Hello there my stamping friends. Today I am celebrating the newest release from Trinity Stamps with a hop! Several of the design team are bringing you project inspiration with the new projects from the Treetops and Trimmings release.
I get to share with you the Mistletoads stamp set. This 6 piece 4" x 3" stamp set has cute little frogs that can stand under the mistletoe or can be used year round in other scenes. I made a Christmas themed loved note.
Aren't they just darling! I also made a custom sentiment for these cuties using the Graham Cracker Alphabet and MY OWN HANDWRITING! That was the scary part. But the saying "Meet Me Under the Mistletoad" was just stuck in my head and I had to do it. If you ever have this situation but you do not love your hand writing you could also use alphabet stamps or print out your sentiment. There are two sentiments in this set you can also use, "Hoppy Holidays" and "Blessing bestoad upon you".
I love making Christmas cards in non-traditional colors, like this pink, red, white and green. And it is a card that can be given at Christmas time but is not your traditional Christmas card. However, I have an anniversary in December and it would be good for that, or a great Christmas card to give to your partner.
This stamp set is a fun and unique set for Christmas but can also be used well beyond too. If you have a frog lover in your life this is a great set to make them a birthday card as well, as it has the stack of presents that could work for a birthday as well. And the sentiment from this set; "Blessing BesTOAD upon you" could go with a birthday I think.
