I made the card first, it is a Slimline Full Panel shaker, made using the slimline pockets from Trinity Stamps. I also used the North Pole Gnomes stamp set to add a couple extra reindeer to this card. You can see that set as well as the entire Holiday Release at Trinity Stamps right HERE.
The snowflakes in the background of this card are Hot Foiled, it is a new 14 pieces hot foiling snowflake set, with dies to cut out each of the snowflakes as well.
It's the Frosty Foiled Flakes set, cute name!
And, I could not have made this scene with out the Embossed Edge Hills & Slopes die set. It has the perfect die to create a slope to sled down!
I used another of the Shaker Pouches from Trinity Stamps to make this full panel circle shaker tag. It is large, 4-1/4"! Big enough that you could make it a circle shape card. And big enough for my sledding gnomes. The background of this tag features the Pine Forest Background stamp. It a great whimsical background. You can find this stamp set and much more holiday fun HERE, in the new Holiday Release at Trinity Stamps .
And get your Sledding Gnomes Stamp set before they sell out right HERE.
Let me know if you get this set and if I should share more ideas with it!
I am sharing 3 ways to use this die set, it's very versatile and can be used in so many ways besides on a 4 oz paper cup.
You can see these projects come together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on your screen you can also watch it HERE.
Before we move on with the hop, let's take a close up look at each of the projects I made.
First up is the Mini Coffee Cup. These cups are 4 oz. and an inexpensive purchase on Amazon.
This die set has all the pieces shown to create these decorated mini cups. The die set also has dies to make a santa cup, penguin, snowflakes, ornaments and more. I decided to focus on the snowman, cause I love them! I want to have several of these on hand to give out during the holiday season. I think I would like to put hot cocoa bombs in these.
These dies are so versatile, so I used them to make a few other fun things for the holidays.
Next up is a Wine Bottle Tag or, it can also be a Door Knob hanger.
To make the face a little bigger I thought it would be fun to use Rhinestones in Gloss Black. I love the dimension it adds and gives more of a look of coal.
I also made this tag even more special by using glitter paper for the tag itself and the hat and buttons.
Lastly, is the full panel shaker with melty snowman.
This one might be my favorite. First of all I LOVE a shaker card. Second, the melty snowman makes me SMILE!
For this full panel shaker card I used the A2 Full Panel Layer Shaker Card Pockets. I love this set of pockets because it allows me to make a full panel shaker that mounts to an A2 sized card with a border all the way around the pocket. I love this look. But, Trinity also has FULL A2 sized pockets too, as well as Slimline, Slimline Layer, Mini Slimline Layer, and 3 sizes of circles!
I also has the PERFECT shaker bits to add to this card, called Summer Snowman. It is a mix of clay bits and sequins that are snowman parts and snowflakes. SO FUN!
My sentiment is from the Simply Sentimental You stamp and die set. I thought it was fun for a melting snowman to say Missing You.
I hope you are inspired to play with your Christmas products and get a jumpstart on things like gifts, tags and cards.
Hello there! I have been having so much fun with Christmas in July, especially with the club kits from Spellbinders.
And today we are celebrating these fun Christmas themed kits with a hop and giveaway! All the hop details are below.
For this hop I really wanted to make a shaker card with the stocking from the Large Die of the Month, Stocking Full of Joy. The only issue I had is that the die that cuts out the stocking, also cuts out the hanger for stocking, separately, which means I can not get an opening on my card that is just stocking shaped. So, I came up with a little work around. And was able to make a shaker card.
You can see this work around in the video below. If you can not see the video on your screen, you can also watch it HERE.
The idea to make this card a light up came from using the new World's Best Foam Tape from Pear Blossom Press. It is designed to work with the EZ Lights that are also from Pear Blossom Press, so I set out to incorporate lights into this shaker card. I am so glad that I did, I love the light up holly garland!!!
If you have never used EZ Lights, the name does not lie, they are indeed the easiest light to add to cards! And I show you how in the video.
The background on this card was created with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Adorning the Trees. I used Distress Oxide Sprays on the Folder its self for this look. You can see how and 12 other ideas with 3D Embossing Folder in THIS VIDEO.
For my sentiment I used the Glimmer Kit of the Month, Glimmering Christmas Flora and white foil on red card stock. I love that this set has dies to cut them out and how it cuts them out so closely.

