Hey there stamping friends, today I am back with another of the new stamp sets from the Sweet Shop release from Trinity Stamps. This is the Bon Bon Box stamp set. It is a sweet little stamp set with a box of chocolates. The coordinating stamp and dies make this set a lot of fun to play with. You decide wether you want to color in the chocolates, stamp the chocolates or paper piece the chocolates. Or a combination of these things.
I decided to make 3 card, one with each of these options.
Watch them come together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also watch it over on my YouTube channel.
Here are some close up pictures of each of the cards.
CARD ONE
This card is a 4 Bar card, which is a 5" x 3-1/2" card, also called an RSVP card. If you want to see more 4 Bar cards, watch my "What is a 4 Bar Card?" video.
As I mentioned above you can add color to these chocolates in a number of ways, one of them is to use the small stamps in the set to stamp each of the chocolates. The stamp will only cover the chocolate or bon bon and not the paper wrapper around the bon bon.
Then I used the coordinating stamps that create sprinkles or drizzle on top of the chocolates. I stamped in the images in Versamark ink and embossed them with white powder. The rest of the box I colored in with Copic Markers.
CARD TWO
For this box of chocolates I used the coordinating dies to cut out the bon bon shapes. This is my favorite way to add color to the bon bons, as it gives them a bit more dimension. I also added glaze over the top of them and a sprinkle of chunky glitter. I just love how it turned out.
This card is a mini slimline size, 3" x 6". So you can see how this box of chocolates fits on different size cards.
CARD THREE
For this last card I colored in the chocolates with my Copic Markers. This gives you the most ability to add shadows and highlights. I also did a bit of stamping on top of the coloring.
I loved adding the glaze to the chocolates so much that I added it to these as well.
All the supplies I used to make these cards are listed for you below. Please let me know if you have any questions or your thoughts on today's cards in the comments below, I love to chat with you.
