Hello there stamping friends, I am back with more creations using the All Aboard Kit from Spellbinders. I previously used this kit to make twenty one A2 sized cards. If you missed that you can check it out in this video. When making those cards I did not use the die set that comes in this kit, the train die set. So, today's projects focus on the train.
You can see this card and tag come together in this video.
This train is pretty easy to put together as the die creates scored lines in the train indicating where the layering elements go. And the kit comes with an idea sheet that shows you each piece put together and it is very helpful.
All the paper I used to make this card is from the kit. Instead of using red card stock I used the red glitter card stock for some added interest. Each train car has a different color and is holding something different. This die set comes with dies to make ornaments, presents and trees.
For the background I added a bit of Broken China distress oxide ink around the edge of my light blue card stock panel. Then I added three layers of splatter. First, a mist of water, then white acrylic paint and last Sparkle Silk. When all the was dry I stamped the snowflake image from the kit in Chipped Sapphire ink to complete the snowy scene.
I had enough left over train elements that I decided to make a coordinating gift tag. This time I decided to go for a white train. You can have so much fun with this die set making different color trains, and it is good beyond the Christmas season too.
If you are wondering about the realistic snow I added to my projects it is the Snowfall Grit Paste from Tim Holtz latest Ranger release. It was a limited edition product, so if you are reading this and this product is no longer available you can use white or translucent grit paste and add glitter to it for a similar look.
Thank you so much for stopping by! If you want to see what all comes in this amazing All Aboard Kit, I have a complete unboxing video right HERE you can check out.

Hey there my stamping friends, welcome back. Thank you for stopping by to visit me!
Today I am sharing a card that was super fun to make. I love making my own backgrounds and today's backgrounds is layers of ink, die cutting, stenciling and stamping to create a background with depth and a lot of visual interest.
This background started with a 8-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Bristol Smooth card stock. I inked it up using Distress Oxide inks; Prize Ribbon, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed.
Of course I spritzed this panel with water after ink blending to pick up a bit of that color and add those yummy delish water drops. Adding to that splatter I pulled out the Broomstick Distress Mica Stain Spray. It added a layer of shimmer that is yellow, but also golden.
Next I used the Stitched Swirling Winds die, it cuts stitched lines in swirls right into the paper.
What a cool die that you can really use for so many things!!! I love it.
The next layer is the stenciling. I used the Seasonal Winds stencil and a wet baby wipe to pick up the color of the Distress ink where the stencil was laid. It's is a subtle layer that made is easy for me to add my next layer of stamping.
It's very subtle, but next, I stamped the largest stamp of swirling leaves over the top of my background in Versamark ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder. This completed my background.
Then it was time to make my leaves. I used my MISTI so that I could stamp the leaves several times in different colors. I first inked the leaves up a little bit with the Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink, spritzed my stamp lightly and stamped it down on watercolor paper. Then I inked the same stamp up with Spiced Marmalade, spritzed it with water, and stamped it right over the top of what I already stamped. And repeated that again, this time using the Prize Ribbon ink. Then, for the last step, I stamped the image again with Versamark ink, so that I could emboss the leaves with clear powder. Once the leaves were done, I was able to die cut them all out and adhere them to my card.
The sentiment is from the Beautiful Breeze stamp set. Each word is it's own stamp and has a coordinating die. I added extra die cuts under the words to help pop them up.
Of course I can not leave out a layer of bling! So, I added rhinestones in yellow, orange and blue. This card front was then mounted to a slimline card base that is 8-1/2" x 7", scored at 3-1/2". All the things I used are linked for you below. If you are looking for the Distress Mica Spray Stains be sure to check out the Ranger website.
Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share my creation with you!

Hello there! I am back sharing another card kit. This month I have been sharing a different card kit each week. My hope is to give you ideas not only with that kit, but tips on how to use any card kit that you might have. Last week I shared the All Aboard Kit from Spellbinders. If you missed that video you can watch it here. That kit is SO full of ephemera and embellishments and that was my focus playing with that kit. I also gave my self a few goals, to make simple cards and to make about 20 cards. You'll have to watch to see how that turned out.