This month I am featuring the Wheelie Great Day Stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
It's a darling new stamp set with Ferris Wheel image and little critters to ride in it.
This week I am pairing it with the Furever Friends stamp set, which was a free with purchase stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
This card is a full panel shaker with my scene overlaying it. This allows the shaker elements to be hidden away. It's pretty cool. You can see this card come together in the video below. If you can not see this video on your screen, you can also watch it HERE.
If you like this card and video be sure to stay tuned to my YouTube channel for two more episodes featuring the Wheely Great Day Stamp Set. I'll be back next Thursday, March 16th with Episode 2!

There is one new product that I just had to play with first and that is the Clover Stencil. It is an add on to the Checkered Stencil from the January release. That means you can use the two together. But what I love so much is that you can use the Clover stencil on it's own too. So I used these stencils in both of my cards for the hop. Both cards are also shakers, I used the Stitched Shamrock die to make my shakers and am showing two different ways to do that too in my video.
I loved using the traditional green for St. Patrick's Day along with pink for these cards. And did you notice the sentiments on these cards? If you are familiar with Trinity Stamps you probably know about their line of Simply Sentimental sets. These sentiments are from the NEW Simply Sentimental Lucky stamp and die sets. You can see these cards come together in the video below. If for some reason you are not able to see the video up on your screen, you can check it out right here.
Here are few close up pictures of each card.
For this card I layered the clover stencil over the checkered stencil pattern. I love the layered look in shades of green.
This shaker sits on top of the background. I filled it with Clover Cluster Confetti, a great embellishment from this release! The sentiment is stamped and embossed with gold, a great way to tie in the feel of St. Patrick's day, add something gold!
I took this one up a notch on the background for sure. First I stenciled on the Checkered Background. Then in the open spaces I added the clovers with the new Clover Add-On Stencil. Lastly, I had to incorporate the hearts add-on stencil too, using a darker ink so they stood out over the checkers.
This shaker is inlaid, it's right in the card front. I also use the Clover Cluster Confetti plus some pink seed beads. This time I used the dies from the Simply Sentimental Lucky for the main part of the sentiment and stamped the sub sentiment right on the card front.
If you are curious about the inks I used to stencil my backgrounds onto colored card stock here they are.
Background One:
Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink
Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink
on light green card stock
Background Two:
Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink
Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink
Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink
on light pink cardstock

A new release always makes for a good day! Today I get to celebrate and help kick off the Sparkle Season Holiday Release with Trinity Stamps. You may already know I am a huge fan of the Trinity Stamps line and am blessed to be a part of their design team. So to help kick off this new release I am sharing a fabulous new die, the Large Ornament Shaker Die.
As a HUGE fan of Shaker cards I knew I had to play with this die set right away. And I found that with just one pass of this die I could actually get enough pieces to make three cards, and so that is what I did!
You can see these three cards come together and the ink backgrounds I created for them in this video. If you can not see the video below you can also watch it HERE.
Here is your close up look at each of these cards.
This ornament is just over 3 inches and makes a great focal image for an A2 sized card (5-1/2" x 4-1/4").
This style of shaker card is called Inlaid. The shaker window is below the surface of the card front. The red ornament frame on this card the cut from the largest die in the Large Ornament Shaker die set. This set also has a topper for the ornament, a dainty little bow, as well as pine branches.
I filled this shaker with a clay embellishment mix, Deck the Halls. It has little trees, leaves of holly and red berries. To this mix I added a little bit of red beads that are super tiny. I have had these beads in my stash since before I can remember.
Did you notice my sentiment? It is from the new Simply Sentimental Holiday stamp and die set. If you are not familiar, Trinity Stamps has an entire line of Simply Sentimental sentiment stamp sets. Each set focuses on one word, like HOLIDAYS, in this case. There is a stamp and die of this word in several different fonts. And you can mix and match the different Simply Sentimental sets together. The Simply Sentimental Happy is a perfect match for the Holidays set!
The frame of this shaker was die cut from the background panel on the first card. It is a thin frame and Trinity Stamps now makes foam tape that is this exact width of this frame and they curve around the frame like a dream!
I filled up this shaker with some Glistening Snow Confetti pieces for a shiny contrast to the green.
The element of shine also shows up in the background of this card which I made using different green Distress Mica Sprays. I just sprayed and splattered my paper with 3 different greens, super easy and a so pretty!
For this last card I had a circle left from cutting out my ornament and used that along with the pine branches to create a wreath.
And here you can use the use of the Simply Sentimental Holiday and Simply Sentimental Happy together on this card, as well as the previous card. I love that the fonts are the same in each stamp.
And yes, this is another inky background, I love the red ink smooshed background with white splatter on top. You can see all these backgrounds being made in the video for these cards.
Below I have listed all the new products from the Sparkle Season Holiday Release.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great week.

