometimes the door is naked with just a hook. So, you see the need, right!?! So the inspiration behind this was to fill that need and have something that inspires me as I enter my studio.
We both have a video of our creations, so when you are done watching mine click the link below to watch Jen's video.
If you can not see my video on the screen, you can also view it right here.
Here you can see the sign hanging on my door, greeting me and reminding me to have fun while creating.
I think it is a great welcoming piece to for when I have guests in the studio.
Now let's take a look at the original sign, so you can see what I started with.
This is what the sign looked like right from Dollar Tree.
This sign is just one 12" long and about 11" at it's widest point.
I started by sanding the glitter off the original sign.
Then I traced each section of the sign onto some patterned paper. The patten I choose is from the paper pack, Good Life from Spellbinders. It had a white washed wood look. I cut out the pieces and glued them to the sign using Tombow Aqua Liquid Glue. You could also use Modge Podge, which they do sell at Dollar Tree.
To give the paper a cleaner look I sanded the edges. This helps form the paper to the shape of the heart and it looks like the paper was always there.
For more of a distressed look I used Vintage Photo Distress ink around the edges of the heart. I just took the pad direct to the paper and swiped it where I wanted ink.
Next, I added my letters, cut using my Cameo Silhouette, to say Happy Stamping. The font I used is called LW Perfect Print. I added them by spreading another layer of the Tombow Aqua Glue over the front and paper covered sign. This glue dries completely clear with a matte finish. So, you would never know it was there. I can not even see brush strokes when it dries!
I also brushed a third layer of the glue over the top of the letters to help secure them into place.
The flower at the top of the sign was a gift from my friend Becky Roberts. She made it for me to wear to a special event at Fun Stampers Journey a few years ago. I saved it and thought it would be perfect for this sign. The die that she used to cut out the flowers is retired. But you can find digital cut files to make 3D flowers like this. I saw several in the Silhouette Design Store.
I also removed the red ribbon connecting the pieces of the heart together and used a ribbon, Cool Pool Satin Ribbon, that would match the colors I wanted on my sign. I attached it to the back using double stick tape, linked below, from Dollar Tree. Then I glue down some chipboard over the top of that to secure it in place.
That finishes up my newest craft room decor piece. I am very happy with it. I only used supplies I had on hand to decorate this sign, so I spent just $1 to create this piece.
If you do not have a Dollar Tree near you, you can shop Dollar Tree online. Note that some products are only available to purchase in larger quantities. Great to share with friends.
Below are all the supplies I used to make today project. (The sign is not listed as it was a seasonal wooden sign, but the St. Partick's Day and Easter decor is out at Dollar Tree and you could find other wooden signs to alter).

In this episode I'm creating two interactive cards. It's a bit of a mash up of Sunny Studio products and Lawn Fawn products.
The first card is a Snow Globe Magic Iris card and the second is a Flippin Awesome card. I love giving interactive cards and seeing the WOW look on people's faces when they discover the fun element to their card.
Let's watch these cards being made.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it right here. You will want to click over the YouTube and leave a comment there to be entered into the Giveaway! I am giving away the Slimline Banners die set at the end of this series. All you have to do is comment on each of the four episodes this month to be entered. The winner will be announced on Episode One of my March Stamp Set of the Month series (3/2/21).
The first card is a Snow Globe Magic Iris card. I was inspired by a Lawn Fawn video where Mindy Egan made a unicorn snow globe. So, I made a mermaid snow globe, see that video HERE if you missed it. And now I want to make a snow globe for every cute thing! So why not a froggy snowglobe?!?
I love the colors on this card. I wanted that just about sunset look for this sky. I used three colors of ink from Concord & 9th to ink blend my background with the help of the Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn. The colors I used are; Buttercup, Sorbet and Poppy.
I also splattered the background with some Metallic watercolors from Altenew.
Another part of this card that I love is the base of the snowglobe, I colored it with Copic Markers to have the look of wood. I show you how in the video above. As well has how I put this card, including the Magic Iris, together.
Now let's take a look at the Flippin Awesome Froggie card.
The Flippin Awesome die set makes me so happy! I use to make cards like this with a lot of cutting and scoring. This die set now does all that work for me! And making 4 little scenes to flip through on my cards is so fun.
Watch and I pull the tab and each picture changes slightly.
You can see this card in action and how to recreate it in today's video.
If you missed Episode One, Feeling Froggie Mini Slimline Cards, you can catch it right here.
Below I have listed and linked all the products I used to make today's cards.

