Hello my stamping friends. I am back, sharing another Pumpkin House creation with you. I just had to make a halloween Pumpkin House before I complete move on to making Christmas cards. And as a little treat for you, I have made a short video sharing the making of this card. It is a different format of video than I normally do. It is quick and set to music, so be sure to let me know what you think.
Now let's take a look at this card, with some cute little Trick or Treaters, from the Lawn Fawn Costume Party stamp set.
This card was inspired by Episode #84 of Craft Roulette. If you are not familiar with Craft Roulette, it is a LIVE card making game show on YouTube. It airs every Friday night at 5:30pm MST. The host, Mary Gunn Funn has a guest crafter join her each week. They spin the wheel which selects 4 card making parameters. Mary and her guest then set to creating a card using those parameters. The parameters for Episode #84 are; Slimline Landscape Card, Orange background, Jar or Glass, 3 Layers
For my background I used two colors of Distress Oxide ink, Rusty Hinge and Spiced Marmalade. After ink blending them I spritz the paper with with water for a splattered look. Then I spritz on some Jack O Lantern Distress Mica Spray. After that was all dry I added a layer of stars with the Fair Dust Stencil Paste and the Starry Night Stencil.
Here you can see all the glass I used on my card, in the form of windows, which is vellum. And the same for the lanterns. My grass layer is Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink. I was die cut using the Slimline Grassy Hillside Borders die set.
And here are my trick or treaters, from the Costume Party Stamp set. I just love this set and how darling these kiddo's are all dressed up. Finished out my card perfectly.
Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share this card with you and I encourage you to check out Craft Roulette this Friday night at 5:30pm MST for some serious stamping fun! And then you too can play along with the challenge!
Here are all the supplies I used to make today's card. NOTE: the Distress Mica Spray Stains I used are a limited time offering from Tim Holtz, so they may not be available at this time. Check Ranger for availability.

I hope that you will be inspired and have fun along the way. AND, keep reading to find out more about this hop's giveaway!
Time for Tea has some seriously cute images and I am thrilled that they are now more accessible than ever to get in the States.
Now let's take a look at these products in action and see these cards come together.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it over on my YouTube channel.
I love making slimline cards, and this Slimline Hillside die set made it very easy to create these scenes. With this slimline size I was able to create a scene that fit in two paper airplanes from the Paper Plane Pals stamp set.
To create these scenes I used Distress Oxide Inks and a couple other distress products. Be sure to watch the video to see the different panels come to life.
What I love about this Paper Plane die set is that the die for the airplane cuts a slit in the plane for the critter to fit in to. No pulling out the craft knife for that. YAY! Look how cute that panda is in the plane. I used a black gel pen to add little dots to his eyes.
I added a little bystander to the scene, this little donut eating dog is from the All Occasions Critters. He's loving the airshow, hehehe.
Now let's look at the second card made with the Snappy Before Coffee stamp set.
These critters really are so cute! I also love the smiling coffee pot!!! I had a lot of fun on this card painting in the subtle clouds in the background, a very easy distress technique with water. I show you how to do it in the video.
Have you ever seen a cuter hippo in a bow tie before???
The coffee card is a fun image for building outdoor scenes too.
These two snappy friends, meeting up for coffee, reminds me of meeting up with my friend Georgie. She always smiles and giggles with me and wants to know all the things about me since we last talked. But don't worry, I also have to hear all her news too!
I just loved making these little scene with these adorable images. Now it is time to hop along and see what the other designers have made for this hop.
Time for Tea Designs is giving away $30 worth of T4TD products that are now available at Simon Says Stamp! Be sure to leave a comment on EACH blog as you hop along with us to enter this giveaway. A random drawing will determine our winner and will be announced on the T4TD Blog on October 30th, 2021.
Next stop on the hop is, Mahala Kiss, you are going to love her creation!!
If you miss a stop along the hop here is the entire line up.
Below you will find the supplies I used to make these cards.