This week I went a completely different route. And I have a few more tips for you for making with kits. This week's kit is from Not 2 Shabby. It is the Lovely Fall Kit, the Box of the Month for September 2021. Every month Not 2 Shabby does a different box, you can subscribe and get is sent to you automatically each month. Some of the kit contents are also sold separately. These kits are very popular and usually sell out each month. I did not go quick and easy on these cards, I just had fun playing and ended up creating 8 cards!
Check out this video for all the insights and the making of these 8 card!
Did you catch all my tips in this video for creating with kits?
Let me recap them for you here, because if you are like me, you card kits can start to pile up and get forgotten.
My first tip is the set a date to create! I set aside a Saturday afternoon to play and create with this Lovely Fall kit. And I was looking forward to breaking it out and knowing I was going to do that the ideas started forming in my head.
Another problem that happens with kits is that there is so much in them that you don't know where to start.
To help with that I have 2 tips for you.
One, stamp out all the images. I even like to stamp them out a few times while I am at it. Then color them up. As you are doing this the creative juices start flowing and idea may come to you about what images you'd like to pair up on a card.
Second, play with the special thing in the kit. This kit comes with the Knit Diamond stencil, something special to pull out and just play with. Another special thing that might come in a kit is a die set. So, I took out the stencil and made a few backgrounds. NOW, I have stamped and colored images and backgrounds. With all the other fun stuff in this kit I was READY to create.
So now let's take a close up look at each of the cards I made.
Let me just list all the things I love about this card. One, that stamped scene from the Welcome Fall Stamp Set! I was intimidated by it at first, but once I started coloring it, I loved it more and more. Second, I love the Buffalo check! That paper is from the Lovely Fall 6" x 6" paper pack. Next, I love the burlap and Jute cord. Adding texture to my card is one of my favorite things to do. This card measures 6" x 6". Sometimes you just have to go big!
This card features one of the stenciled background I made using Distress Oxide inks. I added a row of the stamped images and a sentiment. The splatter is from the Broomstick and Frosted Juniper Distress Mica Stain Sprays. These are from a limited edition release. If there are any available still you might find them either at Simon Says Stamp, Scrapbook.com or Ranger. As well as the Grave Grit Paste I used on the next card.
Don't you just love that tiered tray image! The set this is from Autumn Vibes has already sold out, but several of the images are in the Ephemera pack. I used the Knit Diamonds stencil and some Grave Grit paste to make this background. And it is just fabulous, so much texture! This card as with 3 others in today's creations are mini slimline. The all measure 5-3/4" x 3".
Who loves squirrels? ME!!! I wanted to keep with my color pallet and make this a pumpkin spice themed card. I stamped the pumpkin image all over the plaid patterned paper, splattered it and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. Once again I added burlap and jute twine to my card for texture.
I loved stamping on the patterned paper, so I did it again on this wood grain panel using Speckled Egg Distress ink and the acorn and leaves stamps. I combined stamped images and ephemera on this one. BUT, my FAVORITE part of this card is the base the elements are sitting on. I masked off the bottom of the card front, added some Grave Grit Paste and then pressed a piece of burlap into it to create texture! It reminds me of the concrete tend in home decor right now.
This card is a full panel shaker, if you have never seen one made before be sure to watch my video. The flowers I added were from my stash and just seemed to go with this card. The circle that my sentiment is mounted on is part of a stenciled background where I used the Knit Diamond Stencil and the Broomstick Distress Mica Stain Spray. LOVE how it turned out.
I wanted to make a card that used ephemera as the focal point of the card and that is this card. I also used another of the backgrounds I made using the Knit Diamond Stencil. After spraying a background with Distress Mica Stain Spray I did not want to waste all the spray on top of the stencil, so I picked it up with a piece of white card stock and it became the background for this card.
And finally a slimline card! The super cool thing about this card is that I spread Journey Glaze all over my ephemera pieces and them sprinkled on some glitter. So when you turn this card in the light it's very pretty.
If you'd like to see all these cards being made you can watch this video.
This kit is currently sold out, but I have listed the products that you can buy individually from this kit below.
Not 2 Shabby also has a Stamp and Die set of the month! The month's set is darling with Scarecrows! You can also subscribe and get the stamp and die of the month automatically. See more about that here.
And starting TOMORROW Not 2 Shabby will have a limited edition kit, Pumpkin Spice!!! Check it out here.

