Coloring for a Cause

Hey there stamping friends. Today I am sharing a video that I am super excited about. I bought some digital downloads from Love, Dani Studio. I love her art work and was excited to have digital images of hers to color. If you recognize her style that is because she is one of the stamp set designers for Trinity Stamps as well. But the main reason I bought them was because all proceeds of the sale went to support all those still displaced by the Boulder County Wildfire that took place on December 30, 2021. This fire that devastated the small town of Superior, Colorado left thousands of people homeless as 1,000 homes were destroyed. Entire subdivisions were reduced to nothing but ash. Dani of Love, Dani Studio lives there. Although her home was spared her heart is broken for the friends and neighbors who's lives have been forever altered and the devastation they face. She wants to make a difference in her community and so she used her gifts and talents to raise money by selling these five printable color sheets.

Now let's take a close up look at each of these five cards. 

I just love that Dani creates images with word art and each and every image is uplifting and inspirational. 

I used Copic Markers to color this image and I just love how it turned out! 

Embellishments on this card are so much fun, rainbow jelly hearts from Trinity Stamps. And I added touches of glitter as well with some Diamond Stickles. 

Do you see the patterned paper I used in the background? That paper is part of a collection, designed by Love, Dani for Trinity Stamps. It's delish paper and is linked for you below. 

I only wish I could make bubble letters like this, but that is why I am a stamper and not an illustrator. Thank goodness for Dani who shares her art with the world and brings joy to everyone who either makes with it or receives it. 

Again, on this card I did my coloring with Copic Markers, my favorite thing to do with word art is to color it with a ombre effect. 

You'll see that I brought back the Diamond Stickles to dress up the hearts once again. To embellish, rhinestones in all colors of the rainbow, also by Trinity Stamps. 

Don't you love the nice highlight that the white gel pen gives the letters!  

I had my fun with my Copic Markers and something just led me to pull out my watercolors and paint this image. Now, I printed this out on some cheap card stock that I buy in a ream from Walmart, sooooo, special care was taken to paint with little water. I can say, I had tons of fun painting this and I love the soft imperfect look of watercolor. 

I added a bit of Sparkle Silk for some shimmery splatter on this card and some white gems. And, yes, Diamond Stickles. 

For the four card I pulled out another coloring medium, colored pencils. It's been a while since I used them and it was refreshing and I always feel so artsy when I use them. 

Do you see the nice embossed line around the edge of the die cut rectangle? That was created with the use of the Modern Edge A7 rectangle dies. I love that little touch, so much nicer than just using a rectangle that I cut with my paper trimmer.

You can see touches of Diamond Stickles in the confetti on this card. 

Went a little crazy with color on this card. I made these stripes on this card using ink cubes from Concord & 9th. Then I darkened the letters with colored pencils. Speaking of crazy.... I added glaze to the largest words to help them POP. 

And I had fun with the embellishments too. I love the clay hearts and rainbows! Such a cute touch.

DIY Christmas Bingo

Hello there my stamping friends. I feel so accomplished today!  I have started on my Christmas gifts!!! When I saw the new Christmas Icons stamp set from Scrappy Tails I knew it would be perfect for making a Christmas Bingo game!  

My family plays Christmas Bingo every year. We use a set that I mad a VERY very very long time ago. My husband thought it would be a good gift idea for me to make another set for his brother's family. However, I did not have all the things I had when I made our set. THEN, Scrappy Tails released this new stamp set, Christmas Icons and the gift making was underway!!! This stamp set has 25 images that are just under 1". They are all Christmas related and are solid images that do not have to be colored in. I mean, it was almost as if it was made for me to make these Bingo cards!!!

All I needed now was the actual bingo card. So I went to Etsy and searched. I right away found a blank and printable Bingo card from the Heavy Feather Designs shop. It was only $3.99. Once I paid, the file was emailed to me, I downloaded it and print it out. The printable fits two cards on one sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock. I used light weight card stock that I buy in a ream at Walmart for my printer. This bingo card even prints out lines for you to cut on. So, I trimmed out the cards with my paper cutter and then was able to mount each card on to a 5" x 7" piece of colored card stock. 

Now let's chat about stamping the images on you bingo card. There are 25 spaces and 25 images in the stamp set. So, I chose 5 colors of ink and decided I stamp 5 images in each color. Then I set to randomly stamping out the images one at a time. Stamping each card with each image and then moving on to the next. I stamped all the images of one color before moving on to the next color. This worked really well, and I only ended up putting the same image in the same spot twice, oops! I made 5 Bingo cards and to complete the set I think I will make 5 more. It is nice to have plenty for a big group to play and it is nice for players to be able to switch out their cards. 

