Hey there my stamping friends. Today I got to do a LIVE demonstration on the Trinity Stamps Instagram.
I shared a 5" x 7" card featuring Sunshine and Rainbows. If you missed that video you can watch it right HERE.
While you are there be sure to follow Trinity Stamps, I will be doing LIVE demonstrations there every other week.
The card I made features the new stamp designed by Love Dani Studios for the latest Trinity Stamps release, Sending Sunshine.
This card all started with the Sending Sunshine image. When I read it I want to add on the words "and Rainbows". So, I decided to create a card with a rainbow on it. And since I am a matchy matchy girl I decided to have my rainbow match the colors I chose for the background and the image.
For the background I used Distress Oxide ink in Fossilized Amber and Abandoned Coral. I added some clouds with the same colors of ink using the Puffy Clouds stencil. And a bit of splatter to give it some dimension. There are actually 3 layers of splatter, the first is with water, the second with white acrylic paint and the third with gold metallic watercolor. This gives the background a sense of depth and I just love splatter!
I used COPIC Markers to color in my image. The letters are so much fun to color in with more than one color.
Here are the colors I used on the letters, top to bottom: Y15, Y17, YR04, R22, R21
For the mail box I used cool grays; C8, C6, C4, C2 and for the stand I used E33 and E35.
The rainbow die cut I used is from the Rainbow Funshine die set. The die cuts out all 6 bows of the rainbow at once. I then colored in the bows of the rainbow with the same COPIC Markers that I used to color in my image. I thought it was so fun to do a rainbow in non-traditional colors. I am very happy with how this whole card came together. The fun little details are the gold sunshine with the fun smiley face. And the gold glitter hearts make me smile. And last but not least the rhinestones are just gorgeous. I linked all the new rhinestones from Trinity Stamps for you below, they are just so very yummy, take a look at all the colors to choose from. But really, why choose, I didn't! hehehehe.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by and visit me!