Hello again my crafty friends. Today I was up on the Trinity Stamps Instagram page with a LIVE demonstration. I created a Halloween Nightscape slimline card using some of the newly release halloween products from Trinity Stamps as well as the Halloween Distress release!
Every year I have to make a green and black Halloween scene, with a green sky! And the Nightscapes stamp and die set is the perfect set for this years creation.
To make the green sky on this card I started with the October Sky stencil set and used the mask of the moon on a piece of white card stock. Then I used Mica Stain Sprays to spray the sky. I used both the Bubbling Cauldron and the Holly Branch. After spraying on the stains I also splattered some on using the end of the spray nozzle. For a few darker spots of splatter I added in a little splatter of the Tree Lot Mica Stain Spray. This spray is so very shiny! I love the look of it and that the shine and shimmer is built in to the the color!
After spraying on the night sky, I picked up all the spray that was on top of the moon with a scrap of card stock to save for later use in this card. With the stencil removed there is a giant WHITE moon. So I added a bit of Twisted Citron Distress Oxide in around the outside of the moon to bring down the intensity of the white. I stamped on a few bats from the Nightscape stamp set. AND, add a few die cut clouds from the Nightscape die set in vellum. You should also know the the Nightscape stamp set has images for making a Christmas night sky, a superhero flying over and fireworks. A great set for so many occasions.
For the black layer of the card I stenciled on the trees from the October Sky stencil using the Crypt Grit Paste. It is a stone colored paste with black flecks in it. When it dried, the trees are a bit translucent and make for a great element that does not stand out too much and is just the right amount of spooky! The opening on the card front was made using the new Moonlit Town Cutout Die. It's a great die for all the options in the Nightscape stamp set.
I also used the Empty Tomb spray to splatter on the black for a starry effect. And I could not forget an accessory, so I added a few Glowy Stars, that actually glow in the dark!
Remember that excess mica spray I picked up off of my moon stencil and saved for later? That is what I stamped my witch on. I did not want her to have a white outline and stand out too much from this background, this way she has an outline that matches the background.
The Happy Halloween sentiment I used is from the Shake Your Bones stamp set. I did not use it but the coordinating die set, has a die that bubble cuts this sentiment! So cool!
You can still watch the video of me making this card even if you missed it LIVE. Just visit the Trinity Stamps Instagram page to find it.
I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make this card for you below. Many of the Mica Stains and Pastes from Tim Holtz' holiday release have sold out, I linked what I could find.

Hey there stamping friends. You might already know that I love a shadow box card. I recently purchased the Heffy Doodle Big Shadow Box die set because it is a different size than the other two that I have. This shadow box card is the size of an A2 card when it is laying flat. Another LOVE of mine is shaker cards, so why not combine these two favorite things into one? And then you have a Shadow Box Shaker Card!
I love that you can make a 3D scene with a shaker card, and a squirrel jumping into a pile of leaves to fetch an acorn, that makes for a fun fall scene for this box.
To create the shaker on this card you need to make a shaker box out of two pieces of window sheet. The window sheet size need for this card is 4-1/8" x 3-3/8", cut two of these. Then add very thin foam strips around the outer edge of one window sheet, making sure the end touch so that none of the shaker elements can escape. Once you have the shaker elements on the window sheet, remove the backing from the foam strips and add the second window sheet. This is what you are going to add to the back of the window of the shaker box. You just want to make sure you follow the steps in the video as to when to adhere down what so that the box goes together correctly.
Once you know how to do this you can then decorate you shadow box as you like. I chose to use the Nuts About You stamp set. We have a lot of squirrels in Idaho and they are so busy right now getting all set up for winter, so this card was such a fun card to make.
I used a few new woodland themed products from Heffy Doodle as well on this card.
For my background I used the Falling Leave Stencil and a few Distress Oxide sprays; Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed. I did this on some very light blue card stock for a feel of the sky. I used this on the out side of the card as well.
You can see on these side panels that I added a bit of texture to them with the Woodland Texture Background die. LOVING that die so much!
I added lots of leaves to this card as well. I die cut the Forest Leaves from water color card stock that I sprayed with the same Distress Oxide Sprays as I did for the stenciled background as well as Rusty Hinge. I used this same sprayed paper to die cut tiny leaves from the Tree-Mendous Peek a Boo die set for my shaker elements.