Other things you are going to need when making a bingo set are the calling pieces and markers. 

I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut out circles that are just under 1" for my markers. I made some in each of the five colors of card stock that I used to back my cards. I also cut these same size circles in white and stamped each image on to a white circle to make the calling pieces. If you do not have an electronic cutting machine you can always use a punch or a die to make your circles. 

I also cut circles slightly bigger from colored card stock to mount the calling pieces on to, this makes them more sturdy. 

The Bingo cards I purchased had large open letters. I thought it was fun, it gave me an opportunity to dress up my cards, give them more character. So I colored in each letter in with an ombre effect, using each of the five colors I chose for my cards; card red, dark green, dark brown, gold, and light blue. 

There was a bit of open space at the top of each card, above the word BINGO, I stamped "Merry Christmas" in this space. This sentiment is also found in the Christmas Icons stamp set. And if you like the Christmas Icons stamp set, there is a similar stamp set called Religious Christmas that would also work for making the bingo cards. 

I am very excited to gift this Christmas Bingo game to my brother-in-law. I am going to find a cute Christmas tin to put it in, that will be cute gift wrapping and a nice place to store the game as well. Let the Christmas memories begin!

Introducing Crescent Creation

Hello stamping friends. Today I am part of a blog hop celebrating the opening of the online shop, Crescent Creation. The shop owner is my friend Neha Tulsyan. Now let's take a look at the card I made for this hop and then I will have all the hop links for you below. 

For this card I combined Digital Stamps and traditional stamps. The slide image is from a Digital Stamp Set, Park Fun. I thought a slide image was such a fun image to add to my collection. And I knew it would pair well with my Avery Elle Peek-a-Boo critters. So, I asked my daughter, what animal is most likely to go down a slide. She said PENGUIN! And so this card was born. I thought it would be really fun to do a Christmas card with this slide. I'm pretty sure I have never seen a Christmas card with a slide before!!!

The little penguin I added to the top of the slide is from the Avery Elle stamp set, Polar Peek-a-Boo Pals. I love that it looks like he is about to take a slide down, he even looks a little apprehensive.  But not to worry, his friend (in this case) the polar bear safely made it down the slide and over the snow. 

I found some glitter paper from my stash with a light pink tint and thought it would be perfect for my snowy or icy hill. I also paired up Digital sentiments from the Park Fun set with a traditional stamped sentiment on this card. 

I altered the "to say" sentiment by cutting off the word "hi", so it would then say... "Sliding by to say Happy Holidays". 

I accented this card with some clay elements, Snowflake Mix, also from the Crescent Creation shop. These darling snowflakes were the perfect finishing touch.

Finding your lost Mojo with a challenge

Have you had one of those days where you can not find you mojo. Card making is not happening. Crafting is a no go. But you have time and new things, only you don't know what to make?!? 

That's when I like to turn to a challenge. Like the one I am playing along with today from Not 2 Shabby. You can find these kinds of challenges all over the World Wide Web. The fun thing about them is it gets you thinking of how you can incorporate that challenge into what you have. And that can be just the thing to spark the old mojo!  Here is the challenge board for the N2S July challenge .

You can be inspired by the colors, the images, the flowers, the shapes, the suit with the boutonniere (WEDDING!), and so much more. 

Another thing that can spark creativity is collaborating with a friend. AND, of course I am doing that too for today's challenge. I collaborated with my friend, Jenn Hartsgrove of Katahdin Krafts to up the challenge a bit. We decided together that along with Not 2 Shabby challenge we would also use the Waffle Cone Ice Cream Digital stamp from N2S and make a slimline card. This really gets the wheels turning. And I am always super excited to see what Jenn will come up with, how similar and how different will our cards be!!!

Now let's take a closer look at today's card. 

For the used of the ice cream cone I print and cut out 3. I colored them (with COPIC Markers) to go with the colors of the inspiration challenge board. I love the look of blending the blue and purple together. I think this ice cream must be Blueberry and Huckleberry. I then attached them to a sheet of Faux Embossed Watercolor Paper.  I cut off the excess cones and reused them to fill in the entire background for a more full look.  I added the sentiment and some gems to dress up the card. 

I am in loved with the striped edge of the paper. That look is created with the new Slimline Striped Frame Panel die by Trinity Stamps.

