Hello my crafty friends. I hope you are enjoying your holiday season. I have been decorating, shopping, wrapping. AND of course Making! I just finished a project that I have been wanting to do for a while. A banner for my fireplace. One of my favorite things to make each year is a Woven Star ornament, which I have now started calling a Woven Snowflake. I make a version of it each year and this year I decided to take my love of this ornament and pair it with another love, banners. I made eight woven snowflakes, strung them together and created a banner. I am quite in love with it too!
If you have never seen my Woven Star video, that started it all, you can watch that one HERE.
In today's video I will also show you how to make the Woven Snowflake (formerly known as Star) and also how to make this banner.
I use the Jingle All the Way paper pack by Echo Park for this banner. I chose 4 patterns of paper and made two of each Snowflake out of the four designs.
It only takes 1 piece of 6x6 paper to make one of these snowflakes.
They are not that hard to make. But they are so beautiful. These snowflakes make a great ornament and topper for a gift or gift bag. Making one and adding something special to the center is a stunning ornament. You can see the ornaments I made last year in THIS VIDEO.
I have even used one of these snowflakes on a wreath I made as a gift one year.
I have added a hanger to the top of these snowflakes making them easier to string on the twine and create this banner.
You can see how you can easily customize these snowflakes to fit any decor by the paper you use and what you decide to add to the center of the snowflake.
The doily shape I am using for today's snowflakes is a cut file I got from the Silhouette Design Store. It is designed by Lori Whitlock and is called Round Doily. I love using a digital cut file for this banner, it allowed me to make the doily as big as I wanted to accommodate the letter in the center. This doily is about 2-1/4" in diameter. Another great option for the center of these snowflakes is the Crochet Doily die set by Echo Park. The doilies in this die set are closer in size to the original doily that I used on my first snowflakes at approximately 1-3/4" around. I mention this because that is the most asked question that I get from my orginal video that first aired in 2015, "where I can I find the doilies that you used". The ones I used in 2015 has since retired. But the sky is the limit as to what you can add to the center of this snowflake.
The letters I used for my banner are from the Classic Type Alphabet die set by Scrapbook.com. And the circle die cut between my letter and doily is from Trinity Stamps, I have to mention it because when you die cut these circles they leave a beveled edge, love that!
Thank you so much for taking time to visit me today and let me share my banner with you. If you have any questions please feel free to ask by leaving it in the comments below.

Happy December my friends. One of the things I love about a new month is the arrival of the Spellbinders kits of the Month. Today I am sharing the December 2021 Large Die of the Month. I'll share the die set and all it's pieces, a sort of review and then make two different cards using this die set.
If you are not familiar with the Kit of the Month program from Spellbinders you should take a second to check it out. They have three different kit of the month that are die sets, a Glimmer Hot Foil kit of the month, Clear Stamp of the Month, Card Kit of the Month and bundles of the different kits you can get as well. They are priced right and come to you each month that you want to continue getting them.
This month's kit, Stitched Layered Background, has 6 dies in it. They layer together for a stunning look and one of the layers you are able to stitch on, or if you are not into stitching it looks great just die cut. Take a look at the two cards I made with this set, one has stitching and the other does not.
Here you can watch these cards come together and get a close up look at this die set.
First let's look at the card I made without stitching.
For this card I used all four of the largest dies to create this layered white panel. I die cut all the layers from White card stock for an elegant look and backed it with red for a pop of color.
This elegant background paired beautifully with my Christmas Florals, a Glimmer Hot Foil set.
For my second card I used the stitched panel to create the look of a Christmas sweater.
First I stitched all the Red diamond shapes and thought I'd then layer the other die cuts over it like on the last card. BUT, the idea came to me to stitch in the open spaces connecting it all with green thread. Inspired by the Ugly (but not too ugly) Christmas sweater, I went for it.
I always enjoy stitching these die cut panels that Spellbinders puts out. Did you see the ornament I made last year with a stitching die? If not here's a link to that video: https://youtu.be/1Ye8sXESUew
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please let me know if you have any questions about this die set or the club kits at Spellbinders.