Happy Sunday! And Happy Super Bowl Sunday for those of you who are into football.
Today I am sharing two cards I made using a new product line from Spellbinders. It is the Celestial Zodiac line. There are stencils, dies, glimmer hot foil plates and stamps in this new line. I was so excited to try out the new Layered Full Moon stencil set. I knew I wanted to make some galaxy backgrounds to go with my moon. I also got two of the Zodiac Glimmer Hot Foil plate sets, Leo and Sagittarius.
Let's take a look at the two cards I made and then I will break down how I created them.
For each card I used one color of distress oxide ink along with Black Soot Distress Oxide to mark the galaxy background.
For the Leo card I used Fossilized Amber.
I start with a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and ink blend splotches of Fossilized Amber ink on to the 4" x 5-1/4" panel. Then I fill in all the white spaces with Black Soot. I spritz this with water to create the first layer of splatter. Once that I dry I add more splatter with metallic watercolor, white acrylic paint and Black Licorice Silk. The final touch it to use Black Soot Distress ink around all the edges of the panel.
For the moon I used the Layered Full Moon Stencil set and the Pocket Full of Sunshine ink pad collection. It is a set of 4 yellow ink pads that go from a very light yellow to a dark yellow. Perfect for a 4 step stencil set.
I finished up this card by adding hot foiled pieces from the Leo Glimmer Hot Foil Plate set. I put the constellation right on the moon with black foil. For both of the word panels I use Aura foil.
For the Sagittarius card I used Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink for my Galaxy ink, using the stamp steps I used for the first card.
For the moon, I did not have the right colors to make a green moon that would coordinate so I went for more of a teal moon. I used the Sweet Dreams ink pad set from Altenew for this moon. I glimmer hot foiled the constellation for Sagittarius over the top of the moon with black foil.
Again, I used Aura foil for the wording on this card, it is my favorite foil! It is gold with an iridescent finish.
Watch for a video of the making of these cards on my YouTube channel soon!

Hello there my stamping friends. Today I am sharing a YouTube hop I am participating in with some other crafty YouTubers to bring awareness to eating disorders.
We are hoping that by talking about it and showing our support it can break down some barriers and make it easier to talk about eating disorders. And when things are easier to talk about it helps people find the path to recovery a little easier too.
We all chose to create projects using purple, another way to show our support of those facing or who have faced an eating disorder.
Our hope is that you will watch and share the videos in this hop so that you too can help open up the dialog about eating disorders and we can all be a small part of bringing awareness. If you want to find out more about how someone can get help for an eating disorder read to the bottom of this post. There you will also find the details on the GIVEAWAYS for this hop.
Now I would like to share the card I created for this hop. Watch it being made in this video:
The next stop on this hop is Lauren Taylor, even though my video says Ashley (oops). Lauren is my friend and makes great cards, I know you are going to love her creation for this hop, check it out right here. And you will get to see Ashley's creation too if you continue on the hop.
Now let's take a closer look at my Mermaid Magic Iris Snowglobe card.
When planning to make a card with purple I decided that would be the perfect color to use with a mermaid. Then I saw a Lawn Fawn video by Mindy Egan where she made a snow globe card with a unicorn. That gave me the idea to use the snow globe for my mermaid card!
Here you can see the snow globe closed. I imagine it is a lost treasure fallen to the bottom of the sea.
I am in love with the glitter paper accenting this snow globe, it is a scrap left over from a piece a friend gifted me. I wish I could link it for you. It is a dark gray with a purple under tone. It is perfect for this card.
The ink blending on this card was done with Dusty Concord and Broken China. I used this color combo on the background, the outside of the snow globe and on the moving parts of the Magic Iris.
Also on the background I used the Snowy Sky stencil and Glacier paste from Nuvo for the look of bubbles. I turned out super cool, but most of it was covered up by the snow globe.
I used several Lawn Fawn stamp sets for all the accents on this card, they are all listed and linked for you below. And make sure to watch the video to see how to put together a Magic Iris for a Snow Globe.
Candice is giving away a bunch of awesome prizes (including giftcards to some of your favorite crafty stores!) to random commenters along the hop! The more stops you comment on, the better your chances! She is drawing the winners on February 13th, 2021 and will announce them on her Youtube and Instagram (@candoodlecreations). See Candice’s video descriptionfor ALL the details.
And if you get lost on the hop or want more information on the giveaway or EDAW visit our host, Candice, right here: https://youtu.be/t_LNfbcLyrI
If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, support, resources, and help are available.
What are eating disorders and how do they develop?
Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses with physical manifestations. A number of factors can contribute to the development of an eating disorder, including genetics, mental health, and cultural factors. While eating disorders are serious and can have life-threatening complications, they are also treatable illnesses.
How do I know if I have an ED?
If the way you eat and think about food interferes with your life and keeps you from enjoying life and moving forward, you may be experiencing disordered eating. Take it seriously and talk to someone who can help, this may be your primary care provider, or one of the helplines above.
Thank you so much for stopping by and helping us open up a dialog about eating disorders.

