Hello my stamping friends!
I love sharing the new club kits from Spellbinders with you each month. Today I am sharing TWO club kits. The Glimmer Kit of the Month as well as the Clear Stamp of the Month for March 2021! The Glimmer Kit of the Month is a great set of 5 sentiments and comes with a roll of Rose Gold foil. Such a great color for spring. The Clear Stamp of the moth is a spring stamp set called Wonderful Spring. This set has 11 images in the set, including 4 sentiments. I paired these two kits together to make 3 cards that I think have a shabby chic feel to them.
I pulled out of my favorite mediums to play with to create backgrounds for these cards, PanPastels.
Take a look with me at these cards being made.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can view it right here.
Here is a close up look at each of the three cards.
I used PanPastels over the top of images stamped with Versamark Ink. I just love the soft look this gives the background.
I added my Glimmer Hot Foiled sentiments from the Let Your Sentiments Shine set on to egg shapes. Ovals would work great for these cards as well. I used a peach card stock and I love how well it looks with the Rose Gold foil. To add to the egg look I splattered Peaches and Cream Silk over the top of the hot foiled sentiment.
I added one of the bunnies from the stamp set to each of the three cards. I stamped the bunnies with brown ink and embossed with with clear powder. Then I water colored the bunnies for a soft vintage feel. I added a few of the small flower stamps around the bunny to bring in more of the peach to the cards.
And for some embellishment I added some peach sequins I had on hand.
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make these cards.