The tree on the front of the card is also from the Tree-Mendous Peek A Boo die set, I love how it frames this card and give me a place to hand the bird feeder.
My favorite part of this card has to be the squirrel who is jumping into the leaves. I added him with a skinny strip of window sheet that is attached to the bridge of leaves with a glue dot and then to the back of the squirrel with a glue dot. This makes him appear as if he is actually jumping in to the leaves. What a fun fall card this was to make. I hope that you have a moment to watch the video and see it all come together.
If you are interested in the supplies I used I have them listed and linked for you below.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to visit me and let me share my creation with you!

Hello! This month I am doing something a little different than my usual Stamp Set of the Month. Each week I will be featuring a different card kit and making cards with that kit. This week I am featuring the All Aboard Kit from Spellbinders. This is a GIANT kit. You can see my unboxing of this kit right here. It has card stock a 6" x 6" patterned paper pack, glitter paper, ephemera packs, tags, chipboard stickers, glitter stickers, foam stickers, alphabet stickers, rhinestones, sequins, twine, foam squares, sticky tape, card bases, envelopes, a stamp set, and a die set! It really is a TON of goodies.
There are 25, A2 card bases in this kit and I really wanted to make 25 cards, but ended up shooting for 20, as there are 20 patterns of paper in the paper pad. But in the end I made 21 cards as I made one card with NO patterned paper on it. I also wanted to make quick and easy cards with this kit, as that was the only way I would get twenty some cards done.
Watch below and see each of the 21 cards come together.
If you can not see the video up on the screen you can also view it right here.
If you want a close up look at each of the cards I have them for you below.
To get me started in creating with this kit I decided I wanted to use every pattern in the 6" x 6" paper pad. Once I had the paper then I stared looking through the other elements of the kit to see what could go with it. This was a great jumping off point and kept me creating all the way through all 20 designs of paper. And since there is two of each sheet I still have plenty to play with.
I love that there is such a mix of styles in this kit. There are some amazing floral ephemera pieces in this kit, like I used here on the gold card. But there are also some cute images like the stack of christmas books and stockings. There are even tags in this kit that you could use for your cards or for actual gift tags that could coordinate with a card you make.
Another tip for creating with kits when you want to make a lot of cards is to repeat a technique or element that you love and just give it a tweak. In this photo there are three cards that I did this on. Take a look at the card in the bottom right corner. For this card I adhered several of the floral ephemera pieces to the card base and then cut off what extended over the edge. This gave me a gorgeous background that only needed a bit of splatter and a sentiment. I repeated this on the card in the lower left corner, but this time added in a piece of patterned paper. I love how the flowers extend past the patterned paper to the edge of the card. It makes for a beautiful background. And the card in the top right corner uses this same technique, but I cut the excess off at the edge of the patterned paper for an even different look. Also, the paper used under the ephemera changes the look as well.
You can see that are not only beautiful florals in this kit but some bright and fun elements as well. I have to point out the "jolly" card in the upper right corner. This card is a full panel shaker card using the red sequins that come in the kit. I just use some clear plastic packaging to wrap around my card front to create this shaker. I show how to do it int he video. Another element that I love is on the bottom right card. I use my Journey Glaze to draw a line around the outer edge of the patterned paper and then sprinkled on the new Tinsel glitter from Ranger by Tim Holtz. It was like stepping back in time to kindergarten art, and I loved it!!!
Another element I repeated is doing a smaller piece of patterned paper in the center of the card. I varied the sizes, to keep it interesting. If I just do the same exact thing repeatedly I get bored. But figuring out the subtle changes I can make really keeps my mojo going.
I could have kept creating with this kit. There are things I barely even touched and I have so much left over even after making 21 cards. The one thing I did not even touch in the kit is the amazing Train die set! So stay tuned for another creation or two with this kit and the Train die set.
Stay tuned for more fun with card kits, I will be back again next Tuesday playing with another card kit!!!
Below I have listed and linked all the things I used to make these cards. Let me know if you have any questions or just chat with me and let me know which card is your favorite.