When I saw the new shaker mixes by Heffy Doodle I thought they were beautiful and I could not wait to put them in a shaker card. So, today I am sharing three cards I made with 3 of the new mixes. First let's take a close up look at the mixes I used.
These mixes are a blend of different color of sequins. Also different sizes of sequins. The three mixes are; Pink Fizz, Pixie Hollow, and Unicorn Dreams.
And here are the cards made with these mixes. The stamp set I chose for these cards is Koality Hugs. There are so many cute Koala bears in this set that it was easy to create three cards with this set.
You can see these cards come together in the video below. If you can not see the video up on your screen, here is a link to the video on my YouTube channel.
Now let's take a close up look at each card.
Card One - Pink Fizz Sparkle Mix
The background for this card was stenciled with the Wonderful Window Masquerade stencil and Salt Water Taffy Distress Ink. There are sequins in this mix that are that color as well as some other shades of pink.
I was able to stamp and emboss my sentiment onto the window of this card because I used heat resistant window sheets.
Besides the adorable hugging koalas sitting on the branch I wanted another element to dress up the front of this card and so I pulled out my Forest Leaves die set and some glitter paper. Adding these to the corners of the card really helped to draw the eye into the center of the card.
CARD TWO
Such a sweet sleepy koala, love this image so much. I added a party hat to him, since he is like me ready to have fun but also ready to go to bed early. LOL.
This back grounds was super easy to use with the help of the Vertical Vines stencil and some Distress Oxide spray! The fun thing about making a sprayed background with a stencil is that the spray collects on top of the stencil and you can press a piece of paper on to that and make a second background with our anymore work! I will use that second background on card three.
The leaves on this card are die cut from glittery fun foam, designed by Spellbinders for die cutting! It's great and does not shed glitter! I've linked it for you below along with the other supplies I used.
I just love the green and purple together on this card, all inspired by the Pixie Hollow sequin mix.
CARD THREE
Here is the background made from pressing my paper on to the stencil after using Distress Spray on it. You can see it has white vines with green around them. This time I used patterned paper for the leaves around the frame of the card. This print is from the Wild Flowers paper pack. The enamel dots I used on the centers of the flowers are a matching pack to the Wild Flowers paper. The edition of the flowers to the base of the leaves is so fun, a great touch.
I love that with one stamp set I could use different Koalas on each card and a different sentiment. A stamp set with versatility like that is my favorite!
So, which one is your fave? Each card was designed around the sequin mix, which was a lot of fun to do. And now it is time to send these cards out and let them bring some happiness to someone else.
Below you will find the supplies used to make these cards. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey there stamping friends. Today I am making 3 wedding cards using all new products and a few older ones from Trinity Stamps. I am loving the Happily Ever After release. They have several products perfect for wedding or anniversary cards. What I love so much about them is that you can add just one of them to your stash and create beautiful wedding cards at a low price point. Watch these cards come together and let me know which product you think is most versatile!
In the video below you can see me create each of these three cards. If you can not see the video on this screen, you can also watch it HERE, on my YouTube channel.
Below you can find close up pictures of each of the three cards I created in this video.
This card features the Happily Ever After stamp set. I love how great this image look in just black and white!
The background was embossed with images from the Summer Blooms stamp set, one of my favorite floral stamp sets!
You can not go wrong with a classic black and white card! But why not make it with some special elements. I die cut the Wedded Couple for this card from some black glitter card stock.
The fancy background on this card was done with the Foiling Floral Hot Foil plate and Prism Foil, GORGEOUS! The Mr. & Mrs. die set is a fun set that you could also use for teacher cards, adding the name of a teacher using just the Mr. or Mrs. and then last name of the teacher. Plus with the way this die set is made you can configure them how ever it best suits your card.
I couldn't resist making a shaker card using the Wedded Couple die.
I used the Script Wedding Day die set for my sentiment. The entire die set will spell out Best Wishes on your Wedding Day. And each word is separate. So, you can use Best Wishes all by its self.
Here are all the supplies I used to make today's cards.

