Hello my stamping friends, today I am sharing some 4 Bar cards. In Trinity Stamps latest release they have added a die set that is specifically for making 4 Bar cards, the 4 Bard Card and Envelope Builder die set. They also have two new stamp sets from this release that fit perfectly on this card size, I'll be using both of these sets.
So what is a 4 Bar card??? I like to think of it as a FUN SIZE card. It's simple, take a 5" x 7" piece of card stock and score it at 3-1/2". That is a 4 Bar card, also known as an RSVP card or Note card.

The first card features the Sunsational 4 x 3 stamp set, designed by Love Dani Studio. Her images are some of my favorite that Trinity Stamps carries. I love that the sentiment is built into the images. And they are always uplifting.
My favorite thing is to color the letters in an ombre. Notice the two rectangle panels on this card? Both are cut using 4 Bar dies, one has a stitched edge and the other an embossed edge. I love that they have detail in the dies and not just a standard rectangle. Because we can all cut a plain rectangle on our paper cutters, right!
Here is the card in the envelope. I made both of my envelopes today with a window in them. With this die set, the window is optional. It's a fun way to present a card that might go in with a gift and be hand delivered.
This second card was designed using the Hugs & Kisses 3" x 4" stamp set, also designed by Love Dani Studio. This set coordinates with the 4 Bar Card & Envelope Builder die set. As that die set cuts out the word Hugs and the word Kisses, that you can paper piece over the stamped image. Of course you can use the die set with out the stamp set and vice versa. Even the hearts have a coordinating die for paper piecing, which I did with White Glitter Paper.
Looking at this picture I am sad to say that the shine on this card is not showing up as it does in real life. The word HUGS has been coated in Journey Glaze and the word kisses has been painted with metallic paint. Be sure to watch the video to get the full splendor of these elements on the card.
And what do you think about those tiny black hearts I added to the corners? They are the Black Licorice Jelly Drop Heart mix. Trinity Stamps has an AMAZING assortment of embellishments. And if you like a particular embellishment, chances are they have it in several other colors. I have linked all the colors of Jelly Drop Hearts for you below as well as all the colors of Rhinestones. I used the Amber Glow Rhinestones on the Sensational card above.
And check out this card in the envelope! I added a scalloped rectangle to the window from the 4 Bar Card Die set in black glitter paper!
What a fun sized card to give. I always find that when I have a new size of card to play with it gives me a boost to my mojo! I hope you'll give the 4 Bar card a try and have just as much fun with it.