When first saw the Bottle Gift Tag die set from Trinity Stamps I thought it was a door knob hanger die! So, when I got it I just had to see if it would work for a door knob hanger. I love having dies that I can use multiple ways. And this die does make great bottle tags for bottles of wine or champagne.
I wanted to make a holiday door knob hanger. One that I could use to hang on the door of our Den, which has become the dedicated wrapping room each holiday season. The door knob hanger could indicate that wrapping is happening and not to enter. So here is what I made for this purpose.
This Stuck Santa die set is one of my favorites this holiday season, So, I created a very snowy scene for Santa and added No Peeking to the top of the hanger using the Graham Cracker alphabet, which fit perfectly at the top.
But what happens when no wrapping is happening in the Den? This question gave me the idea to make this door knob hanger reversible like many I have seen in hotels.
Side two, has a die cut snowman from the Slimline Series Snowman die set, also from Trinity Stamps.
Isn't he so super cute? Now let's take a look at how this reversible door knob hanger came together.
Did you see all the different ways I added texture to this hanger???
It was hard to capture in photos all the texture here. But I added Snowfall Grit paste to the snow on the top of the chimney and the snow the chimney is sitting in.
To make sure Santa's boot stand out from the background I added some glaze to them, the shine sets them apart just enough from the night sky.
For the white trimming on Santa's suit I added Cotton Tail flock from Pink & Main. Flock is so super easy to use. I added glue where I wanted flocking and then sprinkled the flock on over the glue. EASY! And having the soft fuzziness on his suit really helps to bring Santa to life.
I did cut a slit in the side of the circle at the top of the hanger making it easier to get on and off the door knob.
Now let's take a look at the flip side.
You can see the Snowfall Grit paste on the snow that he is sitting in much better in this picture. That paste really looks like snow, I am in love with it!
His eyes, nose and buttons are covered with glaze.
THE HAT!!! I am in love with it. I covered the hat itself with Grandpa's Slippers Flock, which is Black. And the hat band is covered with Sparkling Santa's Hat Flocking, which is red flock with red glitter in it!!!
I am in love with this double sided door hanger! It is very sturdy with a layer of light weight chip board in the center, so I am planning on using this for several years to come.

Hello again my crafty friends. Today I am sharing the final episode in my "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. For this episode I am playing with the Magic Iris again, and the Camera Add on. And creating a picture perfect Christmas scene. To go with my card, a coordinating flocked ornament.
This card has so many fun elements on it, but the magic iris has to be the coolest.
I love that is opens as a camera would and reveals another part of the scene. A yummy Christmas village of gingerbread!
The thing I had the most fun with on this card is making the background with the Snowflake Background stencil set and the White Stencil Paste. That white is so white and not a spec of red showed through. I LOVE it!
One of my favorite things to do on a card is to make custom sentiments. With the help of Oliver's Stitched ABCs and the Yeti or Not stamp set I was able to create the " SMILE it's Christmas" sentiment that I wanted for this card.
This card is 6"x 6" and is such a fun size for Christmas and with this coordinating ornament, you have gift too.
What I love about this project was adding the flocking. The flock is Cotton Tail with glitter in it! All I did to apply the flock is dab on some glue with a paint brush and then sprinkled the flock on. Just treat it like glitter and the result is so very beautiful and Christmasy!
To dress up all the cute stamped images I added some glaze all over and sprinkled on some chunky glitter. I loved this so much I went back to the card and added the same thing to the letters in SMILE.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I had a blast making these and hope that you found a bit of inspiration here today.
Below are all the supplies I used to make these two projects. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I am back with my 4th Episode in the "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series! Today's card was inspired by two of my favorite cards from last year! One had a woodland kitchen of mice, the other has removable snow globe shaker ornaments. SO, I am making an amazing holiday kitchen for my mice, but this time in a slimline shadow box card. AND, to decorate the out side of that shadow box, I have two removable snow globe shaker ornaments!
Here you can see all the fun the mice are having in the kitchen, baking up all kinds of holiday treats.
You can watch this card come together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it here.
You can see here that I really went to town, stamping, coloring and die cutting out images for this card. I really wanted to dress up the frame of this card with al kinds of goodies.
And on the inside I love to have a lot to look at inside my shadow box cards. And these mice have been busy this season with gingerbread houses, cookies, cakes, and lots more. They are hoping to sell enough of their homemade goods so they can open up their own shop, Very Mice Treats!
I could not let the fun end there. So I created two mini snow globe shaker ornaments that attach to the sides of the shadow box with hidden magnets from Inky Stamper .
This Snow Globe Scenes stamp set is such a fun one. It has scenes you can put in these globes or you can create your own like I have done here. I loved having little scenes that go with my card in these ornaments. They very easily can be removed and because the magnet is hidden, you can not see a magnet either on the card or on the ornament.
If you missed an episode in this "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series I have listed and linked the first three episodes for you below.
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make today's card and ornaments. If you have any questions about these projects please let me know in the comments below. And I just love hearing from you.

Hey there I am back with Part Three of my Slimline Snow Globe series. In this video I am sharing how to make the Slimline Snow Globe card from Scrappy Tails into a Shadow Box Card! If you missed Part One and Two on making a Spinner and a Shaker out of this die set you can watch them here; Part One and Part Two.
For this shadow box card I used the Christmas Tree Spinner Add On Die set. But this card does not spin, having the other layers of the shadow box would get in the way of the tree spinning, but you could have it dangle like I did with the snowman in my shaker card. I did some very simple paper piecing on this tree and I think it really stands out with the white ornaments.
You can watch this card being made in the video below.
If you can not see the video on this screen, you can watch it right HERE.
For the other layers of this shadow box I have a layer of Christmas presents in front of the tree, and in front of the presents I have one of the deer.
I also used some strips of window sheet to attach a couple snowflakes so they appear to be suspended in the air at the top of the card, in front of the Christmas tree.
And of course I added plenty of embellishment to the outside of the card too, with more die cuts, a sentiment, bling and glitter too.
If you are wondering about where you right on this card, the back of the card has a nice spot for your heartfelt wishes. And you are able to press this card flat to mail. If you are like me and like a lot of layers and bling then you might want to consider mailing it in a bubble mailer or, included it in a package. Of course, hand delivery is also a great option.
Below I have all the supplies I used to make today's card. If you have any questions please let me know in the comments below.