Now let's take a close up look at each of the cards.
NOTE: Before creating my cards I stamped out all the image in the Penguin Party stamp set, colored them and die cut them out to be ready for card making. And while I had the stamps on my MISTI, I stamped them out several times so I could add as many images as I wanted and I would have some ready to go for future use if I had left overs.
Here are all the Copic Markers I used to color my images:
Penguins: N8, N6, N4
Beak and Flippers: Y15, Y17
Red Things: R46, R29, R17
Teal: BG32, BG11
Shading for White areas: N2, N0
White Gelly Roll Pen size 08 for accents
CARD ONE
Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Card Front: 5-1/4" x 4"
For Snowflake: 4" x 4"
Window Sheet (2): 3" x 3"
1. Stencil the Snowflake background stencils and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
2. Trace the opening of the die cut Magic Iris Snowflake onto the card front where you want the shaker panel to be.
3. Die cut around this traced circle with a circle die about the same size or slightly bigger. Approximate size of the circle is 1-3/4".
4. Adhere one of the window sheets to the back of the opening.
5. Adhere the snowflake to the front of the card, right around the circle.
6. Stamp your sentiment before assembling your shaker.
7. Add foam tape to the back of the card front all around your window, making sure the ends of the foam tape touch so that none of your shaker elements can escape. Add some extra foam tape to the top and bottom of this panel as well so the card front will be sturdy on the card base.
8. Add in your shaker elements, I used micro beads and seed beads. Remove the backing off the foam tape that is around the window. Adhere your second window sheet here.
9. Remove the rest of the backing from the foam tape and add glue to the foam tape that is covered by the window sheet, assuring a good hold when you now add this panel to the card base.
10. Add your stamped images to the center of the shaker.
11. Embellish with some rhinestones or bling of your choice.
CARD TWO
Card Base: 8-3/4" x 7-1/2", scored at 3-3/4"
Card Front: 8-1/2" x 3-1/2", die cut using the Large Slimline Die set from Lawn Fawn
Let it Snow Sentiment: 4" x 4" of glitter paper
Hill: 4" x 1-1/2" of glitter paper
Scrap of white card stock to stamp talk bubble
1. Die cut the Card Front panel from white card stock using the Large Slimline Die form the Large Slimline with Sliders die set from Lawn Fawn. This gives the paper a stitched edge. Or you can just cut a piece of white card stock to 8-1/2" x 3-1/2".
2. While this die is out die cut a pice of glitter card stock to create a hill, I used a scrap that was about 4" x 1-1/2", only cutting the bottom and sides. I the die cut the top with one of the Simple Stitched Borders, to create the hill to build my scene on. Set this aside.
3. Back to the card front panel, ink the the bottom 1/4 of the panel withe Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
4. Ink the top 3/4 of the panel with Black Soot Distess Oxide ink, blending it lightly with the Salvaged Patina.
5. Spritz the panel with water from a spray bottle. Blot up the excess water after a minute with paper towel or cloth. Next splatter on some Liquid Stardust using a paint brush. Lastly, splatter on some white acrylic paint that has been thinned out with a bit of water. Set this aside to dry.
6. If you want your die cut "Let it Snow" to be more sturdy and stand out off the card a bit back it with one or two additional die cuts of this image from white card stock.
7. Stamp the talk bubble in black in on white card stock and the "warm wishes" in Lobster ink in the center and cut this out. Both images are from a free with purchase set from Lawn Fawn called "Say What? Holiday Critters". If you do not have this shop your stash and find something that will work for you.
8. When the background panel is dry adhere the sentiment, hill and images. I popped up my igloo, penguin and talk bubble with foam squares and glued the other pieces.
9. Adhere the card front to the card base.
10. Add some Winter White gems in and around the scene for accent to finish off this card.
CARD THREE
Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 3-3/4"
Card Front: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Hills: 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Sentiment Circle: 1-3/4" (or center from circle die left over from die cutting the snowflake for Card One
1. Die cut card front from white card stock using the Stitched Snowflake backdrop.
2. Die cut two hills using a scrap of white paper and the Simple Stitched Border die set. If you do not own this die set, hand cutting some hills is really easy to do.
3. Add some Salvaged Patina ink the the center of the card for a highlight. And add a bit of this ink to the tops of the hills.
4. Splatter the background and hills with Liquid Stardust.
5. Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Magic Holiday Message stamp set on a circle that is about 1-3/4" with VersaFine Onyx Black or VersaMark ink and emboss with black embossing powder.
6. Also from the Merry Holiday Message set, stamp the holly image twice, color and die cut.
7. Adhere the hills to the bottom of the card front, layering one behind the other.
8. Stamp "North Pole" from the Penguin Party stamp set on the sign with the stripes in black ink. Glue this to the back or top hill on the card.
9. Glue the string of lights to the igloo and glue this to the card, as well as the puff of smoke so it looks like it came out of the chimney.
10. Pop up the Penguins on the front hill. The penguin on the left is holding a present and the baby penguin on the right is holding a fish for a gift exchange.
11. Pop up the sentiment on the top of the card, in the center. Glue a holly image to each corner on the top of the card.
12. Adhere the card front to the card base.
13. Adhere some Winter White rhinestones to finish off the scene.