I also wanted to share today's creation with you in a video so that you could see how I made my swirled coffee background, using Shaving Cream.  It's an old technique, but a good one. Watch me get all messy right here.

Making a shaving cream background is so much fun!  I love the swirly look it creates that looks good enough to eat. Have you tried a shaving cream background before? 

Here's an up close look at today's card. 

I LOVE digital stamps for a couple reasons; one you get instant gratification. You see a stamp you love, you purchase it and print it out!  No waiting on the mail!  Second, I can make that stamp any size I like. Third, I can easily make a mirror image of that stamp. 

If you have not tried Digital Stamp Sets yet, I highly recommend just giving it a try!  You can find this digital stamp set, Some Bunny bring me some Coffee, right here.

The printer I use for my Digital image is the HP Envy 7645. I print out on light weight card stock that I buy in a ream at Walmart. It is great for Copic coloring. 

I also like to use my Cameo Silhouette to print and cut out my Digital images. In my design studio in Cameo I am able to adjust the size of the image and group them together like I did with the egg for today's card. All of the things I did for my card you can do just by printing out your images. I also designed the pink shaker frame for this card in using my Cameo Silhouette. You can see a clip of it in my video. 

The shaker elements I used are from Trinity Stamps. They have a TON of embellishments. Clay elements, half pearls in all colors, sequins, confetti and gems and more!   These clay elements are made to look like real sprinkles, this mix is called Neapolitan.

I love a shaker card and this one in the slimline size with the shaving cream background, makes me so happy! Thank you for letting me share it with you.

Cameo Silhouette Hacks for Card Making

Today I am sharing some hacks for using the Cameo Silhouette for card making with digital stamps. 

Several of you have commented, letting me know that you have not used your Silhouette in a while. An electronic cutter, like the Silhouette can be a great tool for card making. In this video I am going to show you the following hacks..

Sizing of digital images to perfectly fit your card

Print and cut card front panels with digital images on them

How to make masks of your digital images

Creating custom sentiments to print and cut

Create custom sentiments that are white with a black background

Create a die cut background around a digital image

Plus, I am sharing 3 totally cute cards using the Snow Happy Digital stamp from the Not 2 Shabby Shop.

Have you tried digital stamps?  If not let me tell you what I love about them. 

1. You can purchase a digital stamp from the comfort of home and play with it that same day. 
2. You can make the images any size you like. 
3. They are very reasonably priced.

Now let's take a closer look at each of these cards. 

On this card I used my Silhouette to size the digital stamp to fill my card front. I also created a mask so that I could ink blend a night sky behind him.  And I created my own sentiment that is black on white with a die cut look. 

I print and cut my image so that it was on a 4" x 5-1/4" panel.  I like to use a light weight card stock that I get by the ream at Walmart. I use a HP 7645 printer to print out my images and then I am able to Copic color with out any problems. 

For this next card I used my Silhouette to create a snowy backdrop for my snowman image. 

You can see the snow falling and snowflakes are cut from the paper around the snowman. This is very easy to do on the Silhouette and you can see me do it in the video above. 

I also made another custom sentiment for this card. This time in a rectangular shape. 

After coloring in my snowman and splattering it with Perfect Pearls, I popped up the panel on to a piece of light blue card stock. I love the shadows this gives the background. 

I just couldn't stop with two cards, so I made this third one with a distinct Valentine's look. I colored in the background around the snowman with my B01 Copic Marker. I created the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment using the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie font that I purchase and downloaded from the Silhouette Design store. And this is the font I used on all the sentiments I made. I did make three others that I used on the insides of these cards.

And after coloring in the image I splattered the entire image with white acrylic paint for a snowy look. 

I am so in love with this Snow Happy digital stamp. You can easily use this digital image with out the Cameo Silhouette electronic cutter. But I hope these card making hacks have inspired you to dust off your Silhouette and use it for card making, there are so many possibilities.

Hot Cocoa Bar sign and tour

Hello there my stamping friends. 

Today I am sharing how I made this sign for my Hot Cocoa Bar and giving you a tour of it as well!  

On my sign I am using an image I downloaded from the Silhouette Design Store, Hot Cocoa by Jillibean Soup.

That is the image on the base of my sign, which I made to look like it was on a chalkboard, using Print and Cut in my Cameo Silhouette studio. If you do not have a Silhouette you could easily find  a hot cocoa printable. Etsy is another good option for things like this. 

