Hello my stamping friends today I am spotlighting the July 2021 Large Die of the Month kit from Spellbinders. This months die set has 16 pieces in it! It die cuts a Mini Slimline Envelope box. It has 7 nesting dies with decorative edges for making Mini Slimline cards. There is a Happy Birthday sentiment and 5 dies that cut florals, most of which cut more than one floral! It's pretty awesome and I am in love with this months kit!
And as a bonus, this die set coordinates with the Glimmer Kit of the Month for July as well! If you are into Hot Foiling stay tuned I will be sharing that kit tomorrow! It makes dotted frames on slimline panels!!! Fun!

Isn't that die set so super cool! It's really like 3 die sets in one!
Now I want to share some close up pics of the card I made.
Do you notice the white embossed stamping in the background? That is with the Clear Stamp Set of the Month, Sending Floral Wishes. It is gorgeous!
I used FIVE of the layering dies on this card and a bunch of foam squares to give this card a lot of dimension. That is because this envelope is a thick envelope that almost creates a box for your card. So make that baby with lots of popped up layers! The nesting layer dies in this set all have decorative edges, the alternate between a dot and dash pattern to a scalloped pattern. I have to say, the scalloped on these die cuts are special, they have some line detailing that is so dainty and pretty! I love that Spellbinders is always putting details like that in their dies!
That detailing on the scallops shows up so nicely on the gold layer. The smallest layering die in this set can be used with the Happy Birthday Die to make a rectangular sentiment that fits on the smallest scalloped rectangle perfectly!
And what do you think about the florals? There are only 3 flower dies, but each of those dies cuts out 3-4 pieces, making for a lot of choices when layering up your flowers. There are also two leaf dies that cut a total of 4 leaves.