I did a little experimenting in this video, trying out Hot Foiling on new surfaces! In this video I try out; cellophane, a new white card stock, heat proof acetate, patterned paper, colored card stock, and already foiled card stock. Along the way you get some tips and tricks for Hot Foiling.
And in all that experimenting I ended up with 3 Christmas cards using the Glimmer Kit of the Month from Spellbinders for November 2021.
First let's look at the 3 cards and then at the video.
They are so shiny! All three of the cards I made are 5x7 sized. I love this size for Christmas, it seems more special and elegant.
Here you can watch these cards come together and find out if I can hot foil on that!
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can watch it right here.
For the first card I jumped right in to see if I could Hot Foil on cellophane. This is the type of clear plastic material that is wrapped around a lot of the stamping supplies that you and I purchase. I have seen this done a couple times and even so I was skeptical. So, I had to try it out for myself!
BUT, my skepticism was not necessary, it WORKS! Yes, I can and YOU can hot foil on cellophane! And, it's gorgeous, specially with the Gold foil, which came with the Glimmer Kit of the month. This month's kit has three wavy borders that hot foil and two dies that cut them out. I used the dies to cut colored card stock strips to go behind the hot foiled panel. And that hot foiled cellophane, became the cover for my full panel shaker card. You have to check out the video to see it in action.
I also tried out a new Super Smooth White card stock by WOW in this video. Not all white card stocks are great for foiling. So when the lovely people at WOW asked me if I would like to try their Super Smooth Card stock for hot foiling I jumped at the chance. One of the things that gives great results when hot foiling on white card stock is a very smooth surface and this card stock has that for sure. And as you can see by the hot foiled Merry Christmas sentiment, it hot foiled beautifully! I will be using this card stock more for foiling for sure!
On my second card I tried out some heat proof acetate.
Heat proof acetate works for embossing on, it withstands the heat of an embossing gun. But would it hold up on the hot foil machine just laying there for about one minute? YES, yes it did. And I LOVE the results, which you can see on this card. I hot foiled " Merry Christmas" in green foil on the acetate.
Also on this card I did some hot foiling on colored card stock. I have done this before, but have recently been asked about it, so I wanted to feature it on this video. YES, you can hot foil on colored card stock. The car stock I used is 85lb. It was the card stock that Spellbinder use to carry before they switched up their cardstock and the brand is Fun Stampers Journey. I used red foil on this red paper for a gorgeous tone on tone hot foiled look. Not all card stocks are the same, so play with what you have on hand and in the future I will try out other brands of colored card stock too.
Next up, I tried Hot Foiling on patterned paper.
The center, red panel, on this card is patterned paper. It is from the Christmas Traditions Paper pad (I used other prints from this pad for the first two cards). It is on the light weight side as far a patterned paper goes, which made me wonder how it would hold up to the rigors of hot foiling. As you can see, it held up just fine! I picked a pattern of paper that was tone on tone and less busy and it ended up being a beautiful layer for this card.
Another thing I shared in this video is hot foiling a piece of cardstock that has already been hot foiled. First I hot foiled the green pattern on this paper, then I hot foiled the gold border under that. You can do this and it will not effect the previously hot foiled element.
So, all in all, my experimenting was a great success! And it was tons of fun, I set out to make one card and just kept going. I love it when the mojo flows and you have to try this and that! And then hours go by and your family is eating cereal again for dinner. Just kidding, mostly.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please let me know if you have any hot foiling questions. All the supplies I used to make today's cards are listed and linked for you below.

Good Morning my stamping friends! Today I am sharing my card for the "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. This is episode 3! This card is a North Pole inspired scene and it is a shaker, cause they are my fave card to make!
This scene speaks Christmas to me.
The Ho-Ho-Holidays is one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets, I just love a cute Santa. I also brought in the Holiday Helpers stamp set as well as the Holiday Village set. It's Christmas Eve and Santa is getting ready for his big night. Ms. Claus knows the only thing Santa eats on this day is milk and cookies, but she knows how to take care of her man, she's snuck in some flax and chia seeds in those cookies. And a little collagen protein powder in the milk goes undetected too! The little elf is rounding up Rudolph with his favorite treat. Now it's time to load up the sleigh.
You can watch the making of this card in the video below.
I LOVE the sound they make inside the card. And they look so wintery like icy snow.
You can see the shaker element better in this picture, aren't they so pretty. And you can get a good look at the images here as well. I used COPIC Markers to color all my images, you can see how in the video, I keep my coloring pretty simple. But I love coloring and enjoy it so much.
How about the polka dot apron? I would totally wear that!
Two very awesome die sets helped to bring this card to life. In the background I used the new Stitched Snowflake backdrop die. I can not even tell you how much I love having stitched snowflake cut into my paper, it makes me giddy! And my shaker frame is from the Forest Backdrop die set. Which has cute trees in the front. You can't see them too much, because Santa has so many things to put in the sleigh this year, but I did cut the top layer of the trees from light green glitter paper.
This card just makes me happy! Thank you so much for letting me share it with you! All the supplies I used are listed for you below.