To dress up my sign I used the Holiday Latte digital stamp from the Not 2 Shabby Shop. 

I wanted the cups to have a Santa and Elf feel to them. I colored them using Copic Markers. 

To take these cute cups of cocoa up a notch I added a cute little critter from the Peek a Boo Holiday Tag Toppers die set by Avery Elle. 

They add the touch of cutesy, that I love. But a sign like this would be equally as cute with out the critters. 

I added a bit of holly and a bow to finish it off and added it to my Hot Cocoa Bar.

Holiday Latte Digi Stamp - Print & Cute on Silhouette

Hello again, welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a card for the Not 2 Shabby Digi Challenge for the month of November. 

The challenge this month is to use a Digital stamp from the Not 2 Shabby Shop and a stand alone die set. 

This month, to make it more fun, I am collaborating with my friend Bitty Penny.  We have been following each other on YouTube and just became friends. So, you have two fun videos to watch today!  We thought we would make it even more fun and add another element to this challenge!  And that is to make a shape card!

Another great thing about this challenge is that YOU are invited to play along. Create a project using this month's challenge and post it to social media, like Instagram and use the hashtag #not2shabbydigichallenge so I can find you. At the end of the month a winner will randomly be selected to win a free digital stamp from the Not 2 Shabby Shop!   

For my shape card I thought I would challenge myself to use my Silhouette Cameo to create the shape card and print and cut my digital stamp. The digital stamp I chose is the new Holiday Latte.

Now let's take a closer look at my Holiday Latte Shape Card. 

I ADORE this digital stamp!

What is so cool about digital stamps is that you can change the size of the image. I thought I would make this latte be my card and make it BIG.  The finished size of this card is 3-3/4" x 6-1/2". It will fit nicely in a slimline envelope, or in a hand made envelope. 

I colored in my image with my Copic Markers. I just use my HP Envy 7645 printer and light weight card stock for all my digital stamp and have not had an issue coloring them in with Copic Markers. 

After coloring in the cup I then stamped a snowflake pattern over the cup in white. The snowflake is from the Winter Sentiments stamp set from Not 2 Shabby. You can get this stamp set for free when you make a purchase of $60 at the Not 2 Shabby Shop. 

The stand alone die set I chose to use is the Oliver's Stitched ABC's from Lawn Fawn, to add the word JOY to my cup. I accented the letters with a holly stamp from the set, A Creature Was stirring, also from Lawn Fawn. 

I used my Cameo Silhouette to print and cut my digital stamp as well as create this shape card, you can see how in the video above. 

I also used the Winter Sentiments stamp set on the inside of my card, the perfect saying for this card.

Digital Stamp on a Slimline

Today I am sharing my project for the October #not2shabbydigichallenge

October's challenge is to use a Not 2 Shabby Digital Stamp on a Slimline card. With digital stamps you can make them any size you like. So I thought it would be fun to print out this image so that it would nearly cover the front panel of a slimline card. The image I chose is the Pine Tree. A gorgeous, fluffy tree. Great for winter, Christmas or woodland scenes. 

I just LOVE how this card turned out. I so enjoyed coloring in this image.

If you think you don't have the right equipment for Digital stamps, you actually might. I use a HP Envy 7645  printer. I print out on light weight "cheap" cardstock that I bought in a ream at Walmart. I color in my digital images with my Copic Markers and have never had an issue. 

For this tree I use G02, G16 and G19 Copic Markers. I layered them up and repeatedly went back and forth between these three green markers to fill in this tree and get the look I wanted. 

After coloring the tree itself I used my Cool Gray Copics (C4, C2, C0 and C00) to create a shadow around the tree. When it was all colored I die cut the portion I wanted for my card using a stitched slimline rectangle die from Trinity Stamps.  This created a panel that measures 8-1/2" x 3-1/2". 

Then I set about adding snow to my tree. First I used a bit of white acrylic paint, thinned out with a bit of water, and splattered that over the entire scene. It give the tree some snow definition I use Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff. It puffs up when you heat it, perfect for snow!!!

The stunning die cut "Merry Christmas" is from a new die set, Scripty Christmas by Trinity Stamps. After my die cut sentiment was mounted to my card, I adhered this panel to a white card base that measures 8-3/4" x 7-1/2", scored at 3-3/4". This fits in the business size envelops I purchased at the Dollar Tree very well.