This post is one of those posts where I am so excited to share with you something that I think is sooooo cool, I wish I could be with you in person and we could play with these stamps, dies and stencils together! But for now I am sharing with you a card I made using this Harvest Rainbow collection. I wanted to use all three of the products together on this card.
You can see this card being made in this video right here:
I started by stenciling each arch of the rainbow in a light color, then stamping the arch of the same size over that stenciling in a darker color. Then I used the coordinating die to cut out each arch.
I stuck them to my A7 sized card (5" x 7") by slightly over lapping each arch. To finish off the rainbow I covered each arch with glaze to make it really stand out off the card.
I also used the sentiment in this stamp set, I LOVE how detailed the die is that cuts out the sentiment and it even has a shadow die to go with. Added a few pumpkins to the scene to give it even more of an autumn feel.
I have all the supplies I used to make this card listed for you below. Let me know if you have any questions. I love hearing from you.

Hey there stamping friends I am so excited to be among the first to share with you two new die sets from the Sizzix Christmas release, designed by Tim Holtz. I have to give a big THANK YOU to Scrapbook.com for sending these dies to me so that I could create and share with you on release day.
The two die sets I am sharing with you today are the Winston Colorize die set, a set of 16 dies that create a layered and dimensional snowman that is classic and adorable. The second die set is Funky Nordic. This set has 14 dies in it, but several of the dies cut multiple pieces. This set has an electric mix of wintery, nordic and Christmas elements.
I LOVE to make tags for gifts that the recipient can also hang on the tree as an ornament. So, that is what I decided to make with these fun new dies sets.
You can get a close up look at these new die sets and see these tag/ornaments come together in this video.
I started by die cutting out all the pieces I to create this amazing snowman. The Colorize die sets are designed to layer pieces on top of each other in away that gives its dimensional look. These dies also emboss lines in to the cardstock that are a guide for you as to where to adhere the different pieces. And if you are following the die cut sample on the packaging the layering dies also tell you what color to cut with that die. That can be very helpful when you have 4 dies that you use to make the scarf for example.
I made some very simple chipboard tags that measure 3" x 6". I just cut the top two corners off to make a tag. I covered the chipboard using paper from the Echo Park paper pad called; Jingle All The Way.
The poinsettia that I added to the top of this tag was made using the Funky Nordic die set, which I also used to make the tag below.
I made this tree using the die that is meant to be a snowcapped mountain. But since it is the Funky Nordic die set, why not go off script and use these dies to make your own creations. The trunk of the tree is made using the candle stick die from this set.
All of the paper I used is from Scrapbook.com. They have paper pads that are great for card bases of all sizes and die cutting too.
To finish off these tags I used a bit of Perfect Pearls to add some shimmery splatter all over. And I tied off the tops of the tags with some red and white twine that had a couple mini bells on them.
Check out the new Sizzix Christmas Collection by Tim Holtz at Scrapbook. com, RIGHT HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I love creating these tags so much I am going to make a coordinating card to go with them.

I love this fun scene with a big Hot Air Balloon! We have a lot of Hot Air Balloons that frequent our area, so I see them on a regular basis and it always makes me so happy!
This card started with a rainbow background created with the Cloudy Skies stencil and the following Distress Oxide inks; Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, and Wilted Violet. My background is 4-3/4" x 6-3/4" to fit on my A7 sized card (5" x 7").
Then I created my hot air balloon using the new die set by the same name. It has all the pieces to create this adorable balloon that is big enough to cover an A2 sized card. To give my balloon a bit of interest I used the new Hey Polka Stencil to add the polka dots.
Riding in my balloon is the darling pig from the Bed Heads stamp set. This stamp set has all the images you need to build a bedroom scene for a sick critter. Here you can see another card I made using this set.
Not only is this a shadow box card but it is also a shaker card. I love that you can see in the window, like it is a bedroom window. Poor piggy!
Back to the balloon card, which has a pop up surprise element on it, using the new Mini Double Slider Die set. Make sure to watch the video to see this die set in action and how it works to pop up my little bear, like he's floating up out of the clouds.

Welcome back stamping friends. Today I am giving you a close up look at the Clear Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders for September 2021. This stamp set, A Little Bird Told Me, is 4" x 6" and has 21 pieces. And for the first time in the history of the Clear Stamp of the Month, Spellbinders is offering an optional coordinating die set, Tweet Friends! That's is pretty cool!