YAY! It is time for Episode Two of my "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. This week I am featuring the Eat, Sleep, and Be Merry stamp set from Stamptember. This set was designed by Lawn Fawn for Simon Says Stamp for their big annual event in September. Meaning that is is a limited time offer and when they are gone they are gone. So, that being said, this set did sell out FAST. So fast, I was not able to get the coordinating die set, only the stamp set. So, today I am going to show you how I used my Silhouette Cameo and the PixScan mat to cut out stamped images when I don't have a die set. That also means that you are not able to purchase the stamp set I am using today at Simon Says Stamp. I bet a lot of you reading this might already have this stamp set!
This card started with the All Spruced Up Slimline frame stamp. This stamp made for the perfect scene for these Christmas Sloths. Behind them is a nigh sky created with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink and a lot of snowy splatter.
I used COPIC Markers to color in my images. I found these images be very easy to color. Using a white gel pen for highlights after coloring helps bring the images to life.
I just love this sloth in the stocking so much! I used him again on my tag.
If you look closely at this card you can not only see splatters of snow but some patches of 3D snow, which was done using Stencil Paste in Pearl. It makes great snow. AND I am giving a jar of it away this week! To enter the giveaway you just need to leave a comment on the video for this post over on YouTube.
Now let's take a look at the coordinating tag.
This snowflake die is soooooo super cute, I mean, just DARLING. I thought it would make a great gift tag that doubles as an ornament.
This is a shaker tag filled with white sand. It makes for the perfect snow. I found it at the craft store where they were selling items to make fairy houses.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back again next week with another episode in the "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. Watch for it on Tuesday.
And if you missed episode one, using Tiny Winter People in a Magic Iris card, you can watch it right here.
Below are the supplies I used to make today's projects.

Hello there my stamping friends! Today I am pulling out my Distress Christmas products to make this card.
Can you spot the 4 Distress products I used? In the background I used Winterberry and Peppermint Stick Distress Mica Spray Stains. On the Window for my Cupcake Shop I added some Icicle paste for some icy crackle. And last but not least I added Snowfall paste along the outside of the window and top of the sign. You can see how I did it in the video below.
I love all the different textures that adding shimmer, pastes and glitters gives to a project. Not to mention the tiny clay candy bits!!!
Here is a great close up look at all the textures in this card as well as the fun holiday themed cupcakes from the Jolly Cupcake stamp set. I love the HoHoHo Cupcake shop. And now I need some cake! LOL.
This card is not a shaker card, but could easily to made into one. I just loved the idea of a window display of cupcakes in a store front.
Below I have listed the supplies I used to make this card. However, most of the Distress Christmas products have sold out, as I was a limited time offering. But don't let that stop you from using the sprays and pastes and glitters in your stash to make something similar. Just play and have fun!