This new release has to be one of my most favorite! Such cute new image and fun new die sets! For my card I am using Farmyard Fun Stamps and the Stitched Birthday Trio A2 Frame die. I thought it would be fun to make a John Deere inspired shaker card.
The Stitched Birthday Trio die set really has so many options on which parts you are going to use and how and I just love that about this die set. I chose to use the frame and the negative pieces from die cutting the "happy bday to you". I put all the pieces together to make the front of my shaker card.
I filled my shaker with some red clay hearts for some nice contrast with the yellow and green. Knowing I was using these red hearts I made sure that my stamped images reflected this color for cohesiveness.
Isn't that tractor so cute! The heart detail in this set that you can add to the exhaust pipe makes me smile! And it was the the inspiration for putting hearts in this shaker card.
You can see this card come together in the video below. If you can not see the video up on your screen, you can watch it HERE.
Below I have listed and linked the supplies I used as well as all the products in the new release. All stamp sets have coordinating dies available, even if not shown in the list. Click on the stamp set and you will see the coordinating die set in the shop.

I am back with my 4th Episode in the "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series! Today's card was inspired by two of my favorite cards from last year! One had a woodland kitchen of mice, the other has removable snow globe shaker ornaments. SO, I am making an amazing holiday kitchen for my mice, but this time in a slimline shadow box card. AND, to decorate the out side of that shadow box, I have two removable snow globe shaker ornaments!
Here you can see all the fun the mice are having in the kitchen, baking up all kinds of holiday treats.
You can watch this card come together in this video.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it here.
You can see here that I really went to town, stamping, coloring and die cutting out images for this card. I really wanted to dress up the frame of this card with al kinds of goodies.
And on the inside I love to have a lot to look at inside my shadow box cards. And these mice have been busy this season with gingerbread houses, cookies, cakes, and lots more. They are hoping to sell enough of their homemade goods so they can open up their own shop, Very Mice Treats!
I could not let the fun end there. So I created two mini snow globe shaker ornaments that attach to the sides of the shadow box with hidden magnets from Inky Stamper .
This Snow Globe Scenes stamp set is such a fun one. It has scenes you can put in these globes or you can create your own like I have done here. I loved having little scenes that go with my card in these ornaments. They very easily can be removed and because the magnet is hidden, you can not see a magnet either on the card or on the ornament.
If you missed an episode in this "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series I have listed and linked the first three episodes for you below.
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make today's card and ornaments. If you have any questions about these projects please let me know in the comments below. And I just love hearing from you.

Good Morning my stamping friends! Today I am sharing my card for the "It's a Lawn Fawn Christmas" series. This is episode 3! This card is a North Pole inspired scene and it is a shaker, cause they are my fave card to make!
This scene speaks Christmas to me.
The Ho-Ho-Holidays is one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets, I just love a cute Santa. I also brought in the Holiday Helpers stamp set as well as the Holiday Village set. It's Christmas Eve and Santa is getting ready for his big night. Ms. Claus knows the only thing Santa eats on this day is milk and cookies, but she knows how to take care of her man, she's snuck in some flax and chia seeds in those cookies. And a little collagen protein powder in the milk goes undetected too! The little elf is rounding up Rudolph with his favorite treat. Now it's time to load up the sleigh.
You can watch the making of this card in the video below.
I LOVE the sound they make inside the card. And they look so wintery like icy snow.
You can see the shaker element better in this picture, aren't they so pretty. And you can get a good look at the images here as well. I used COPIC Markers to color all my images, you can see how in the video, I keep my coloring pretty simple. But I love coloring and enjoy it so much.
How about the polka dot apron? I would totally wear that!
Two very awesome die sets helped to bring this card to life. In the background I used the new Stitched Snowflake backdrop die. I can not even tell you how much I love having stitched snowflake cut into my paper, it makes me giddy! And my shaker frame is from the Forest Backdrop die set. Which has cute trees in the front. You can't see them too much, because Santa has so many things to put in the sleigh this year, but I did cut the top layer of the trees from light green glitter paper.
This card just makes me happy! Thank you so much for letting me share it with you! All the supplies I used are listed for you below.