Welcome back my stamping friend! Today is a fun day, it is finally the Fall Hop with the Lawn Fawn Fans! Lawn Fawn Fans is a group of crafty YouTubers who love Lawn Fawn products and have come together to celebrate that with a hop each season. This is the 2021 Fall Hop! To enter just hop along with us, leaving comments at each stop on the hop. The winner will be announced on the community page of my YouTube channel on 10/23.
Now let's get into the what I have created for this hop.
For my fall scene I just had to play with the new Pumpkin House die set. I have been wanting a pumpkin house since the mushroom and acorn houses came out. So, I am pretty sure Lawn Fawn heard my wish and made it come true, hehehe.
One year at the Farmstead, a fun filled pumpkin patch that my kids go to every year, I got a blue pumpkin. It was the cutest thing and it inspired the pumpkin house for my little nut collecting squirrels.
Watch this card come together and see how I added lights to it in this video:
To make the pumpkin house light up I used EZ Lights from Pear Blossom Press. If you have ever wanted to make a light up card but are too scared of doing all the electrical work, these are the light for you, be sure to check out the video to see how truly easy they are to add to a card.
I added the squirrels to my scene, collecting nuts for the winter because I just adore squirrels and they worked so hard making the perfect winter home in this adorable pumpkin.
This pumpkin even has a few warts to make it even more cute. The beautiful warts are Mirrored Mint Baubles from Trinity Stamps.
I love how this card turned out with a blue pumpkin! If you like the Pumpkin House die set too, two of the other makers in this hop used it as well, so you will have even more inspiration with it in this hop! Below is the entire hop list for your convenience and at each stop on the hop the next video will be linked for you.
I hope you will visit each maker on this hop as they are all very talented and such dear people.
A big THANK YOU to Lawn Fawn for their support of our hope and generosity!
Linked below you will find all the supplies I used to make todays card.

I am super excited that in the latest Trinity Stamps release there is a new stamp set designed by Love, Dani! I adore her art, it is very much my style. She incorporates her inspiring word art with images. The newest image is Warm Heart. It features a heart wearing a scarf and hat and the sentiment says, "You Warm My Heart". The word art is often open, so that you can coloring the letters. AND, too coordinate with this set Trinity Stamps has a great die set to go with. You can cut out the words in this sentiment and the images! The heart, the scarf and the hat. They are paper piecing dies, which gives you so many possibilities.
For my card today I paper pieced the scarf for more 3D detail. I used one of my favorite Christmas color combinations for this card and it makes me so happy, let's check it out.
Look at that adorable image! And how about that background... it is the Mini Slimline Geometric Cut Out Panel. I thought it looked like a nordic sweater pattern done tone on tone like this.
Here is a close up so you can see the dimension I got by paper piecing the scarf. I love the mix of coloring and paper piecing. Having a lot of different textures on my cards is so much fun to me.
Speaking of texture. I use scraps of corrugated card stock as an accent and it is just delightful.
For embellishment I used Diamond Stickles and Cinnamon Red Hots Jelly Drops Hearts. Both of which are the little something extra that put the love in this card.
I love that I can send this card anytime during the winter from the start of winter to Valentines day and anything in-between! Thank you so much for stopping by. You can find all the things I used to make this card listed and linked for you below.

