Hello my stamping friends. Today I am creating with the November Stamp of the Month from Not 2 Shabby! It's the Cup of Cheer Stamp set. This set is available to purchase now or you can subscribe and get the Stamp of the Month set each month! And what is super cool is that now you can also get the coordinating die set with it if you like!
Take a look at the three cards I made using this new stamp set.
The images in this set are so darling with their cute little faces. Plus, I just love penguins!

If you can not see the video up on this screen you can watch it over on my YouTube channel.
For each of these cards I used small images in the stamp set to stamp and emboss a background. I love making my own backgrounds and embossing a repeating image with white embossing powder is a classic technique that can be used with so many stamp sets. I also used the same layout for each of these cards. Repeating the same layout and design elements really made it easy to create three cards. I only had to think of one idea and then repeat that with new colors and new stamped images.
Here is a close up look at each of the cards.
To color in this adorable cocoa drinking penguin, and all the images in today's cards, I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
To get my images ready for coloring I stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed them with clear powder on Bristol Smooth Card Stock. Then I used two shades of each color to get some shading when I colored. I also go the lighter areas on my image with the used of the Blender Pen. These markers blend with each other beautifully. Watch the video to see them in action.
Marshmallow stamps, so simple, so super cute! Love them! And this little cup with the smiley face is just darling.
On this card especially you can see the splatter in the background that is real life is shimmery, as I used Perfect Pearls to make the splatter.
All of today's cards are Mini Slimline size, 6" x 6", scored at 3". The card front panels were die cut using a Mini Slimline Rectangle die set from Trinity Stamps.
I finished off these cards with some sequins, which came with my order. I little sampler of sequins that had great options to coordinate with these cards.
These cards were simple to make and easy to replicate. But mostly, I had fun making them and that is what makes for a great card.