Hey there stamping friends. You might already know that I love a shadow box card. I recently purchased the Heffy Doodle Big Shadow Box die set because it is a different size than the other two that I have. This shadow box card is the size of an A2 card when it is laying flat. Another LOVE of mine is shaker cards, so why not combine these two favorite things into one? And then you have a Shadow Box Shaker Card!
I love that you can make a 3D scene with a shaker card, and a squirrel jumping into a pile of leaves to fetch an acorn, that makes for a fun fall scene for this box.
To create the shaker on this card you need to make a shaker box out of two pieces of window sheet. The window sheet size need for this card is 4-1/8" x 3-3/8", cut two of these. Then add very thin foam strips around the outer edge of one window sheet, making sure the end touch so that none of the shaker elements can escape. Once you have the shaker elements on the window sheet, remove the backing from the foam strips and add the second window sheet. This is what you are going to add to the back of the window of the shaker box. You just want to make sure you follow the steps in the video as to when to adhere down what so that the box goes together correctly.
Once you know how to do this you can then decorate you shadow box as you like. I chose to use the Nuts About You stamp set. We have a lot of squirrels in Idaho and they are so busy right now getting all set up for winter, so this card was such a fun card to make.
I used a few new woodland themed products from Heffy Doodle as well on this card.
For my background I used the Falling Leave Stencil and a few Distress Oxide sprays; Barn Door, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed. I did this on some very light blue card stock for a feel of the sky. I used this on the out side of the card as well.
You can see on these side panels that I added a bit of texture to them with the Woodland Texture Background die. LOVING that die so much!
I added lots of leaves to this card as well. I die cut the Forest Leaves from water color card stock that I sprayed with the same Distress Oxide Sprays as I did for the stenciled background as well as Rusty Hinge. I used this same sprayed paper to die cut tiny leaves from the Tree-Mendous Peek a Boo die set for my shaker elements.
The tree on the front of the card is also from the Tree-Mendous Peek A Boo die set, I love how it frames this card and give me a place to hand the bird feeder.
My favorite part of this card has to be the squirrel who is jumping into the leaves. I added him with a skinny strip of window sheet that is attached to the bridge of leaves with a glue dot and then to the back of the squirrel with a glue dot. This makes him appear as if he is actually jumping in to the leaves. What a fun fall card this was to make. I hope that you have a moment to watch the video and see it all come together.
If you are interested in the supplies I used I have them listed and linked for you below.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to visit me and let me share my creation with you!