For my cards I wanted to give you the feel of coming to my studio for a card making class, which I used to do monthly. At my classes you'd get a packet of card kits and you'd follow along to make cards that I designed with a particular theme. So, I designed 4 cards with this set, all with a Farmhouse theme. So, follow along with me and it would make me so happy if you created along with me too. Check out the video below to do so.
If you can not see the video up on this screen you can also view it right here, on my YouTube channel.
Here is a look at each card and some notes about how it is made.
CARD ONE
This card started with a piece of patterned paper cut to 3" x 6" from the Good Life paper pack. I added Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink around the edges with a blending tool. Then I splattered the panel with the same ink and white acrylic paint. I used this same technique for all of the background panels on all of the cards in today's collection.
I added some stamped images from the Clear Stamp of the Month set to a DIY Hoop, sold a Spellbinders. And topped that off with a bow of twine. Then I added a sentiment from the set stamping Velvet ink from Altenew onto some peach card stock. I accented the sentiment with a bit of torn paper that I wrinkled up. To embellish this card I added a few of the darkest gems from the Gold Mix Rhinestone pack. This panel was then added to a card base that is 6" x 6", scored at 3" to create a Mini Slimline card, as all the cards that I am making are.
CARD TWO
This background has been done the same way as Card One, but started with a different print of patterned paper, also from the Good Life paper pack.
I stamped several of the same flower and branch, colored them and cut them to create a fun border in the corners of this card. I also cut one of the flowers away from the stem to add to the banner flag that the bird is holding along with an additional branch. I popped the bird and banner up on the card to make it more of a focal point on the card. I finished the card off with the lighter of the two gold rhinestones from the Gold Mix by Spellbinders to embellish the top corners.
Below I have listed all the Copic Markers I used to color in today's images:
Flowers: R02, R05, R08
Greenery: YG17, G05
Bird: B34, B39 and E31, E34
CARD THREE
This one was so much fun to make. I just love creating my own background paper. So I stuck all the floral and greenery images to one acrylic block and stamped them repeatedly over this 2-3/4" x 5-3/4" piece of peach card stock with Velvet ink from Altenew to make this background. Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink was then added to the edges and all the splattering as done is card one was also added.
I built up the stamped wreath image with flowers and greenery from the stamp set for a simple but cute country wreath. I added a sentiment embossed on red card stock with wihite embossing powder. And a bit of Kraft card stock that was torn and distressed for some added texture and interest finished off my sentiment banner. I popped the banner up with some foam squares. The entire wreath was added to the card with even more foam squares. The embellishments again are from that Gold Mix Rhinestone pack. And this panel was then added to my card base. I love having a border around my card fronts, it really draws the eye in. Which do you prefer, a border or your card front to take up the enter size of the card?
CARD FOUR
This vertical Mini Slimline card is the last in this collection. I loved stamping my own background so much with the previous cards I had to repeat that technique with this card. I lined up all the straight sentiments from this set and repeatedly stamped them onto this Kraft card stock with Milk Chocolate ink from Altenew to make a text background. The same inking and splattering finished off this background panel. I also distressed the edges of the card stock with the edge of my scissors, adding to that shabby farmhouse feel. I stamped and cut more flowers and branches and adhered them to the card to make them appear as if they were falling on the bird like birthday confetti. I also altered the flag image by cutting off the pole part of it. I die cut a second flag from red card stock to add as a shadow behind my birthday sentiment flag.
To complete the card I added more rhinestones, the tiniest size only, they are 2mm!!! So cute!
There are so many other styles you can use with this stamp set. I found it very fun to play with.
I would love to know which of these cards is your favorite! And do you like to see this style of post/video, where I make a collection of cards? Leave a comment below to let me know. I love to chat with you.
Below are all the supplies I used to make this collection as well as all the Club Kits that Spellbinders has to offer. This Clear Stamp of the Month coordinates very well with several of the other club kits.

Hey there. I am back to share with you the card I made on the Trinity Stamp Instagram yesterday, LIVE!!! It was a ton of fun and I got to share one of the coolest new stamp sets from their Autumn Impression release, the Pick of the Patch slimline stamp. I went all out on this card! I did some hot foiling, ink smooshing, coloring and embossing! Check out the final card right here.