You might look at this Large Poinsettia stamp from Trinity Stamps and think that would be fun to color, but what else could I do with it???
Today I am going to share with you 3 ways to use this beautiful Poinsettia that do not involve coloring at all. Each of these cards has a vintage vibe to it and are special cards that are made not just with paper but with love.
It is best to see how these cards came together, check out this video to see my process:
The moral of this card is a very famous proverb, Necessity is the mother of invention. When I masked off my watercolored Poinsettia I did not realize that the masking paper I used was actually sticker paper! That lead to my watercolored poinsettia being covered in glitter. I did not want to start over as I already had such a beautiful inky background. And in the end, I love how it turned out.
As far as the watercolored Poinsettia goes, it is super easy. I used Distress ink cubes in Fired Brick and Rustic Wilderness to ink up the stamp. Then I spritzed the stamp with water several times and stamped it down on to my watercolor paper. The result is this beautiful flowy Christmas floral. Then I masked off the flower using the largest die in the coordinating die set and "masking paper". With the flower covered I was then able to stamp the Encouragement Text background stamp around that. Which was inked up with Vintage Photo Distress ink and spritzed with water before stamping down. Then it was time for splattering. I splattered and ink smooshed Vintage Photo, Fired Brick and Rustic Wilderness. And after I added the die cut sentiment I splattered even more with some white acrylic paint.
Each of my cards has a certain feel to it. The feel of the first card is Christmas Fruit Cake, the colors just remind me of that colorful creation. So, I call it with Poinsettia Fruit Cake card. This next card is the Poinsettia Christmas Fireplace card. Think of the soot around the fireplace, where bits of coal have fallen off Santa's boots, but not into your stocking.
I just love how this card turned out.
It all started with a ink smooshed background in Fired Brick. Then I stamped the poinsettia over the top with Vintage Photo ink, spritzing it with water before stamping it down. When that was dry I use a fine liner pen and sketched out the poinsettia. The point is to make it look very sketchy, not perfect. I also decided to make the entire image be just the poinsettia and not have green leaves. It was very easy to sketch the leaves to look like more petals of the flower. Then I masked off the image, with actually masking paper this time. I stamped the same background stamp with Black Soot Distress ink and water. Then I did a bit of water coloring with the same colors of ink. Adding red highlights to the petals and a black shadow around the flower. White splatter finished it off.
I wanted to carry the glitter element over to this card as well, since it was an unexpected addition to the first card, why not challenge myself to add it to each card I was creating.
So, I used Black Mica flakes in the corners, I was a bit nervous doing this as the card has so much work put into it at this point. BUT, it really adds a WOW factor to this card.
This next card I call Poinsettia Christmas Postcard.
For this card I wanted to utilize the 4 piece coordinating die set and make a layered poinsettia. To color this up I used Distress Mica Spray Stains. Now, I know these are sold out and if you did not get these you could use Distress Spray or Distress Oxide Spray for this technique. After spraying you could add shimmer to it with lots of other products. I will link one I love in the supplies below, Sparkle Silk.
With my sprayed Peppermint Stick Panel and Tree Lot Panel I then stamped the poinsettia once on the green and twice on the red. I die cut them and layers them up with foam squares. For the center of the flower I used Flickering Candle. When you turn this piece in the light the shimmer is lovely.
The background was stamped with the Encouragement Text background stamp in Pealed Paint Distress Oxide ink. Spritzing this with water before stamping it, really gave it a glow! I then splattered it with Broomstick Mica Spray.
The glitter I used on the edges of this card is Tinsel Distress Glitter. And how about those Forest Fern Baubles, they are just the perfect embellishment for the card. All of the baubles I used are from Trinity Stamps and can be found in the supplies below.
I'd love to know if you have a favorite. I think mine is the Poinsettia Fireplace card. I am so proud of myself for sketching that poinsettia and I just love the look. But truly I had so much fun playing and getting inky making these cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I will see you soon with more creations.

Hello my stamping friends. This month, for my Stamp Set of the Month series, I am actually focusing on a stamp company instead of one stamp set. Each week in November I will be bringing you a Christmas video featuring Lawn Fawn products.
This week I am sharing a Magic Iris Snowglobe card and two Tiny Gift Boxes both featuring the Tiny Winter Friends stamp set.
I love this stamp set, Tiny Winter friends even more than I thought I would!
You can see this card and these Tiny Gift Box Ornaments come to life in the video below.
Here is a close up look at the Magic Iris Snowglobe card.
I brought in a few other stamp sets to go with my Tiny Winter Friends, like Tiny Christmas for the Santa and Winter village for the house.
I colored up the girls to look like my girls inside the snow globe.
Now let's check out the Tiny Gift Boxes that I added a mini scene of Tiny Friends to.
Look how darling these little friends are on the front of this box! I made these for my girls and they will hang in the tree for them to get a little gift in on Christmas.
I made this darling girl to look like my daughter Hannah. That candy cane is the smallest candy cane in all the land, incase you were wondering! And I love it! You can see on the side of the box I added the initial "H" from Oliver's Stitched ABC's to personalize the box even more.
I also added a bow to the top as well as twine so it can hang from the tree. And on the side, Merry Christmas from the Say What Holiday Critters stamp set that was a free gift with purchase from Lawn Fawn.
I also love the idea of using these boxes as advent boxes on a tiny tree! Add numbers to the side of them instead of initials!
If you'd like a chance to win the Tiny Winter Friends stamp set, head over to my YouTube channel and leave a comment on this video. I will pick a winner at random and announce them on next week's episode.
Below you will find all the products I used listed and linked for you. See you soon with more crafty inspiration!