It's release day at Trinity Stamps and I am playing with one of my favorite dies from this release. And it is part of a YouTube hop! You are going to LOVE all the new inspiration in the projects you see today.
You can check out ALL of the products in this amazing new release right HERE.
For my projects I chose to play with the new Slimline Skelly Die set. And when I first saw this skeleton die set I really wanted to make a rainbow skeleton! And that is what I did today. I die cut the skeleton one time, but was able to make 2 shaker cards!!! One being a FULL PANEL shaker and the other traditional style shaker. You can check out the video right here and see these fun cards come together.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can watch it right HERE.
The Slimline Skelly die set is very cleverly designed because it has a die that cuts out all the bones and it has a die that cuts all around the skeleton. As well as a few accent pieces for it; a hat, bow, and heart. At the end of this post I share two other cards I made using the skeleton die with the outline die. For these cards I ink blended a panel of white card stock with the following Distress Oxide colors; Kitsch Flamingo, Mustard Seed and Salvaged Patina. This blended into a beautiful rainbow panel. I die cut the skeleton from this panel. I used the bones for my full panel shaker card and the negative panel for a traditional shaker card. Tell me what you think of a rainbow skeleton. I am loving how it turned out and think this could be used other times beside just Halloween.
If you are not familiar with a Full Panel style shaker card it is very easy to create! You just need to save up some cellophane type packaging material. The piece I used was the packaging from a pack of vellum. I cut it so it was larger than my card front panel. The panel is 3-1/4" x 8-1/4", the plastic is about 4-1/4" x 9-1/4".
Once your card panel is complete you lay it face down onto the plastic sheet, so it is centered. Cut off the corners of the plastic sheet, pretty close to the card front panel. Then using double stick tape you wrap and adhere the flaps of the plastic around the card front panel, only doing 3 sides. Do not pull it back too tight. Leaving one end open allows you to now add the shaker elements. I used the Oh My Stars Silver Holographic mix. Lastly, fold over and adhere the third flap. Then you can adhere this panel down to your card as normal.
I attached my full shaker panel to a scalloped border from the Slimline Scalloped Card Panel Die set, which also has the die I used to cut the black sentiment strip. The sentiments are both from the new Shaker Your Bones stamp set, which if you love skeletons, you are going to LOVE. It is stamp set of skeletons in all different poses and some punny sentiments. Like, "it's going tibia okay".
If you look closely to at the background behind the skeleton in this full panel shaker cards you may be able to see some wispy clouds in a Metallic Frost ink. I stenciled those on used the October Night stencil set.
Now let's chat about the traditional shaker card.
I loved my ink blended rainbow panel so much that I could not just throw out the panel after die cutting it. I thought it would make a great shaker card panel. So, I adhered it to a window sheet and piece in the eyes, nose, ribs and pelvis bones. I added the bow and heart die cut from glitter paper, as I did on the first card as well. Then I lined the back of it with foam strips, add more of the Oh My Stars mix and backed that with another window sheet. Doing the sandwich method with the window sheets makes it so much easier to then add the shaker to the card.
Since my original ink blended panel was only 7" long. I added a strip of glitter paper to the top and bottom of the card and this made the perfect spot to add my sentiments.
You can really see all the shimmer I added to the rainbow panel in the picture below. That is good old Perfect Pearls mixed with water and splattered on.
I added some bling to my cards too, the Melanite Magic Rhinestones. They are black gems with an iridescent finish.
I would love to know which card is your favorite! Leave a comment below to let me know, I so enjoy chatting with you.

Hey there, I love the beginning of the month and sharing with you the new kits from Spellbinders. In this post I am sharing the Glimmer Kit of the Month for August 2021. This kit has 4 hot foil plates and 1 die. The hot foil plates are two floral sprays, one sentiment and one hex shape. The die is a larger hex shape that will die cut around the hot foiled shape. These florals are beautiful and are great for repeat foiling to create a background. Which I did a bit of on my slimline card. I also used the die to make a mini shaker on this card. I also used the Bright Pink foil that comes in the kit to do all of the foiling on this card.
You can see this kit in action and this card come together in the video below.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can view it right here.
You can see here that I not only used this set to make a floral background, but I used the die and the sentiment to make a mini shaker window on this card.
To give my flowers a bit more interest I added a bit of shading with some colored pencils. I used white on the centers of the flowers and the stems and branches. Light pink on largest flowers and a darker pink on the small flowers. I love the pop this gave the flowers and that it still kept with the pink theme of the card.
I finished off the card with a splattering of Bubble Gum and Sparkle silk.
Another thing to note about the kits of the month is that several of them work together. This month the Large Die of the Month, Small Die of the Month, Clear Stamp of the Month and the Glimmer Kit of the Month all coordinate! I love that mixing and matching the different kits just expands my creativity. If you are interested in receiving multiple kits at a time Spellbinders has bundle options available.
Below I have listed and linked all the supplies I used to make this card, as well as all the kit options that Spellbinders has to offer.

