Hello again my crafty friends. Today I am sharing the final episode in my "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. For this episode I am playing with the Magic Iris again, and the Camera Add on. And creating a picture perfect Christmas scene. To go with my card, a coordinating flocked ornament.
Watch these projects come together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on this screen you can also watch it on my YouTube channel.
This card has so many fun elements on it, but the magic iris has to be the coolest.
I love that is opens as a camera would and reveals another part of the scene. A yummy Christmas village of gingerbread!
The thing I had the most fun with on this card is making the background with the Snowflake Background stencil set and the White Stencil Paste. That white is so white and not a spec of red showed through. I LOVE it!
One of my favorite things to do on a card is to make custom sentiments. With the help of Oliver's Stitched ABCs and the Yeti or Not stamp set I was able to create the " SMILE it's Christmas" sentiment that I wanted for this card.
This card is 6"x 6" and is such a fun size for Christmas and with this coordinating ornament, you have gift too.
What I love about this project was adding the flocking. The flock is Cotton Tail with glitter in it! All I did to apply the flock is dab on some glue with a paint brush and then sprinkled the flock on. Just treat it like glitter and the result is so very beautiful and Christmasy!
To dress up all the cute stamped images I added some glaze all over and sprinkled on some chunky glitter. I loved this so much I went back to the card and added the same thing to the letters in SMILE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I had a blast making these and hope that you found a bit of inspiration here today.
Below are all the supplies I used to make these two projects. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Carrie, I love the card and found it quite funny how you kept getting great ideas. I especially love the coordinating ornament. I didn't see a link for the ornament but I'm very curious where you found it. All the possibilities I see already have flocking and a bow but I like the plain option that you used so you can fix it up the way you like it!