It's time to check out the Large Die of the Month for November 2021 from Spellbinders. Once I again, I am blown away by how gorgeous this die set is! And the versatility. Several of the dies in this set can be used on any card, not just for Christmas. This die set is called Christmas Foliage Strips & Borders. There are 13 dies in this set, four of which are slimline border dies.
First, let's take a look at the card and gift tag I made with this new die set.
Look at the foliage, so very pretty. For these projects I went for a vintage Christmas vibe. You can see the backgrounds created and this die set in action in the video below.
I had so much fun making the backgrounds for these projects. First I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide ink; Black Soot for the bottom and Rustic Wilderness for the top. The next step was splatter. I used water, Distress Mica Sprays, and distress oxide ink. I just love how they turned out.
But the star of this show is all the amazing die cuts. You can see all the foliage dies here, layered on top of the border die. To add a bit of interest to my die cut foliage I used a W4 or W6 marker to add shading and then spritzed the pieces with Distress Mica Spray stain.
Once all the pieces were mounted to the card I added more splatter, this time with white acrylic paint for a snowy effect.
After making this card I has several die cut foliage pieces left over and so I used them to make a gift tag.
Do you see the sentiments I used on today's projects? They were stamped and embossed using the Clear Stamp of the Month for November, also from Spellbinders. I love that they coordinate the products in the different club kits to work together. This month's set is called Around the Holidays and now you can get a die set to coordinate with it!
I used all the same techniques for this tag as I did on the card, but have to point out that lacy trim round the bottom of the tag. That is one of the slimline border dies from this months die set, but it can also be used on other sized cards/projects as well.
Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share these projects with you.
All of the November Club kit offerings are listed and linked for you below as well as the supplies I used to make these projects.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I would love to hear from you, so feel free to comment below as well.

Hello my stamping friends. Today I am creating with the November Stamp of the Month from Not 2 Shabby! It's the Cup of Cheer Stamp set. This set is available to purchase now or you can subscribe and get the Stamp of the Month set each month! And what is super cool is that now you can also get the coordinating die set with it if you like!
Take a look at the three cards I made using this new stamp set.
The images in this set are so darling with their cute little faces. Plus, I just love penguins!
Watch the video to see this stamp set in action and these cards come together.
For each of these cards I used small images in the stamp set to stamp and emboss a background. I love making my own backgrounds and embossing a repeating image with white embossing powder is a classic technique that can be used with so many stamp sets. I also used the same layout for each of these cards. Repeating the same layout and design elements really made it easy to create three cards. I only had to think of one idea and then repeat that with new colors and new stamped images.
To get my images ready for coloring I stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed them with clear powder on Bristol Smooth Card Stock. Then I used two shades of each color to get some shading when I colored. I also go the lighter areas on my image with the used of the Blender Pen. These markers blend with each other beautifully. Watch the video to see them in action.
Marshmallow stamps, so simple, so super cute! Love them! And this little cup with the smiley face is just darling.
On this card especially you can see the splatter in the background that is real life is shimmery, as I used Perfect Pearls to make the splatter.
I finished off these cards with some sequins, which came with my order. I little sampler of sequins that had great options to coordinate with these cards.
These cards were simple to make and easy to replicate. But mostly, I had fun making them and that is what makes for a great card.
You can find the Stamp of the Month for November, Cup Of Cheer right HERE.
If you like the Stamp of the Month from Not 2 Shabby you are going to LOVE the Box of the Month! Arctic Winter is the cutest collection of winter critter stamps, paper packs, Ephemera and embellishments.
Now let's take a close up look at each of the cards.
NOTE: Before creating my cards I stamped out all the image in the Penguin Party stamp set, colored them and die cut them out to be ready for card making. And while I had the stamps on my MISTI, I stamped them out several times so I could add as many images as I wanted and I would have some ready to go for future use if I had left overs.
Here are all the Copic Markers I used to color my images:
Penguins: N8, N6, N4
Beak and Flippers: Y15, Y17
Red Things: R46, R29, R17
Teal: BG32, BG11
Shading for White areas: N2, N0
White Gelly Roll Pen size 08 for accents
CARD ONE
Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Card Front: 5-1/4" x 4"
For Snowflake: 4" x 4"
Window Sheet (2): 3" x 3"
1. Stencil the Snowflake background stencils and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
2. Trace the opening of the die cut Magic Iris Snowflake onto the card front where you want the shaker panel to be.
3. Die cut around this traced circle with a circle die about the same size or slightly bigger. Approximate size of the circle is 1-3/4".
4. Adhere one of the window sheets to the back of the opening.
5. Adhere the snowflake to the front of the card, right around the circle.
6. Stamp your sentiment before assembling your shaker.
7. Add foam tape to the back of the card front all around your window, making sure the ends of the foam tape touch so that none of your shaker elements can escape. Add some extra foam tape to the top and bottom of this panel as well so the card front will be sturdy on the card base.
8. Add in your shaker elements, I used micro beads and seed beads. Remove the backing off the foam tape that is around the window. Adhere your second window sheet here.
9. Remove the rest of the backing from the foam tape and add glue to the foam tape that is covered by the window sheet, assuring a good hold when you now add this panel to the card base.
10. Add your stamped images to the center of the shaker.
11. Embellish with some rhinestones or bling of your choice.
CARD TWO
Card Base: 8-3/4" x 7-1/2", scored at 3-3/4"
Card Front: 8-1/2" x 3-1/2", die cut using the Large Slimline Die set from Lawn Fawn
Let it Snow Sentiment: 4" x 4" of glitter paper
Hill: 4" x 1-1/2" of glitter paper
Scrap of white card stock to stamp talk bubble
1. Die cut the Card Front panel from white card stock using the Large Slimline Die form the Large Slimline with Sliders die set from Lawn Fawn. This gives the paper a stitched edge. Or you can just cut a piece of white card stock to 8-1/2" x 3-1/2".
2. While this die is out die cut a pice of glitter card stock to create a hill, I used a scrap that was about 4" x 1-1/2", only cutting the bottom and sides. I the die cut the top with one of the Simple Stitched Borders, to create the hill to build my scene on. Set this aside.
3. Back to the card front panel, ink the the bottom 1/4 of the panel withe Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.
4. Ink the top 3/4 of the panel with Black Soot Distess Oxide ink, blending it lightly with the Salvaged Patina.
5. Spritz the panel with water from a spray bottle. Blot up the excess water after a minute with paper towel or cloth. Next splatter on some Liquid Stardust using a paint brush. Lastly, splatter on some white acrylic paint that has been thinned out with a bit of water. Set this aside to dry.
6. If you want your die cut "Let it Snow" to be more sturdy and stand out off the card a bit back it with one or two additional die cuts of this image from white card stock.
7. Stamp the talk bubble in black in on white card stock and the "warm wishes" in Lobster ink in the center and cut this out. Both images are from a free with purchase set from Lawn Fawn called "Say What? Holiday Critters". If you do not have this shop your stash and find something that will work for you.
8. When the background panel is dry adhere the sentiment, hill and images. I popped up my igloo, penguin and talk bubble with foam squares and glued the other pieces.
9. Adhere the card front to the card base.
10. Add some Winter White gems in and around the scene for accent to finish off this card.
CARD THREE
Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 3-3/4"
Card Front: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Hills: 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Sentiment Circle: 1-3/4" (or center from circle die left over from die cutting the snowflake for Card One
1. Die cut card front from white card stock using the Stitched Snowflake backdrop.
2. Die cut two hills using a scrap of white paper and the Simple Stitched Border die set. If you do not own this die set, hand cutting some hills is really easy to do.
3. Add some Salvaged Patina ink the the center of the card for a highlight. And add a bit of this ink to the tops of the hills.
4. Splatter the background and hills with Liquid Stardust.
5. Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Magic Holiday Message stamp set on a circle that is about 1-3/4" with VersaFine Onyx Black or VersaMark ink and emboss with black embossing powder.
6. Also from the Merry Holiday Message set, stamp the holly image twice, color and die cut.
7. Adhere the hills to the bottom of the card front, layering one behind the other.
8. Stamp "North Pole" from the Penguin Party stamp set on the sign with the stripes in black ink. Glue this to the back or top hill on the card.
9. Glue the string of lights to the igloo and glue this to the card, as well as the puff of smoke so it looks like it came out of the chimney.
10. Pop up the Penguins on the front hill. The penguin on the left is holding a present and the baby penguin on the right is holding a fish for a gift exchange.
11. Pop up the sentiment on the top of the card, in the center. Glue a holly image to each corner on the top of the card.
12. Adhere the card front to the card base.
13. Adhere some Winter White rhinestones to finish off the scene.