Happy Saturday! I love Saturday because that means I get to share another creation with Trinity Stamps products.
This week I am finally creating a project that has been in my head for a while. I am making plaid backgrounds using the Slimline Stitched Strips Die Set.
To make the plaid background I used three shades of pink card stock. I used the Hip to Be Square die as my base and then layered on stitched strips in the open squares going vertically. Then I added some horizontal strips die cut from a light pink card stock in different size strips.
Then I just added the cute gnome colored in pink and gray. As well as one of the sentiments from that stamp set.
I love the plaid peeking out in the heart windows of this card. I used the two smallest stitched strips from the Stitched Strips die set for this card.
Beside the plaid, my other favorite thing on this cards is the glitter covering the card front. I use Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel.
The glitter in this gel is different sizes and so shiny. And the gel dries clear, it's gorgeous.
I loved making my own plaid background with the Stitched Strips die set. I am ready to go make more and play with different color combinations and different strip sizes. Also, being that this die set is slimline, you can make plaid with them on any size card!

Hello and welcome back. It is time for Episode 1 of my February Stamp Set of the Month! This month I am using stamps and dies from a company I have never used before. I have always like their images and found one I could not live without. This company is Sunny Studio.
The stamp set I chose of theirs to spotlight this month is Feeling Froggy.
I will also be using several other stamps and dies from Sunny Studio as well. You can see my entire haul in this episode.
In today's episode I am creating scenes on Mini Slimline Cards (6" x 3").
So, let's jump right in and watch Episode 1 of my Feeling Froggy series.
Isn't this just the perfect little spot for a frog to live?
The scene for this card is set by the County Scene stamp and die set. The stamps are made to fit a card as wide as 5-1/2", making a great set to use on a Mini Slimline card. My card front is 2-1/2" x 5-1/2". The layer that it is one, the light blue card stock is 5-3/4" x 2-2/4", the bottom was die cut with one of the Slimline Basic Borders die set. The card itself is a 6" x 6" piece of card stock, scored at 3".
For my second card I wanted to create more of a park like scene.
All the supplies I used to make this card are listed and linked for you below.

So first up let's look at the Large Die of the Month, this is a set of 14 Dies. It is the Birthday Wishes For Everyone Die Set. I love the chunky numbers in this set. You can use it to make cards that say "Happy 50th", or any number inserted there.
I thought it would be fun to make a valentines day card with this set, using the numbers 24/7. So let's take a look at this die set in action and see the card I made.
Did you love seeing me make my own glitter paper for this card. It was only a little messy but I love how it turned out and that I did not have to use a 8-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of glitter paper to back my heart panel.
Here's a good look at my 24/7 slimline card.
I added some stamping to the numbers using the Lots of Love mini background stamp. I love the look of the heart embossed with clear powder on these chunky numbers.
The background of this card is made using the Slimline Kaleidoscope Heart die set, which was the Large Die of the Month kit for January 2021, it may be come available for purchase from the Spellbinders shop in the next mont or so.
The letters I used to spell out "love you" are also a previous Large Die of the Month kit, How Does Your Garden Grow Alphabet. They are available for purchase now in the Spellbinders shop.
To make my own glitter paper to back the slimline Kaleidoscope heart die cut panel. I use a White Liner Sheet. It is double stick adhesive sheets that at 8-1/2" x 11". I cut a piece to 8-1/2" 3-1/2" and backed my die cut panel with it. Then I sprinkled glitter on to that and used my finger to rub it into the adhesive. Then I removed the backing to the white liner sheet and backed it with a piece of white card stock. It took a lot less glitter than you would think to cover this. And I am glad I did not have to use such a big piece of glitter paper.
GLIMMER HOT FOIL KIT OF THE MONTH
Now let's take a look at the Glimmer Hot Foil kit of the Month. This months kit is called Scalloped Rectangle Glimmer Essentials with Sentiments. There are 9 plates in this set and no dies. In this kit a roll of Aura foil is included. That is one of my all time favorite foil colors! It is gold with an iridescent finish.
Look at those 6 layering rectangle with a scalloped edge. These are so pretty when foiled, you are going to love them!
Watch this video to see these plates in action and the shaker card and shaker tag I make with them.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it right here.
I also made a shaker gift tag to go with this card using the second to smallest plate in this set.
For the background on this tag I used a plate that is retired that looks like a waffle cone pattern. I have linked some paper below that look like waffle cone that would make a perfect substitution for this.
If you are a new Glimmer Hot Foil Club Kit member you can get 10% the Glimmer Hot Foil system.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make these projects. I have included all the Spellbinders Club Kits as well as the kit bundles that are offered, incase you too want to receive more than one kit. Bundling is a nice way to go for a bit of savings.