Hello my stamping friends. Today I am sharing a card inspired by one of my viewers. Making a lemonade card using the Lemon and Leaves stencil set and the Summertime Sips die set, both by Trinity Stamps. I love a challenge and this one got the creative juices flowing for sure.
Watch the card come together in this video and see how I used splattering to give these lemons some texture.
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it right here.
I have to say I have the most fun when stenciling with the Lemons and Leaves stencil set. I really would like to make some limes and pink lemons next. But doing these with the splattered texture made me so happy. The Summertime Sips die set to make a yummy summery lemonade to go on top is perfect for this season. Here in Idaho it as been 100+ most days and and icy drink is just the thing when it's that hot.
What is your favorite summertime drink. Do you like smoothies? We are big smoothie drinkers in our house. The fave being a chocolate banana peanut butter smoothie. I have also made several batches of sweet tea this summer, my hubbies fave. Have you tried the new infusible tea bags that you put into cold water??? They are great in lemonade too. My daughters favorite splurge drink is iced Chia Tea made with oat milk. I don't know about you, but now I am thirsty!
It makes me think, how many of these drinks could I make as a shaker using the Summertime Sips die set? I love al the fun dies in this set that add to the cup, the ice cubes, the straw, the different lid options and the WHIP CREAM. I know this is not a normal topping for lemonade, but it is too cute not to put on all the drinks!

Yay! It's time again for one of my favorite things, the seasonal hop with the Lawn Fawn Fans team! This is the Summer Lawn Fawn Fans YouTube hop.
Each designer in the hop is making projects either with a summer theme or using products from the last release from Lawn Fawn.
For my projects I am using the Happy Hugs stamp set and making two shaker cards. One is a mini shaker on a square card and the other is a shaker on a slimline card the uses left overs from the first, a two for one deal!
You can start the hop right here with my video, make sure to click over to watch it on YouTube, so that you can comment and be entered into our GIVEAWAY!
The next stop on the hop is Lauren Taylor, you can watch her video here and see the super cool card she made using the Sending Big Hugs die.
Be sure to leave a comment on each video in the hop for a chance to win a $25 shopping spree to the Lawn Fawn shop. And a great big THANK YOU to Lawn Fawn for being the sponsor of this hop! A winner will be selected at random and announced on the community tab of my YouTube page on June 25th.
Now let's take a look at both of the cards I made for this hop.
This cute little squirrel is remember how nice it is to hug and hang out with friends.
I used the new Magic Iris Thought Bubble add on for my shaker. And I just had to use the new Plaid Stencil set for my background, that was so much fun to make!
On the inside of this card I added the Sending Big Hugs die cut, for a fun surprise.
Then I used the piece I die cut this from the make the second shaker card.
I added plaid behind this shaker and I just love that look.
I also added a custom sentiment to this card, that I just wrote inside this thought bubble, "A hug would be mice". I love a good pun!
Make sure to hop along with us and leave comments on the videos as you do, so you can be entered to win the $25 shopping spree from Lawn Fawn.

It's summer time and that means swimming, BBQ's, staying up late and watching America's favorite talent show on TV. It's a great family show that my daughter loves to watch with us. I thought the Center Stage die set, by Trinity Stamps would make a great card inspired by this show. I also wanted to make this card a shaker, so the shaker elements could represent the pressing of the GOLDEN BUZZER! Even if you are not into this show, this card is a fun shaker.
Watch the making of this card right here.
And now let's take a closer look at the card.
I designed the card so that all the shaker elements can be hidden.
BUT THEN..... Someone presses the Golden Buzzer! Which on the show means you are amazing and get to jump to the live shows and don't have to audition again, it's a big deal!
The talent on this card is from the Le Cirque stamp set. It is a fun circus themed set, which also has a flying trapeze girl!
I especially love that there are dies in this set for the audience, or in my case the judges. And I was able to customize them to look like the actual judges.
The finishing touch on this card is the sentiment. The stamped part is from the A Sentiment for Almost Everything stamp set. I masked off the word THIS so I had only YOU'VE GOT. Then I added the word TALENT using the Graham Cracker Alphabet.
Thank you so much for stopping by and letting me share my creation with you. I will see you all again soon with another crafty creation!