I am super excited that in the latest Trinity Stamps release there is a new stamp set designed by Love, Dani! I adore her art, it is very much my style. She incorporates her inspiring word art with images. The newest image is Warm Heart. It features a heart wearing a scarf and hat and the sentiment says, "You Warm My Heart". The word art is often open, so that you can coloring the letters. AND, too coordinate with this set Trinity Stamps has a great die set to go with. You can cut out the words in this sentiment and the images! The heart, the scarf and the hat. They are paper piecing dies, which gives you so many possibilities.
For my card today I paper pieced the scarf for more 3D detail. I used one of my favorite Christmas color combinations for this card and it makes me so happy, let's check it out.
Look at that adorable image! And how about that background... it is the Mini Slimline Geometric Cut Out Panel. I thought it looked like a nordic sweater pattern done tone on tone like this.
Here is a close up so you can see the dimension I got by paper piecing the scarf. I love the mix of coloring and paper piecing. Having a lot of different textures on my cards is so much fun to me.
Speaking of texture. I use scraps of corrugated card stock as an accent and it is just delightful.
For embellishment I used Diamond Stickles and Cinnamon Red Hots Jelly Drops Hearts. Both of which are the little something extra that put the love in this card.
I love that I can send this card anytime during the winter from the start of winter to Valentines day and anything in-between! Thank you so much for stopping by. You can find all the things I used to make this card listed and linked for you below.