Hello there my stamping friends. Today I am celebrating the newest release from Trinity Stamps with a hop! Several of the design team are bringing you project inspiration with the new projects from the Treetops and Trimmings release.
I get to share with you the Mistletoads stamp set. This 6 piece 4" x 3" stamp set has cute little frogs that can stand under the mistletoe or can be used year round in other scenes. I made a Christmas themed loved note.
Aren't they just darling! I also made a custom sentiment for these cuties using the Graham Cracker Alphabet and MY OWN HANDWRITING! That was the scary part. But the saying "Meet Me Under the Mistletoad" was just stuck in my head and I had to do it. If you ever have this situation but you do not love your hand writing you could also use alphabet stamps or print out your sentiment. There are two sentiments in this set you can also use, "Hoppy Holidays" and "Blessing bestoad upon you".
I love making Christmas cards in non-traditional colors, like this pink, red, white and green. And it is a card that can be given at Christmas time but is not your traditional Christmas card. However, I have an anniversary in December and it would be good for that, or a great Christmas card to give to your partner.
This stamp set is a fun and unique set for Christmas but can also be used well beyond too. If you have a frog lover in your life this is a great set to make them a birthday card as well, as it has the stack of presents that could work for a birthday as well. And the sentiment from this set; "Blessing BesTOAD upon you" could go with a birthday I think.
You can see this card come together in the video below.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also view it over on my YouTube channel. You will want to click over to my YouTube channel to leave a comment there, so that you can be entered into the drawing for the $25 shopping spree to the Trinity Stamps shop! Leaving a comment at every hop stop will get you more entries! You will find the link to the next video in the description box of my video over on YouTube. The winner will be announced on 10/21 on the Trinity Stamps blog.

This kit has 15 pieces; 6 Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and 9 dies. There are dies to cut out all of the glimmer hot foiled images, plus dies that cut out supporting images. I have used them all on the card I made so you can really get a feel for this kit. This month's kit also comes with a roll of Copper Foil. It is a gorgeous color!
You can see this kit in action and watch this card come together in the video below.
In this months Kit you are going to get plates to hot foil a mushroom, maple leaf, oak leaf, acorn, a flower and a sentiment (thankful for you). There are dies to cut out each of the images, but not the sentiment. The dies cut on the hot foil line, leaving no white border. The Copper foil that comes in this kit is a gorgeous metallic brownish orange gold color that I am just in love with!
The other dies in this kit cut out a branch, flowers for this branch, leaves and a flower to layer on top of the hot foiled flower. It's really fun to mix and match all the foiled images with the die cut images as I have done on this card. It make it all fit how I wanted I made an A7 card, 10" x 7", scored at 5".
If you have any questions about hot foiling or the kits of the month from Spellbinder please let me know I am glad to help.
Thank you for visiting me and letting me share my creations with you.
Below I have listed and linked all the things I used to make this card.

Welcome back my stamping friends. Today I am sharing the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders for October 2021! I'm LOVING this die set. I looked at it and immediately knew I had to make an ornament with this die set!
This is the Santa's Fireplace die set. There are 27 dies in this set and the price of the Large Die of the Month is only $27.99. That is an amazing deal! This set has dies that will create the fire place, complete with log and burning fire and a grate to keep it all contained. There is also a base for the fire place that you can drop in one of six of the sentiment options. There is also a kinetic Santa, which means you can adhere the legs so that they swing back and forth! You can dress up your fire place with garland, flowers, a bow, candle sticks, stockings and even a wreath. SO many great dies in this set, no detail was left out.
You can see all the dies, what they cut, how to put it all together and see how I made this ornament in the video below.
Once you see this die set in action and know where all the pieces go, it is very easy to put together. I love that there are dies to cut out pieces to adhere behind the details cuts into the fireplace. I used silver card stock and I love the metallic shine it adds.
To create an ornament from this fireplace you need a base to adhere it all too. I simply traced around my fireplace and base onto a piece of heavy weight white cardstock. I then cut this out and was able to pop up my fireplace onto that to create this ornament. The good thing about the base being white is that you can add to it. I chose to stencil on some bricks. You could also ink blend the glow of a fire if you wanted to have a fire inside the fireplace. I did not want to burn up Santa's feet, so I just added the logs and grate.
Look how great the garland and stocking look. It's the little details that really make this piece special and Spellbinders never forgets to add in the little details with this Large Die of the Month. Also, I added the words, "Dear Santa" to the base of my fire place, but there are 5 other sentiments you could drop in and die cut out of the base; give thanks, noel, warm wishes, merry christmas, and a gift for you.
I chose to use the greenery to make a garland to go across the mantel of my fireplace, but you can take these same greenery pieces and create a wreath. This fire place easily fits on an A2 sized card or larger. The wreath would look great as an element above the fire place when you add it to a card. There are also candle sticks you can add to the mantle. They were just too thin to add to the top of an ornament.
There are so many different looks you can get with this fireplace, just by changing the colors you use. I love the idea of a fall look and using the GIVE THANKS words on the base of the fire place. And it would be easy to make a spooky fireplace as well and add some drips to the candle sticks. So, don't let the name, Santa's fireplace stop you from using this die set for all occasions.
Below I have listed and linked all the club kits that Spellbinders has to offer. They are all subscriptions that come to you automatically each month. You can bundle and get more than one kit a month. You can also change or cancel your subscription at anytime. Let me know if you have any questions about the kits of the month or about this Large Die of the Month.