Hello my stamping friend and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing cards from Episode 3 of my Tiny Friends stamp set of the month series. All month long I have been sharing ideas with this fun stamp set. Today the Tiny Friends are getting married and going to the fair!
You can watch the episode here and see these mini slimline shaker cards come together.
My first card finds the Tiny Friends at the chapel, getting married.
These Tiny Friends work great with all the village sets from Lawn Fawn. Here I used the Happy Village and Village Shops sets to great the scene. And in this shaker card is bird seed to bless this happy couple.
One of my favorite things about this card are the birds. If you want to see how I reversed the image to have a bird facing the opposite direction be sure the watch the video.
I also love the brides pink hair and the grooms tie, which I added in myself.
Now let's take a look at my second card a scene of tiny friends at the fair, using the Coaster Critters stamp set.
Do you see how perfect they fit in the booth and coaster cars perfectly! I thought it would be fun to have a red, white and blue color scheme for this card. Then I could use the American a mix for my shaker elements from the Craft Supplies by CC Etsy Shop.
I had so much fun making little shaker cards with this cute tiny friends! Be sure to tune back in next Tuesday at 8pm MST for Episode 4, the final episode with this stamp set. And click over to my YouTube channel to leave a comment on each video in this series to be entered to win a $25 shopping spree to the Lawn Fawn shop! Winner will be announced on May 3rd!
Below I have listed and lined all the supplies I used to make today's card.

Today I am collaborating with Pear Blossom Press and Lauren Taylor of LaurenTaylorMade to bring you this fun light up card. Pear Blossom Press makes the EZ-Lights, which I featured earlier this month in this video. And they just came out with Halo Lights! A ring with four LED lights on it. The electrical work is all done for you, all you have to do is add it to the back of your card! It is that easy. So, Lauren and I decided to come together and give you TWO ideas with these new lights. After you watch my video I have a link to hers so you can get another great Halo Light idea.
My first idea when I saw the new Halo Lights (4 LED lights mounted in a circle) was to use them to light up the Snow Globe from Lawn Fawn. And it fit perfectly! Let's watch this Light Up Snow Globe card come together in this video:
If you can not see the video up on this screen, you can also view it right here.
First off I have to say that I LOVE using the Snow Globe die set for other things beside Christmas. I have already used it two other times for different occasions. Like THIS mermaid snow globe card and this Froggy Snow Globe card. So making this garden gnome themed snowglobe was bound to happen. My daughter loves mushrooms and frogs and plants, so this card was inspired by her.
Now let's chat about the Halo Lights. You can see them in their packaging in the picture above. The come two to a pack. There are 4 LED lights around the light weight metal circle. You just pop the Halo out of the casing and it is ready to use.
Here is how I attached mine. I took my die cut snow globe and traced the opening onto a 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of card stock. Then I stamped my sentiment inside that circle. I added double stick tape to the back of my Halo Light and stuck that around my sentiment, with the battery and button towards the bottom of this panel. I made sure to erase my pencil line before moving on to the next step.
To turn this into a shaker, I used two layers of double stick foam strips around the halo, on the out side of the LED lights, but still on the metal frame. This gave me the reservoir I needed for my shaker elements.
I adhered a window sheet to the back of my snow globe opening and then stuck the snowglobe down to the halo light so that the sentiment shown in the opening. Now I removed the paper strip that is behind the battery of the Halo light. When that paper is in place the lights will not turn on. With the paper removed, you just push the red button next to the battery to turn the lights on.
I felt for the button on my snow globe and added a white enamel dot over it to indicate a button on the outside of the snow globe. If you have a stamp that says PUSH, that would be perfect to use right here.
I added a sentiment to the base of my snow globe from Heffy Doodle that says, "you light up my world", from a stamp set that is now retired. And the enamel dot button is right next to that. I love how it lights up the inside of the globe, illuminating the sentiment and shaker elements.
The shaker elements I used, these bright colored leaves, are from the Craft Supplies by CC shop on Etsy. They carry great embellishments, some organizational products and some stamps and dies at great prices.
Below I have listed and linked all the other products I used to make this card.