Hello there my stamping friends. Today I am celebrating the newest release from Trinity Stamps with a hop! Several of the design team are bringing you project inspiration with the new projects from the Treetops and Trimmings release.
I get to share with you the Mistletoads stamp set. This 6 piece 4" x 3" stamp set has cute little frogs that can stand under the mistletoe or can be used year round in other scenes. I made a Christmas themed loved note.
Aren't they just darling! I also made a custom sentiment for these cuties using the Graham Cracker Alphabet and MY OWN HANDWRITING! That was the scary part. But the saying "Meet Me Under the Mistletoad" was just stuck in my head and I had to do it. If you ever have this situation but you do not love your hand writing you could also use alphabet stamps or print out your sentiment. There are two sentiments in this set you can also use, "Hoppy Holidays" and "Blessing bestoad upon you".
I love making Christmas cards in non-traditional colors, like this pink, red, white and green. And it is a card that can be given at Christmas time but is not your traditional Christmas card. However, I have an anniversary in December and it would be good for that, or a great Christmas card to give to your partner.
This stamp set is a fun and unique set for Christmas but can also be used well beyond too. If you have a frog lover in your life this is a great set to make them a birthday card as well, as it has the stack of presents that could work for a birthday as well. And the sentiment from this set; "Blessing BesTOAD upon you" could go with a birthday I think.
You can see this card come together in the video below.

Welcome back my stamping friends. Today I am sharing the Large Die of the Month from Spellbinders for October 2021! I'm LOVING this die set. I looked at it and immediately knew I had to make an ornament with this die set!
This is the Santa's Fireplace die set. There are 27 dies in this set and the price of the Large Die of the Month is only $27.99. That is an amazing deal! This set has dies that will create the fire place, complete with log and burning fire and a grate to keep it all contained. There is also a base for the fire place that you can drop in one of six of the sentiment options. There is also a kinetic Santa, which means you can adhere the legs so that they swing back and forth! You can dress up your fire place with garland, flowers, a bow, candle sticks, stockings and even a wreath. SO many great dies in this set, no detail was left out.
You can see all the dies, what they cut, how to put it all together and see how I made this ornament in the video below.
Once you see this die set in action and know where all the pieces go, it is very easy to put together. I love that there are dies to cut out pieces to adhere behind the details cuts into the fireplace. I used silver card stock and I love the metallic shine it adds.
To create an ornament from this fireplace you need a base to adhere it all too. I simply traced around my fireplace and base onto a piece of heavy weight white cardstock. I then cut this out and was able to pop up my fireplace onto that to create this ornament. The good thing about the base being white is that you can add to it. I chose to stencil on some bricks. You could also ink blend the glow of a fire if you wanted to have a fire inside the fireplace. I did not want to burn up Santa's feet, so I just added the logs and grate.
Look how great the garland and stocking look. It's the little details that really make this piece special and Spellbinders never forgets to add in the little details with this Large Die of the Month. Also, I added the words, "Dear Santa" to the base of my fire place, but there are 5 other sentiments you could drop in and die cut out of the base; give thanks, noel, warm wishes, merry christmas, and a gift for you.
I chose to use the greenery to make a garland to go across the mantel of my fireplace, but you can take these same greenery pieces and create a wreath. This fire place easily fits on an A2 sized card or larger. The wreath would look great as an element above the fire place when you add it to a card. There are also candle sticks you can add to the mantle. They were just too thin to add to the top of an ornament.
There are so many different looks you can get with this fireplace, just by changing the colors you use. I love the idea of a fall look and using the GIVE THANKS words on the base of the fire place. And it would be easy to make a spooky fireplace as well and add some drips to the candle sticks. So, don't let the name, Santa's fireplace stop you from using this die set for all occasions.
Below I have listed and linked all the club kits that Spellbinders has to offer. They are all subscriptions that come to you automatically each month. You can bundle and get more than one kit a month. You can also change or cancel your subscription at anytime. Let me know if you have any questions about the kits of the month or about this Large Die of the Month.

Hello there stamping friends, I am back with more creations using the All Aboard Kit from Spellbinders. I previously used this kit to make twenty one A2 sized cards. If you missed that you can check it out in this video. When making those cards I did not use the die set that comes in this kit, the train die set. So, today's projects focus on the train.
You can see this card and tag come together in this video.
This train is pretty easy to put together as the die creates scored lines in the train indicating where the layering elements go. And the kit comes with an idea sheet that shows you each piece put together and it is very helpful.
All the paper I used to make this card is from the kit. Instead of using red card stock I used the red glitter card stock for some added interest. Each train car has a different color and is holding something different. This die set comes with dies to make ornaments, presents and trees.
For the background I added a bit of Broken China distress oxide ink around the edge of my light blue card stock panel. Then I added three layers of splatter. First, a mist of water, then white acrylic paint and last Sparkle Silk. When all the was dry I stamped the snowflake image from the kit in Chipped Sapphire ink to complete the snowy scene.
I had enough left over train elements that I decided to make a coordinating gift tag. This time I decided to go for a white train. You can have so much fun with this die set making different color trains, and it is good beyond the Christmas season too.
If you are wondering about the realistic snow I added to my projects it is the Snowfall Grit Paste from Tim Holtz latest Ranger release. It was a limited edition product, so if you are reading this and this product is no longer available you can use white or translucent grit paste and add glitter to it for a similar look.
Thank you so much for stopping by! If you want to see what all comes in this amazing All Aboard Kit, I have a complete unboxing video right HERE you can check out.