Today I am playing with stamps from TLC Designs for the first time! Trinity Stamps and TLC Designs are coming together for a mash up Instagram Hop. And I am so happy to get to be part of it. TLC has some very cute images. I picked the Troll Cricket Fun stamp set. I love the art work of these darling little trolls and the frog and mushroom in this set just make it!
As you can see, there is a tab on this card that says PULL! Another part of this hop is that all the designers are making interactive cards! I chose the Slimline Twist and Slide die set from Trinity Stamps. When you pull the tab it looks like the little trolls are running to each other for a hug.
Here you can see what the card looks like when you pull the tab out. The characters move and when you push the tab in they move in the opposite direction.
There are a few dies that allow you to create this mechanism in the Slimline Twist and Slide die set by Trinity Stamps. It's one of those die sets that makes sense on how to use it once you see it being done. And one that you can use for so many different things. I know several of the other designers on this hop are using this die set too, so there will be a lot of inspiration for you and different ideas on how to use it.
This is an Instagram hop and you can join the hop on my page HERE.

Hello there my stamping friends I am excited to be back with you today sharing another NEW release designed by Tim Holtz for Sizzix. The lovely people at Scrapbook.com sent me the Village Collection Dies and new 3-D Texture Fades embossing folders to create with and share with you. I was THRILLED when I got a look at this new collection of products. I love house dies and villages! And with this 87 pieces the possibilities are endless with this die set. Add in the texture fades embossing folders and it village making heaven!
When I got these dies I knew right away I wanted to make a few houses to add to my fall themed mini tiered tray. And I would make them to match the fabric pumpkins I already have. Take a look at how it all turned out.
Check out this amazing die set and embossing folders in this video and see these houses come together.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also watch it over on my YouTube channel.
Now let's get a close up look at each house.
This die set has dies to make 2 base houses, this is base house one. I was able to pick the door and windows I wanted on this house, as there are so many options in this die set. I also added the brick layer using the Brickwork 3D Texture Fades mini embossing folder. I also personalized this house by added singles to the roof. The colors I chose were inspired by the fabric pumpkins I have as part of my fall decor, also pieces I made.
This house is the base house #2. There are 3 main dies to make this base house. Again, I chose the door and windows. I also used the Lumber 3D Texture Fades embossing folder on this house. I was able to get the white highlights showing threw because I used the Neutrals Smooth Cardstock pack from Scrapbook.com. The paper in this pack is 85lb with a white core. Making it perfect for sanding down your embossed pattern. I also ran my Walnut Stain Distress ink pad over the embossing for some shadowing. I love the added pop of color to this house with the teal door, that matches that pumpkin.
This is also base house number one. But I added on the entry way option. There is also an addition option that you can add to the side of this house. And the entry way, as well as the addition can also be added to base house 2! That alone gives you so many options. There are also dies to make a steeple and an upper level to create a manor.
For this house I added a bit of cable stone around the bottom using the 3D Texture Fades mini embossing folder of the same name. I also used the Lumber folder for the roof of the house.
I am so in love with the shutters you can add to these houses, they are so darn cute!
The possibilities with the Village Collection dies are just endless! These dies are I have so many more ideas and will be sharing them with you soon, with more videos and posts to inspired you with this die set!
You can get this new collection of dies and mini 3D embossing folders at Scrapbook.com
