Bringing out some DARLING dies from Trinity Stamps today to make some Christmas ornaments. If you have not die cut felt before it is amazing. I Love to make felt ornaments with dies. This year I got the idea to make those ornaments SCENTED!
I made two different hand stitched ornaments and they have two different scents.
See how they got their scent and came together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on your screen, you can also view it right HERE.
First up is the festive mug.
I used the Santa Mug Die set for this ornament. I am in LOVE with this die set, you can see my gift card holder made with this same die set right here.
The added candy cane is from the Sweet Holiday Wishes Die set.
All the bling used is from the Trinity Stamps Shop:
And can you find the touch of Rock Candy Glitter on there?
This mug of cheer has a coffee scent. And it is simple to do. Add drops of your choice of essential oils to a scrap of wool felt. Tuck this inside when you are stuffing the ornament!
Next let's look at the Happy Snowman ornament.
OH my WORD! I love this little guy. Actually he is not that little I made him using the Slimline Happy Snowman Die set. Top hat to snow bottom he is almost 7-1/2" long.
How about those rosy cheeks? I added a touch of Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink to create this look.
I love having another way to use my stand alone dies to make something fun for the Christmas tree! This one smells like Wintergreen. YUM!
