HELLO there my crafty friends! I am excited to be here sharing with you the latest release from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
The July Release features 3 stencils and a stamp and die set. And to give you lots of ideas and inspiration with this new release The Rabbit Hole Designs is hosting a blog and instagram hop. Read to the end of this post where you will find all the stops on the hop.
I love making my own backgrounds and playing around with techniques, so stenciling is very much my jam! I thought you'd like to see these stencils in action, the fun backgrounds I make and the cards created from those backgrounds. That is why I made a video! In this video I am sharing 3 Ways you can use Sprays with your stencils, maybe some you have yet to try even???

Now let's take a close up look at each of these fun cards.
The first stencil I played with is the Candy Twist Stencil. I love to create with anything sweets related.
I started by sprinting my stencil covered white card stock with Distress Oxide Sprays. My second step was to stencil over that with Sparkle Paste. It's a glittery delicious background!!!

Next up is the Pinwheel Stencil.
This background is pretty easy and such a fun result. I did my ink blending first and with the stencil still in place I did a little spritzing with Distress Mica Spray stains. So the shapes have a splattering of shimmer on them.
This card is a full panel shaker, a quick way to turn a background into a special card.
This last stencil is the Paisley Bandana. This is a layering stencil and it's super cute!
The panels on this card may look they were stenciled with more than two layers, but they were not. The Paisley Bandana stencil is only two layers, but in my video I share how I got more color variation on this background.
The spray on this card is a light mist of Frozen Fog Distress Mica Spray Stain over the entire background, giving it another layer of interest. Did you notice the sentiments I used on all my cards, that is the new Sentimentally Speaking stamp set. This stamp set has a saying for any occasion in it. And the coordinating die set, cuts around each one! I love the font, it's classic with some flair and you can use it with so many different styles.