If you missed the LIVE demonstration you can still view it right here.
The hot foiled Hello is one of a handful of new Cut & Foil sets that Trinity Stamps has started carrying.
It is a solid and bold plate, which can mean that it will be harder to foil than a thin line plate. BUT, if you use the right card stock, you will not have that trouble. I recommend the White Card Stock by Heffy Doodle.
I also used this same white card stock to do some coloring with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Previously, I was only able to use these markers on Bristol Smooth card stock, but the Heffy Doodle White Card stock is soooooo smooth, it is perfect for the Zig markers!
You can see that I used the Slimline Pick of the Patch stamp over the top of my ink smooshed background. But this stamp would also make a great focal point image for a slimline card. And you don't have to limit it's use to slimline card either. I love that this stamp set also comes with a couple pumpkins, faces you can stamp on them and 3 sentiments. It's versatile enough to use for fall like I have done on this card or, use with the jack-o-lantern faces for a Halloween project.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I have listed and linked all the things I used to make this card for you below.
Let me know if you have any questions.

It's time to take a look at the September Glimmer Kit of the Month from Spellbinders!
This month's kit is a pretty banner set, with 6 sentiment plates and 2 decorative plates. You use these together to build a banner. And there are coordinating dies that allow you to cut out these hot foiled images to build the banner. This kit comes with a roll of Polished Brass foil, one of my faves!
Now let's see this kit in action in the video below, where I show you each piece and make 2 cards with it.
Let's take a look at the first card I made with this set.
I use the biggest sentiment in the Glimmering Build A Banner set; Wishing You A Happy Birthday. I love this 3 piece banner. The detailed pieces that are the back sides if the banner are FABULOUS!
I used a few die sets for the background. I used the Color Block Panel die for the green panels. I gave these panels a touch of splatter with some Electric Lime Silk, cause splatter always works! And for the balloons I used the September Large Die of the month. Check out all 34 dies in the LDOM - Just a Tweet set right here. I brought my white balloons to life with a bit of Journey Glaze and then a sprinkle of chunky glitter.
And in the background a little bit of dry embossing with the Heart and Soul Embossing folder. I love that bit of white peeking through, drawing your eyes into the center and that banner.
Now let's take a look at card number two, using the Color Block Slices dies for the background with a simpler banner on top.
You do not have to have three section to this banner, you can do one like I have here for the Thank you. And it's still gorgeous.
And how about that rainbow background with the die cut pieces, so easy to do with the Color Block Slices die set.
The flowers are also from the September Large Die of the Month. My favorite thing about the Glimmer Build A Banner set is adding things all around it, like I did here with the flowers.
To finish off my flowers I added some Crystal Gems in the center. The are white with an iridescent finish, so pretty.
This banner is a great set to add to any collection, it and easily go with the things you already have and love to use.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I have all the things I used listed and linked for you below. I also have all the club kits that Spellbinders offers below so you can check those out.

Today I am unboxing the September 2021 Box of the Month from Not 2 Shabby. I will show you all the goodies in side, up close and personal. See it all in the video below.
Happy September! So many fun new things going on in the month of September and among them are the new Club Kits from Spellbinders.
In this post I am sharing the Large Die of the Month, Just a Tweet. This set has 34 dies in it!!! You can create a bird, balloons, flowers, music notes, sentiments with layers and vines or branches for the flowers. The possibilities are great with this die set!
In this video I will show you all 34 dies and how they go together.
If you can not see the video up on the screen, you can also view it on my YouTube channel.
Now I have some close up photos of the card I made using these new dies.
I've used all but the balloons to make this card. I created a frame of vines and flowers around my bird and sentiment. I added dimension to the flowers using Copic makers over the colored card stock for shadowing. Then I used my white Gelly Roll pen to add highlights as well.
The background of this card has been embossed using the Slimline Flora embossing folder. It's such a pretty folder and was the perfect backdrop for my scene.
I chose to make a yellow bird, as we have some that frequent our bird feeder that is shaped like a flower and they are yellow. I can see them out my craft room window and that is the inspiration for this card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders with you. It's another great set with lots of detail and options.
I have listed and linked all the club kits that Spellbinders has to offer, as well as the bundle options they have if you like to get more than one kit.