Not 2 Shabby Shape Card with a Digital Stamp

Hey there I am back with another card project!  Today I am playing with a Digital stamp set from the Not 2 Shabby shop, The Farmers Market. This set was hand drawn Jamie, the owner of Not 2 Shabby. This is a digital stamp set has 12 images that can be downloaded, printed, and colored by you. When you purchase this set, for just$ 5.99 will get 5 PNG files. One sheet of sentiments and images pre-sized, just print and color and all four images on separate PNG files so you can resize them as you wish. I used both the pre-sized images and the actual farm stand image I re-sized to make my shape card. 

This card is part of the Not 2 Shabby September Digital Challenge. Each month we have a new challenge for you to play along with, this month we are using a Digital Stamp + a Traditional Stamp.

I enlarged the farm stand image to be as close to 4-1/4" wide as I could and printed it so it was at the very bottom of the page. This way I could score the card at the top of the stand and fold it in half to create a shape card. So the stand is the card, it is not mounted on to a card. I also omitted the word OPEN at the very top of the stand by covering it with a white square before printing it out. This allowed me to add an additional stamped image to the top of the stand to give it a custom name. I stamped "Scarecrow Kisses"  from the Happy Fall stamp set to the sign so that this is a specific Farmers Market stand, the Scarecrow Kisses Farmers Market!   Then I set to coloring in my images with Copic Markers. 

Here is what I used to color...

I printed my image out using my HP Envy 7645 Printer.

I used light weight, cheap, white card stock purchased at Walmart in a ream to print my image on. 

This has always worked for me with my Digital images and I am able to color them with no issue using my Copic Markers. 

I used two other images from the Happy Fall set, the Crow and the pumpkin. I added them to the front of the card for more depth and interest. 

Now on to the inside of the card. I had to line it because for one I used light weight card stock and two, the Copic coloring shows through to the inside. 

I cut two pieces of Oatmeal Cookie card stock to 4-7/8" x 3-7/8" so I would have two liners. 

The liner that is on the top half of the card I stamp tone on tone with a gingham background stamp so it was not just plain. I repeated that look of gingham with a stamped strip on the bottom that was the perfect spot to add another pumpkin a crow. 

I also used one of the sentiments from the Farmers Market digi stamp set for the inside, "Love you veggie much". SO cute!

Not 2 Shabby Digi Challenge 1

Welcome to the first ever Not 2 Shabby Digital Challenge. You are invited to play along with us!

Here's the challenge..... Design a project using 3 digital images from the Not 2 Shabby Shop and include embossing on your card (dry or wet embossing). Post your creation on Instagram and anywhere else you like using the hashtag #not2shabbydigichallenge.  Then we can all find each other and see each others creations!

The images I chose to use are the Coffee Cart and Pumpkin Spice Everything. 

When I saw the Coffee Cart set I thought of how many fun holiday scenes I could create with it. 

What is special about this digital set is that you have so many options. You get 4 printable, a sheet with all the images separate that is set to a size perfect for cards. With this you can build your own coffee cart, as I did in this video. AND, you get three images with carts already designed for you with all the little images. These images you can make anywise you like. So many possibilities.  So, for this card I wanted to make a fall scene and the Pumpkin Spice Everything image was the perfect match for my second image. My third image is one of the sentiments that come in the Coffee Cart set. 

For the background I used the Hero Arts Ombre pad in Autumn.  And it turned out great. I was not sure when I first started with the background, but once it absorbed into the paper is was stunning! Then I added a bit of gold splatter with Gold Silk from FSJ. 

Now let's talk about all the important details of Digital Stamping. 

1. Printer - I get a lot of questions about what printer I use so I thought I would share that with you today. I use the HP Envy 7645. It has Thermal Inkjet ink, which is die based. I get little to no smearing when I used this printer and do Copic Coloring.  I do try not to color over the lines, however. 
2. Paper - To print my images off I use a "cheap" card stock that I purchased at Walmart, Georgia-Pacific 110lb. It is light weight and easily goes through my printer. It also is excellent with buy Copic Markers!  I have also used Neenah 80lb card stock for digital stamps as well with the same great results. 
3. Cutting digital images out - Fussing cutting is always an option but once we all started die cutting out we all of a sudden couldn't bear the thought of putting ourselves through that kind of tourture again. So, besides the gruesome scissors, there are electronic cutting machines. I use a Silhouette Cameo with the PixScan mat. All I have to do is take a picture of my images on the PixScan mat, open that picture in the Silhouette Design Studio. Then I am able to trace the images and then I do an offset line around the trace. I can adjust that line to be as close or as far away from my image as I like. Then I run the PixScan mat through my Silhouette and it cuts the images out for me.  There are several other applications you can use this mat for, so it is a great addition to the Silhouette. 
4. Coloring - I love Copic Markers, so that is what I use most of the time to color in my digital stamps. My printer and the card stock I have chosen work great for this. But, if you have issues with your printer here are my other suggestions. First, try heat setting your printed images. Second, try different card stocks, a more porous card stock vs. a smooth one seems to work best for me. Third, play around with other mediums Like colored pencils. I made a gorgeous watermelon card, coloring my digital image in with colored pencils, you can see the video of that card right here.

Not 2 Shabby Digi Coffee Cart

Hey there my stamping friends. I am back with another Christmas/Winter card. It is July and so I want to throw in a few more Christmas cards, I love the Christmas in July idea! Getting me ahead in the game before the big day sneaks up on me!  

Today I am playing with a digital stamp set (which I love to call digi) from the Not 2 Shabby Shop.  It is the Coffee Cart set. I adore this set because it is so darn cute. Also, Jamie, who designed the set gave us options with the purchase of this set. You get a ready to print sheet of images and sentiments. And you have some premade coffee cart scenes that you can play with the size. For today's card I am using the ready to print images. 

I used my Copic Markers to color in all the images used to make this cute winter Coffee Cart. All the images, including the sentiment are from the Coffee Cart set. I love that it has so many images in it. I wanted to use them all! 

To cut out my images I used my PixScan mat and my Cameo Silhouette machine. Having a digital cutting machine makes easy work of digital stamp sets. But fussy cutting them out is always and option. 

My favorite thing about this card is the Candy Cane smoothie!  I'm not sure why, but food related images are just so darling to me!

I did not forget about the inside of the card, I am actually enjoying challenging myself to something on the inside of all my cards. 

 

I use the left over images ad the other half of the snow bank I used for the front of the card. And still plenty of room for a personalized note.

Slimline Shaker Card with Not 2 Shabby

Hello there my stamping friends. 

So, have you played with Digital stamps?  I am somewhat new to them and it is a like a new world has opened up for me!  I love that I can find an image that I might need for just one occasion and have it that instant to make a card or project. 

So, when Jamie asked me to be a part of her Digital Stamps design team for Not 2 Shabby, I was thrilled. Today's card features two Donut images found on the Not 2 Shabby shop, designed by Jamie herself. And this card and video is for a collaboration I am doing with another of the design team members, Marla Harris. For this collaboration Marla challenged us to use stencils on a slimline card, and I got to pick the digital stamps we use. 

So, you can check out what I made and then see what Marla did for this challenge. 

I used the stencil for the background of this slimline shaker card. It is the Rain of Hearts stencil from Penguin Palace.  In the video I show you how easy it is to use a 6" x 6" stencil on a slimline card.

These donut image are so fun to color. I use COPIC Markers to do my coloring. I printed my images on an HP Envy printer on to Neenah 80lb. card stock.  I did not have any issues with the kind bleeding on this image. If you would like to see how Jamie from Not 2 Shabby colored these images you should really watch her videos here and here.  I don't know why but making desert themed cards is one of my favorite kinds of cards to make. And most of the time they turn out to be shaker cards too. So, this one is no different. For my shaker elements I used some heart shaped sprinkles that I had on hand. 

I did not forget about the inside of the card. IF you are going to say Treat Yo'self on the outside of the card, you should really be a gift card on the inside. Or cash, cash is always good. The sentiment stamp is from Concord & 9th and is in the Cool Treats stamp set.  I also used the heart die from the Cool Treats set for the brown hearts on the outside of the card, they made for cute embellishments. Especially when I added a bit of Cocoa Blush Nuvo Jewel drops to them.  

The gift card holder I used is from Fun Stampers Journey, it's the Gift Slider Die set. I love that the gift card is behind a little bow!  And when put on the inside of a slimline card you still have half of the card to write your personalized message, win!  Also, I just found out that the Gift Slider Die is on sale as part of the Super Summer Sale  at Spellbinders! It's 40% off!

April YouTube Mystery Swap

Hello my crafty friends. It is time for another Mystery Swap with my friend Jen Hartsgrove! 

The theme for this months swap is Digital Stamps. Jen and I both chose digital stamps and we are both going to create with both of the images. Not only that we  both sent each other a package of things to use with those digital stamps. It's super fun to see what each of us make, starting with the same supplies.
